  1. Haha! Capcom did not bother having a Windows logo at 1:09! They probably thought "what is the current Windows logo, again? Anyone here know? No? ... Well, let's just write 'Windows'."
  2. Hype Ballon Deflated! I need to stop thinking about this Nintendo Direct now... But I will not.
  3. New Wii U eShop game in development: Armillo http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2013/01/fuzzy_wuzzy_games_is_rolling_armillo_onto_the_wii_u_eshop
  4. One of the best Zelda games! I finally bought the DX version via eBay, owning only the original previously, and I look forward to having an entire evening free, so I can insert it into my GCN-GBP and play undisturbed!
  5. I hope game developers will reach for 60fps rather than going for prettier still images, but I do not expect them to. And while they're on it, they'll say it will have two-screen support! Wait, they have already said that once, seven years ago...
  6. Nintendo Beast Nintendo Gate Wii Revolution
  7. I use a two year old 500GB USB 2.0 Samsung "S2 Portable", without external power supply. So anything you could buy in shops today should work. I use XviD4PSP 6.0 to convert mkv-files into mp4-files readable by the PS3. The program is fast, and I estimate only one of hundred mkv-files fails conversion.
  8. I want to go to this show, but I can't travel to UK in May. They should really do a proper European tour!
  9. I really want this game! But I have way too many games to play now, so I will wait for a sale. But I really look forward to play this game, whenever that may be.
  10. Wii 2 is good enough, but it should be stylized as Wii-power-of-2, with '2' in superscript, to emphasise that it is something truly new. But now, eighteen months later, I have become used to Wii U, and it is really not that bad anymore.
  11. What does the GamePad power save function do? I wonder why it is even there, because it alters the colours, makes yellow more prominent, and cuts of the brightest end of the colour range; just like the 3DS does. I never liked it.
  12. Why does third party accessories so often look like they are props from an Marvel movie? I would buy more third party accessories if they weren't so stupidly unaesthetic! For example, I want a PS3 gamepad with better triggers and better ergonomics than DualShock 3, and so third-party is the only choice – but they all look so Star Trek!
  13. Does there exist any numbers on how download-only eShop games are doing?
  14. My order history contains 206 results! I thought maybe I had ordered 100-120 items, but surely not over 200! (Well, that number is including about maybe 5% cancellations and refunds.) I will miss Play.com from the early 2000s. I used to like them until maybe 2007, when I started using them less. I disliked the fact it was impossible to write to customer support and get a human reply! So in 2012, I only purchased two items from Play. My first order with Play.com: 09 Jul 2002 Order no: 5584035 Item price: £14.99 Party At The Palace (2002) (Region 2 DVD) Sold by: Play.com Dispatched: 11 Jul 2002 Delivery option: Free Delivery That performance by Queen and cast of their musical is just... very disturbing. Good, but disturbing, and strange. But also very entertaining. My most valued item purchased from Play.com: 20 Mar 2003 Order no: 11861058 Item price: £8.99 Dark Side Of The Moon (30th Anniversary dual layer CD / SACD) - Pink Floyd (CD) Sold by: Play.com Dispatched: 04 Apr 2003 Delivery option: Free Delivery I love quality SACDs!!! This one has been played so much on my music system! The 5.1 mix is great! Now I play the 2011 BD release with its 4.0 quad mix more often, but I love both. I love that Pink Floyd finally released Wish You Were Here on 5.1/4.0 BD in 2011 and 5.1 SACD in 2012, that BD is great too! I guess I am saying, I love surround music when done right!
  15. No problem. I did the research myself, and found out. Thank you. I am very tempted to buy Mighty Switch Force: Hyper Drive Edition now! I still have so many games to play on several consoles, so that's what holding me back. A website tracking eShop games and prices would be very useful to me. Since developers/publishers have full control on sales now, including periods and prices, I assume as time go by, it will get increasingly difficult navigate the eShop and notice which games are on sale.
  16. One thing I am sure about: I will stay away from any new consoles the next couple of years. With all the inbound and unannounced consoles now, I will wait to see which of them survives. For now, my Wii U, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, will do. I do need a new PC for many purposes, so I think I will acquire one good enough for PC gaming. And then I am set for a few years!
  17. Where is that quote from? Does there exist a website that list all the eShop-exclusive games on sale for each region and price history for each game?
  18. If that is true, Nintendo actually gives 10 points per £/€ paid less tax, ending up being a little more than 8 points effectively. GBP 10.99 divided by 1.2 (removing the 20% tax) is GBP 9.16. Then I assume Nintendo gave 10 points per pound, and rounded up, and awarded 92 points. Here in Norway, if Nintendo does the calculations the same way, we will not benefit as much, because we have 25% sales tax. We will get exactly 8% back on these coupons.
  19. Well, we should only get 8 points per £/€. You paid EUR 13.49. Multiplied by 8 is 107.92, if my head serves me this evening. You actually got about 5 points more than promised. Edit: My head failed on first attempt. It is 107.92, not 108.92. And you should have only recieved 87 or 88 points. How Nintendo calculate these points, I do not know.
  20. Why did so many people suddenly change their forum name?
