I said no such thing, but maybe I expressed myself wrong. if a free Linux distro could play the same games as Windows, I would choose Linux because it isn't 200€, obviously. If I weren't a PC gamer, I would probably already be using Linux.

You think I'm against MS? I have no reason to be, the fact is, I wouldn't pay for an OS if another did the same for free. Simply point out where you think I'm wrong.

What possible reason could you have to use Windows if Linux could play games? Why would any OEM pay MS to mass install Windows and make their computer specs justifiable? I can't think of any other major feature in Windows that would make people buy/pirate it (piracy is still good for MS in a way, as it gets people used and indoctrinated on MS products, much like MS giving free shit to Unis so the students grow into proficient .NET programmers). Comparing it to browsers, Firefox has an actual advantage over the others with its community plug ins, a real reason to switch, and that's why its user base is ever growing, even when IE comes built in the OS.

Yeah they might expand later, but I wish they were more serious about it. And the only reason Windows sells like it does is because of the huge gaming geeks that need DirectX and videogames, if a real competitor came up it would be great for everyone (except MS). Grandma asks the retailer to do something about it, whatever is the solution MS comes up with.

Just to clarify something about MS vs EU case, it has nothing to do with other browser developers even if their complains did help to push it forward. MS is in a dominant position in the market and to combat monopoly special measures are needed. About this OS, being just for netbooks is no interest to me and will not compete with any of the big boys. I'm disappointed with the lack of real effort from Google.

It doesn't look better because it has more pixels, it has Anisotropic Filtering and Anti-Aliasing while the N64 blured to hide its problems. HD doesn't affect games the same way as it does movies as it is all rendered and only the texture look prettier if done for it.

It doesn't look better because its HD, it has more AA and AF, the actual resoltion didn't help much, and would help even less if it was a game with more textures instead of bland colours, like Metroid Prime 3.

I only beat Galaxyman on Megaman9 and only reached the third boss on Ikaruga. Megaman is incredebly frustating once you start to get achievements for killing 500 enemies and still haven't beat any of the robot masters. Metal Slug 3 however I didn't have much problem.

But he's missing the point completely! He has literally never played a game like this, its a new benchmark in motion controls with a game developed by Nintendo for several years, with sole purpose to show it off. What's so important about a leaderboard that can be made inside the forum anyway?

Online leaderboards are awesome, specially when the first 10 are jap dudes and I can't make into the top 1000. TBH I feel ever more disheartened with the gaming community, all I ear is complaining and bitching about every small little thing, no one is ever happy

It has no propulsion though, there's newer efficient methods that would easily allow us to colonize the solar system. With 40 years of technological advances its a shame if humanity doesn't give it another try.
