Ashley Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 Been there about a month, thought its about time we mentioned it. Scroll to the bottom left hand corner and change it with the drop down menu. If you use 1024x768 best to stick with the default, but this is for you nerds with huge monitors :p Thus the header doesn't really link too well but apparently people care more about stretching than art. Pff.
Mr_Odwin Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 The header does exactly what I wanted the old one to do. :p
The Peeps Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 I actually think it looks a lot better with the gap on the right, I'll be keeping it as it is :p
Shorty Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 I actually think it looks a lot better with the gap on the right, I'll be keeping it as it is :p Same here, I prefer to read slightly narrower paragraphs, and would rather scroll than read all the way across the screen.
Emasher Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 i've been using the streatchable theme for a month or 2 now i'm glad its finally been improved
Roostophe Posted January 2, 2007 Posted January 2, 2007 I actually think it looks a lot better with the gap on the right, I'll be keeping it as it is :p Me too. I'm used to the large gap now. Same here, I prefer to read slightly narrower paragraphs, and would rather scroll than read all the way across the screen. Ditto.
The3rdChildren Posted January 4, 2007 Posted January 4, 2007 I like the regular theme and all squashed forums in general. Everything looks more substantial when it's crushed into a smaller space. Spread out it looks like everyone is lazy and makes small posts.
Eddage Posted January 4, 2007 Posted January 4, 2007 I've always loved the regular theme, never had a problem with the blankness on the edge! I agree with The3rdChildren, it looks like more has been written and i think generally it just looks a lot tidier!
Wesley Posted January 4, 2007 Posted January 4, 2007 I have a wide screen monitor which is 1440 by 900. So this is nice. But I think I agree with some others: I like the gap to the right.
Fierce_LiNk Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 Haha, we were all complaining about to the gap at the right at first. But now...it looks weird when the forum is stretched. Long Live The Gap!
Dyson Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 Actually I could use either...the stretched version will do for now though. Also, check out the old C-E themes again, blast from the past much? :P
Eddage Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 God, I can't stand the C-E themes, this one is much better (non stretch version that is)!
