Chaps, I'm after a new MP3 player. Been looking at a few different ones and at the moment the Creative Zen Style M300 is taking my fancy. http://uk.store.creative.com/entertainment-devices-mp3-players/zen-style-m300/948-20615.aspx Anyone have any recommendations? Are the Sony walkman ones any good? what about Sandisk? Only things I'm after are: No apple Small 8GB or more Video not overly needed Creative one up above seems the best match for me at the mo.... Cheers

Premier Sports is basically the GB version of Setanta. You may remember Setanta folded in the UK apart from Northern Ireland. They still operate in ROI and NI (Irish company you see). They have a lot of American sports including NHL playoffs. They also show a premier league game every Saturday at 3pm which is pretty good. Premier Sports basically shows more or less the same schedule as them for England, Scotland and Wales (even on at the same times, perhaps the same feed) apart from the Premier League stuff I think...

I went to the EIHL playoffs in Nottingham at the weekend to cheer on the Belfast Giants. They went out in the Semis to Cardiff Was a great game though. Giants were 3-1 down with 7 minutes to go in the 3rd and pulled it back to 3-3 and took the game to OT. Ended up losing on a penalty shootout. Was horrible. Nottingham destroyed Hull in the other semi 10-3 and then went on to beat Cardiff in the final 2-0 (1 goal empty net). Great weekend of Hockey, just shame about the result. First time I've been to Nottingham too. Had a good couple of nights out on the town! I really thought the Giants would do it after winning the EIHL league with an impressive season of being top since October. Can't win them all I guess. It's all about holding onto players now. Especially the Brits like Murphy, Peacock and Dowd. US Playoffs have some interesting matchups! Excited.

More importantly, who went in goal when Reina got sent off? Hadn't they already made 3 subs? I Missed the 2nd half...... Carrolls dive was stupid. He beat the keeper and just needed to blast it into the net but decided to dive? WTF?

Yeah defo penalty. Ref bottled it. Need to be brave and give those ffs. Luckily for us he didn't. Shakey win, no final ball at all. If we go to City like that we got no chance. Need Arsenal to do us a favour and get a bit more daylight. Need Nani and Cleverly back fit for the run in. Ando too.

Well as long as from now on they keep the same standard then I don't see the problem. Bringing in that kind of policy has to start somewhere and if teams ask for it in the future then they should oblige. If not, then yes it is unfair. It's not that unfair to Bayern though. German FA could do something similar. Lots of countries do this kind of thing for their teams and do a lot of other things too such as a winter break!
-
I've not got a problem with that. Why shouldn't a country look after it's teams? It's about time the FA done something for the English teams in Europe if you ask me.

Don't hold your breath cos aren't GameStop in a bit of trouble? Remember towards the end of last year they had to shut x amounts of stores. I think they pretty much closed nearly all of them in Northern Ireland. The 2 in Belfast defo went. EDIT: Yup, looks like Gamestop are gradually closing all stores to became online only... http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2012-01-24-gamestop-closes-northern-ireland-stores Seems that they had a better plan than Game..

You leave super Jonny Evans alone!

What song(s) are you really into at the moment?!
Platty replied to Aneres11's topic in General Chit Chat
Listen to this at least once a day at the moment.... Probably not everyones cup of tea but it does something to me. Seen The National live twice over the years. Emotional amazingness both times. Love them. -
All I need are cigarettes and alcohol.... I likes my deals at the supermarket. 2 crates for 15 quid is always a bargain when you are hosting a gathering/party/bbq. Screw the Tories! But then, I don't live in a booze Britain type town. London is rather big you see and I don't see my little bit of it turn into a hell hole every Friday and Saturday night. Mind you, Dartford is quite close and is like that. If these new plans can stop twats acting like drunken twats then I'm all for it. But to be honest, twats will be twats.
-
Better get myself down there then.
-
I wonder if/when they do announce that they are closing, will they sell all current stock on the cheap? If so I will step foot in GAME for the first time in years and have a good old bargain hunt!

Beat City next month? K thx.

Yes. It's worth it. -

Incredible and powerful movement. Just seen this myself and started a thread until I realised there was already one! Knew nothing about Kony. Shared all over the place. Embedded for the lazy: -
I currently have the HTC Desire which was on an 18 month contract so I'm pretty used to Android and HTC. Probably going to go with the One X to be honest but willing to switch over to Samsung if the SIII is announced anytime soon.
-
2 tickets to: 6th year in a row. EXCITED.
-
Yeah 32GB is more than enough for me. Leaning towards the One X. The SIII been delayed again. Rumour is that Samsung are going to hold their own conference to showcase the phone end of March. I'm due an upgrade in May so it's looking like the One X unless the SIII is amazing and out May/June time.
-
Did I read rightly that the HTC One X doesn't support SD card? But has like 32GB on board ?
-
CHOICES >_< HTC One X? http://www.htc.com/uk/smartphones/htc-one-x/ OR Samsung Galaxy Nexus? http://www.google.com/nexus/ OR Wait for the Samsung Galaxy SIII? Help me!! >_<

I just hate the way Suarez has kind of tried to make it out like he is the victim. At least he, Liverpool and Kenny have all issued statements apologising today. Still a scumbag as far as I'm concerned.

Well, I like Bale. I like the way he plays, even though he basically does the old hit and run and out pace the defender, I like it and find it exciting to watch. He has scored some good goals for Spurs this season and some important goals at that. I think he deserves the praise, maybe not at the level it has got to but he has certainly come on well since the days of playing at left back and never winning a game in a Spurs shirt. Probably one of the first if not the first name on the team sheet these days. Ignore the Woolwich posse, wouldn't expect anything else from their fans when commenting on a Spurs player.

Although Bale dived early on which was horrible to see, that tackle from Skrtel around 75 mins was a bit off. High and studs showing straight onto his leg? Seen people sent off for that. Parker was immense tonight. Battled hard in both midfield and defence. Joy to watch, great player.
