Woah 3 year contract!! That is mental. I'm not happy with 18 months to be honest but the only 12 month contracts are the simplicity ones where you have to then buy the phone yourself at like £400-£500.... By the way I meant 500mb not 500gb... (edited original post) :P

Heartbreak. Absolutely gutted. Such highs and lows throughout. Great finish to the season with a heartbreaking ending for me and to add salt into the wound I just got back from 5-a-side and think I may have nearly broken my thumb! To be fair City were running away with it and at new year you would never thought United would catch them with their 8 point lead let alone get a 16 point swing. Then once we had that 8 point lead you just thought City had blown it and United would never let that slip. Mental it came down to the 94th minute of the final game of the season to decide. Football. I love it and hate it. We'll get number 20 next year.

COME ON QPR! That is all.

Cheers guys. Went for the HTC One X. The more I read and watched reviews on the S3 the more I disliked the look of it and the Samsung TouchWiz software. I'm used to Sense and I think the One X looks better in my opinion. Yes S3 has a removable battery which is bigger than the One X and it also has SD card support but those were the only things swaying it over the One X for me. To be honest I can live without SD card support. 32 Gig plus cloud space is more than enough and I can transfer stuff with a cable happily. The Battery was the concern but I've been reading a lot on the One X and I think with my general use it will get through the day and I'm happy to charge every night (do that now anyway). The final decider was the cost. The S3 was being priced up with an iPhone 4S and to get a good deal I would have needed to be tied down to a 2 year contract which I wasn't happy about. In the end got the One X on £27 per month 18 month contract with 300 minutes, unlimited texts, 500MB data, £79.99 payment for the phone. (O2 customer). Happy with that.

Yeah I'm still in two minds about what to get. I can get the HTC One X much cheaper and on a better contract but the battery issue concerns me as my Desire annoys the hell out of me with battery as it is. Although what's to say the SIII won't be similar? After all it's got the same size screen and is quad core. It does have a bigger capacity battery though... Gahhhh what to do? Is the One X battery really that bad or am I just reading internet reviews from the minority and infact for every 1 moan about the battery there are hundreds of people who are happy?
-
Okay. So I just sat through and watched the Samsung Galaxy SIII launch. Looks and sounds incredible to be honest. Out on May 29th which is within my upgrade time. Due 5th June but can upgrade early 5th May. NOW what to do??? HTC One X? or Samsung Galaxy SIII? I have the Desire at present so I'm used to HTC and do love it but the battery life worries me on the One X from reviews. Choices choices >_<

I'm pretty happy with Roy. Liverpool nightmare aside he has managed to work wonders with some of the clubs he has been at including International teams. Would have liked 'arry but happy with Roy.

Awful. Absolutely gutted. I can understand the set up and why he went for that. Park man marking Yaya looked like it should work and we were defending quite well, deep at times and parking the bus but doing ok. The issue was when we won the ball we had nothing. Rooney isolated up top on his own. We needed Valencia to be on the wing for the breaks. Was awful to watch United play in such a way. In hindsight Fergie got it wrong. But then he could have gone 4-4-2 and we would have been bossed in midfield. Who knows. Just seemed Citeh were more up for it. Horrible. Flinky, Evans got a knock during Everton game, couldn't shake it. Didn't even train on Saturday with rest of the team. Never thought I would see the day that we missed Super Jonny! Glad he left Rafael out as I'm sure he would have done the usual and got sent off. Terrible performance. Turn of the year when we were 8 points behind City I would have taken the fact we were level on points right now but to create the 16 point swing and go 8 points clear then throw it away is atrocious.

That. Was. Awesome.

So chaps with the HTC X One. How bad is the battery really? Been reading some reviews and battery not sounding good? Basically something along the lines of "the battery is good if you don't want to use any features, but then what's the point of getting a phone that can do so much to hold back due to battery life. Carry a charger with you..." I'm fine with it only lasting a day and having to charge every night but people are reporting not even half a day use when making just a few phone calls, standard amounts of txting, bit of web browsing and some gaming. Any truth in this HTC One X owners?

Waste of leccy if you ask me.

Err he wasn't offside. You can't be offside in your own half.

Football is a results game my man. Deal with it.

Never doubted Torres. Lulz at that interview.... Talk about breaking Ivanovic's heart. "You got booked so you are out of the final" Ivanovic: "what? Am I?" That is how you park the bus and defend with 10 men against Barca. Hats off to Chelski for that one. Good old defend and then hoof through ball. Shame they have no players available for the final....
-
Ha. Terry's explanation.... "I was running and stopped and that is why my knee went up, either that or I ran into the back of him".... Err ok John. The replay shows otherwise. Man up and admit you are a thug and a complete twat.

Played with a HTC One X today. Me wants. Upgrade due next month and it looks like the One X shall be my new phone. Part of me wants to hold on for the Galaxy SIII but I'm rather impatient!

Ched Evans named in the PFA league one team of the year. Wonder if anyone clapped?

Well Ronaldo quite frankly is the man. 54 goals in 50 appearances this season and 140 in 139 appearances for Madrid since he joined. Not bad for a winger...in my mind Ronaldo can be as arrogant as he wants and celebrate how ever he likes and indeed call himself "the man". And before you start, I know Messi's stats are better with 63 goals in 54 appearances. The difference with Barca and Real this year is that most of Barca's goals have come from Messi. They have no one else (sanchez has 11). Whereas Madrid have a Higuain and Benzema with goals in the 20's which is probably why they are top of the league at the minute. Messi and Ronaldo are just ridiculous.

Team GB survived relegation today by pulling off a 5-4 win over Hungary. Managed to find a stream online and watch it. Was a great match with the first 2 periods GB coming back to tie them ending 1st 2-2 and 2nd 4-4. GB needed the win to stay up in Division 1A and they have done it! Good work chaps. Dowd was a star always. Hope he stays at Belfast next season but I'm sure he will get snapped up by one of the top european teams or perhaps even the AHL. We need to push GB hockey in this country and the EIHL to be honest. I reckon there are a lot of fans out there and it just does not get the exposure it deserves in the UK. It will never rival Football but it could get really big if the money and media exposure was there I feel.

The Ched Evans case is a strange one. The jury would have had to have been 100% sure he raped her to make him guilty. If there is any doubt, even 1% doubt in their minds then they have to make him not guilty. From everything I have read I don't know how they could be 100% (I'm well aware that we wont ever hear all the evidence). Looks like the jury wasn't 100% about the other chap? She was drunk but still happy to go back to the hotel with him? if she wasn't happy to go back and was forced back to have sex then why wasn't the other chap sent down too as he was the one that took her to the hotel? Must be more to it evidence wise. Rape is horrible and if the girl clearly felt she was raped and managed to prove it to the jury then I have full faith they made the right decision. I'm more confused how the other chap got off?

Barca tend to destroy teams in general. Only lost 3 games in 63 matches or something stupid. Maybe Chelsea parking the bus wasn't overly exciting but it was the right tactic and got them the result. How many teams have we seen try to be positive and try to outplay them which always backfires? Fergie has tried so many different tactics against them in vain with United. The rolling around on the floor aside I think Chelsea got it spot on tonight. Ok they may have had to ride their luck a few times but credit to them.

GB lost their first game of the IIHF championships to Slovenia 3-2. Shields and Peacock with the goals for GB. If they can somehow win gold in their group they get promoted out of Division 1 to play with the big boys such as USA and Canada next year in the Championship league. Just missed out last time and got Silver if I remember. Probably won't be able to do it now starting with a loss. We'll see. Shame this clashes with the Playoffs as the American and Canadian teams don't usually let a lot of their good players go....

Yep gone down AGAIN. There was a touch but jesus the dive is terrible. Just looking for the penalty on the slightest touch. STOP IT Ashley. >_< Talented player but I hate seeing him or any of our players do that. Sour taste. Scholes is having a great game as is Welbeck and Valencia as always.

Premier Sports (Sky channel 433) are showing Pittsburgh Penguins vs Philadelphia Flyers tonight at 8pm and it's FREEVIEW! Yes FREEVIEW!! Also, the IIHF championships have started with Team GB's first game tonight. Can't seem to find any coverage of it anywhere. Anyone know?
