If it's plugged in then it's fine. My Dreamcast's clock is set properly even if I haven't used it in ages, but if I unplug it then I have to reset it. So I wouldn't worry about it.

Yeah I woke up to the sound of thunder and it utterly pissing it down, I'm now more annoyed because it's wet and hot. When it's dry and cold I never complain :-p

Well, of course, I was just wondering what to expect.

Has anyone had any dealings with the PC World repairs service? I bought a PC in Dec 03, and it worked well enough for the first 18 months but since then it's been crashing and randomly restarting many times everyday. I was all set to buy a new one when I discovered today that it's still under cover from the extra I paid. I was just wondering how likely it is that it'll actually be fixed. Also theres cracks in the front, so do you think that will affect them coming out to fix it?

I love Soul Calibur aswell. Not sure which is better 1 or 2. I do like using the GC controller more than the dreamcast pad though. Might have to rebuy SCII one day. Recently started playing it on one of the hardest mode, so finally trying to get good at the game. Still think Shenmue is the best Dreamcast game though :-p

Quite a few people had a problem with Cubs crashing when they first bought one. There was a letter about it in NGC and mine didn't work properly either. Had to replace it and the guy in Game said people had been having the same problem.

Isn't there a 'Start up' folder in the all programs part of the Start menu. Drag an application into the folder, then a program starts up when Windows does. Hope that helps.

I agree with what a lot of people have said here, that the Gamecube failed from a sales point of view, but for me personally I've had a lot of fun with GC, the likes of Monkey Ball, Mario Sunshine, Zelda, Pikmin, Viewtiful Joe. I've still got Resident Evil 4 to play. I've owned over 50 games on GC which is even more than I had on PS1 when I used to get games from wherever possible... At the end of the day if I didn't like GC then I wouldn't get another Nintendo console because Nintendo's are the best games on thier own consoles a lot of the time. GC converted me from a Sega fanboy to Nintendo one.

I think you'll find a lot of the time, it's not the same people complaining. In Winter the people that like summer complain in summer the people that prefer it cold complain. At the end of the day we're a nation of complainers. Personally I like it better when its a bit cold. I can wear a coat, wrap up warm and use a big duvet at night, and I don't moan about it when it's cold, cus I can just use central heating or put on more clothes. When it's hot I can still be hot even when wearing just some shorts. I do like summer days but the nights are horrible.

Sonic the Hedgehog on Megadrive. We borrowed the console and games off this guy and he eventually just sold it us. When I get a job I'm going to buy loads of old consoles and games. Mega Drive, N64, and possibly a Saturn. *Dreams*

I think I may get this. Wont be for a few months cus I'm in need of money for a new computer, but I might get it just to tide me over til the Wii is released.

I thought exactly the same thing a couple of months back. I was thinking about all the great Dreamcast games I had to buy, and the list wasn't really that long. Even then most of them are Sega's games.

My friend is a pretty big Placebo fan and she hates it. Personally I've never really listened to much of their music before and I love it.

Another thing I think about 24 aswell is, are you really still thinking 'Shit it's still the same day they started on' by the time you get to episode 24? And a related note, when is season 5 likely to be out on DVD? I haven't watched the show on TV cus it would annoy me having to wait a week to find out what happens.

Most of my arcade game experiences are from Dreamcast. I've never played a game more than I've played Crazy Taxi. I must have wasted hours and hours playing it. I also love Sega Rally 2, even if it is quite hard. Soul Calibur's an arcade game isn't it? Obviously that has to be in this thread if so.

I also completed Luigis Mansion. It was good, although bit short and a bit simple, I still enjoyed it. 7/10

Completely forgot about this thread, so I'll post games from last week. Pikmin- People always talk about its length but that wasn't an issue with me at all. I loved the sense of urgency in the game, rushing to find a part and get as much done in a day as possible because of the time limit. Great game better than the 2nd imo. 9/10 Pikmin 2- I didn't like the whole treasure thing as much as the 1st. Also no time limit meant if you got something wrong you could spend days growing loads of Pikmin. Still great and has a few points over the 1st. 8/10 Super Monkey Ball- I'll never do the master mode but as far as i'm concerned i've completed this game. Expert was a bitch, but I was determined to do it. Can't wait for Monkey Ball on Wii now. 9/10
