    The irony is that I believe that the people at these protests (low/middle class white factory workers without higher education, and enough money to have a good living not caring for health issues) will probably be the ones to benefit most, and there's another part of the population willing to pay the taxes for them to have a benefit they claim they don't want.

    We understand that this idiots don't represent every American, but the fact that Obama's popularity has been lowering despite doing what over here would be considered populist action (ending war on Iraq, closing Guantanamo, creating a national healthcare system), just shows that something is seriously wrong here, either their education system failed, Obama failed to pass his message, or the media controlled by the opposition is brainwashing the population. Probably a combination of all 3.

    There is such a thing as a mixed economy, which is what we have in Europe. Even the US isn't completely capitalist. I think this attitude its a bit naive of the PM of Japan, at least being so open and confrontational about it, what does Japan really have to gain from this?

    Searched the article and can't find mention to the exact speed. 25 Kbps would take a lot more than 10 hours to transfer 4GB and the fact that it was at 4% with 2 hours of upload means they probably have around 128kb of upload, not at all uncommon. As funny as the idea behind the article is, its completely different things.

    I remember when I used to get hyped by every random Nintendo website on the internet for clamming something absurd... At least it wasn't a blog back then.

    Hope it's good and gets a WiiWare release. Still, I'm holding out until I see something or even play it, I remember the second Rush game was a lot worse than the first just because Sonic team decided to put its hands on it.

    Can anyone tell me a website where I can buy this game from relatively cheap? The one I checked are out of stock, Amazon only ships to UK and Play.com is selling it at 38€, a price a bit to high from what I was expecting to spend.

    Its all about the exposure you get to the language, I played games in english, watched movies in english and the part of the internet I frequent is mostly english. That and a few years of english at school was enough. You guys simply have no use for other languages most of the time so there's no place for you to practice to reach a high level of proficiency. But still, its always good to know a different language as it not only opens up a larger part of the world to you, it also helps you understand the culture behind said language, the way they talk and write it, or the different expressions and proverbs says a lot of that culture as a whole.
