Pauline was the original damsel in distress from Donkey Kong, the arcade and NES game. She was Mario, or Jumpman's first girlfriend from Brooklyn. She's making a reappearance in Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis, in which she will be kidnapped once again by Donkey Kong.

Hah, yeah found that on the first day. Not really a secret though is it? I thought it was funny when they said even the people at Nintendo didn't know about it

It's a headline, European difference probably.

It says that some nintendo workers don't even know about it.

They must be talking about the cleaners.

No, it's Shigsy-san.

"What secret message? TAKE IT DOWN NOW! We must perfect it for several weeks before a release to the general public!"

God bless that man. He's like a younger, Asian Santa Claus.

Does anyone remember, just after the Wii was launched in America, there was a list of 20 or 30 odd things you could do with the Wii that were regarded secrets. I.e do things to some channels, Mii stuff and throwing a bowling ball into somebody else's lane in bowling. Link anyone?

You can actually throw your ball in a lane next to you. Just turn and twist right and it will work out fine. Stand on the side of your lane and rotate to the pther lane. Then throw thye ball high (not roll). It works!

I checked out the secret and, well, I thought it was kind of stupid. They've bein working hard, but it's still incredibly slow - and it's not even that hard to make... Ah well. I'm not buying VC anyway.

You hear laughing too.

There are other things you can do too, such as holding the directional buttons on the warning screen to get different coloured balls in bowling, and holding 2 on the warning screen to get the training court in tennis.

I honestly can't believe more of you didn't find this sooner, it was blatently asking for the click, especially given the rumble when you move the hand over it. I found it on the first day! Besides, it's a crap secret.

We're only 15 hours in, shouldn't we wait for a few more nominees first? :heh:

Technically, it was a post for last year :p

Is there really much point in those headlines/news on the shop channel? I don't really get why they're there..
