With the incredible success of the innovative Wii exclusive software Wii sports, rumours have begun to surface of a possible sequel in development, cram packed full of new and revised features.

 

According to reputable Nintendo site NGC France, reports have surfaced from the official Nintendo of Japan forums with talk of the sequel.

 

Sports ranging from tennis, hockey, volleyball, swimming and horse riding.

 

Online support with players able to go up against other Wii Sports fans from around the world.

 

Stay tuned for updates, hopefully there is some truth in this interesting rumour.

Whether this rumour is true or false there is bound to be a sequel to Wii Sports!

 

Online play is a very strong possibility for the sequel.

What sports would everyone like to be included?

 

Maybe they could do Wii Sports Olympics?...

 

- Javlin

- Swimming

- Hockey

- Volleyball

- Canoeing/White Water Slalom

- Tennis

- Archery

- Clay Pigeon Shooting

- Running/Hurdles

sWiimming i'd imagine to be quite boring if it ever got made into a Wii game. Canoeing sounds like a fun idea using the Wiimote to paddle either side :D

 

i'd like to see Badminton, they have Tennis and Table Tennis so why not this hit-the-cock-with-your-stick sport?

I'd much prefer a proper lot of Mario Sports games. Playing as mario characters is better than playing with rather emotionless miis imo.

Yeah good idea, I couldn't remember many Olympic sports as I was typing it, but Badminton and Table Tennis would be great.

 

Squash is another one! - That could be FAST and Frantic!!

God Nintendo why don't you just saturate the sports genre so there is nothing left for third parties to do.

Sounds like a plan.

 

I know these are mini games, and simplified- and lack brand endorsements- licensed sportsmen and women.

 

But people see value for money in these titles- look how well Super Swing did against Wii Sports in Japan. I want a fully fledged title instead of half assed simplified toss merely existing as a way of justifying the Mii channel (which is the biggest gimmick the Wii has)

Yer squash would be cool, happens to be my favourite sport. Don't know about 4 rackets sports though...

And if there is a sequel, I'll be getting it. Wii sports is an awesome game.

They could incorporate a sex mini game in this particular game, have hundreds of levels with various positions required with satisfaction meters that according to Wii mote gestures, will either go up or down. Thrust forward for traditional IC, make slow rubbing gestures for erotic massage/lick/consuming male and/or female anatomy depending on sexual preferences etc.

I don't think 50 games is a good idea, whilst I would like to see as many disiplines as possible. Not quite this many. I'd mostly like to see refined versions of the current games, more options etc...

 

but the must have for this is surely online modes tho, at first people seemed to think they are to basic but this isn't case I would love to play them all online.

 

as for additionals would like to see:

 

volleyball

table tennis (yes ok in wii play but more and better)

olympic sports- hammer throwing, javelin, discuss,

 

erm thats all I can think of now...

50 games would be too many, you'd never play them all properly. I think it would be much better if you start off with 5, then say every 2 weeks they release another one which you can download for free.
