Yeah, I saw that one. Crazy! Missed the Shovel Knight, pacifist Ninja Gaiden and Pokemon Emerald ones though sadly. Need to catch up on those!

Liam Robertson's video is up. Not too detailed (he said that he wouldn't go too indepth yet since it's so soon since the cancellation), but pretty damning for Microsoft. And as rightfully said, their act in deleting all Scalebound videos and traces of it from their website and Youtube channels speaks volumes...

Liam Robertson is hinting at some things he's been hearing about the game's development... Nasty things... TBH, I already knew that Microsoft were meddling in the game's development. Kamiya has actually been public about this in several interviews and has not so subtly hinted that MS have been doing some corporate meddling... Very true and very sad. I can't see Nier being a big success either, as much as I want it to be. Nintendo can't afford to take on all of their projects though. They don't have the kind of money to support a developer as large as Platinum. Very worried about P's future. Of course not, don't be ridiculous. I'm sure that Nintendo are more than happy to work with them. They're the absolute best at what they do and Nintendo have developed a very strong working relationship with them. They also have a similar development philosophy to Nintendo and are exactly the kind of development partner they need. They're gonna be a key partner for Nintendo going forward. But I can't see Nintendo being able to take on all of Platinum's projects. They're just too large a developer for Nintendo to foot the bills for; but with their potential partners outside of Nintendo drying up fast, I reckon they're gonna struggle. Edit: It's confirmed now @Hero\-of\-Time@Serebii http://www.windowscentral.com/xbox-exclusive-scalebound-has-been-canceled Screw you Microsoft! Come on Nintendo! Swoop in, buy the IP and save PG! Edit 2: Liam Robertson is reporting that PG is safe as a partner of Nintendo's, thankfully, so it seems that the problems stem from Microsoft's side...

They definitiely are. They're taking on way too much, but then again, they kind of have to in order to survive... It's a real shame that they've had to work on these crummy Activision licensed titles as of late (and now this weird Cygames project). I'm really worried about them as they're quickly running out of potential partners to work with as these Japanese publishers continuously give up on consoles. If S-E don't call upon them to work on something else after Nier Automata (which, given the lagging sales of FF15, is pretty likely to put them off high budget console game development going forward); they're pretty much entierly reliant on Nintendo to get the chance to work on the kinds of games they want to make going forward (unless maybe if Sony give them a project; can't see any other publisher working with them on a console title).

Iwata made quite a big deal about them wanting to make their future consoles region free during one of his Investor's Q&A sessions a couple of years back, so I actually wouldn't be surprised if they make the Switch's eShop region free like Sony do with their PSN stores...

Oh no... Please say it ain't so... Platinum Games don't need this. Not now. Please don't be true I would jokingly wish for this, but sadly MS own the Scalebound IP... Mind you though, they have sold back IP to their original developers before (like with Press Play), so it's not completely impossible...

On the eve of the Switch announcement (ok, still a few days to go, but SHUT UP!), our good ol' friend Jim Sterling has some stern words for Nintendo regarding the VC release schedule... Can't say I disagree with him much. The drip feed schedule BS has to go with Switch. I can't bear the thought of waiting years for the same games to be re-released again...

Yeah, we were actually making good progress there! Damn shame that the connection decided that it felt like crapping out.

Eh, who needs Ruto to beat Jabu Jabu's Belly anyway? :p Oh dear God... the game is so, so, SO very broken now!
-
$250/€250 is a lock I reckon. The UK price on the other hand... Let's just pray that they're not too rough back there...
-
Pretty sure it's Friday 4AM UK time. It's Thursday in Japan.
-
Same. It's by far the most obviously fitting IP that hasn't been given the Warriors treatment yet.
-
Awww yis! This gonna be good I still can't believe that there's no donation incentive for Pacifist vs Genocide run in Undertale though. Talk about the absolute biggest missed opportunity!
-
I really doubt it'll be more than an hour. Nintendo's live E3 presentations and old live Spaceworld conferences were all around an hour long and the stage floor opens up an hour after the presentation starts, so I don't see any reason to expect it to last longer. An hour is plenty. Don't expect them to go into detail about everything during just the presentation, that's what the Treehouse Live event is for

1UP Studio (formerly known as Brownie Brown - the team that programmed Mother 3) are hinting at having something to show at the Switch event... Oh, BTW, the FB post message roughly translates saying "an interesting year with new stuff coming to the world" I wonder what it could be...
-
Some details about the event itself... http://nintendoeverything.com/kimishima-will-be-presenting-at-nintendo-switch-presentation-2017/ Really does feel like the return of Spaceworld!
-
You guys do realise that it'll almost certainly be Bill Trinen doing the translation voice over, right? Awkward he ain't. Well, this IS Nintendo. If there's anything we can be sure of, it won't be bland (for better or worse).

It's this week!!! We're in the last week now! I can hardly believe it!
-
Cool to see Tomita go freelance, he does some nice tuneskies. BTW, the next stop motion short is out now...
-
I do miss the days of midnight launches, but I can't advocate pre-ordering from anywhere other than Shopto or Amazon (or the Nintendo Store itself I suppose) at this point. They're gonna be the fastest, cheapest and most reliable by far.
-
Ha ha! No way would I be able to do it if you had to Ace every single beat lol! Ace requires 3 frame-link timing (that's the second fastest a game can be, other than 1 frame, and is the equivalent of Super Guarding in Paper Mario TTYD or pulling off the tightest possible combo in Street Fighter V). Hitting notes in Rhythm Heaven Megamix is all 7 frame-link timing outside of getting an Ace; it's harsher than previous games but thankfully you don't need to get Ace in the Perfect Challenge, because that would just be bloody absurd! That being said, some of the stages in the Challenge Train do actually require you to hit most notes within Ace timing for the Don't Get Eaten challenges... I'm looking at you CT Exhibition Match... UGH... Did it though!

The guys's talking nonsense. Miiverse aint going nowhere. In fact, I fully expect the "share" button and the video capturing to be integrated directly into it. Miiverse will be even more important going forward. No relation whatsoever. Miiverse is entirely web based. If Switch has a web browser (and it will), there's no reason not to have Miiverse support built in.

IT IS DONE!!! You must have JavaScript enabled on your device to view Miiverse posts that have been embedded in a website. View post in Miiverse I HAVE FINALLY ESCAPED RHYTHM HELL. AND HAVE ASCENDED TO RHYTHM HEAVEN!!!

A Rayman Rabbids meets Mario RPG and Mario himself doesn't appear in the title of the game?

Fixed that for you.
