True. But that's about the only good thing about it. Oh yeah the Boston Tea party 'joke' was pretty funny too.

Really? Why? It certainly wasn't Natalie Portman's acting or the special effects for that matter. I must admitt the film's concept (governement should fear the people, not vice versa), though hardly original, was pretty intriguing.

V for Vendetta 3/10. Though I wasn't expecting much of the film it was actually worse than I would've thought. Too bad.

-Battle Royale II- 3/10 Poor directing, too long, a few nice ideas. -King Kong 2005- 1/10 A 200 milion B movie, an absolute terrible film, avoid at all cost. -Old boy- 8/10 Disturbing Korean film, I quite liked it. -Syriana- 8/10 Politics is a very dirty bussiness. Very good film, though the plot is sometimes hard to follow. May be too confusing for some.

Well not skunk anyway, a little too powerfull for me. I heard some crazy stories from people using it. I only smoke with select group of my friends which is about once a month or so. I started smoking at 16 btw.
-
I smoke it. I either use a waterpipe or, when none available, I will roll a joint. I prefer a waterpipe though, a lot healthier.

Joe Pantoliano (Matrix, Sopranos), Peter Mayhew (chewbacca), Brad Dourif (Lord of the rings), Elijah Wood (Lord of the rings), Robert Englund (Freddy Krueger in 'Nightmare on Elm street', to name a few.

Dunno if it's been posted already but this is a link to the first ever footage/trailer of studio Ghibli's next animated feature 'Gedo Senki', set for to release later this year. Interestingly enough, this new film isn't directed by Hayao Miyazaki but by his son Goro. http://www.catsuka.com/news_detail.php?id=1140663861

Bush doesn't care about the enviroment, he simply doesn't like US dependancy on oil from the middle east. Why? Because only a week ago Iran threatened to raise the oil price if the US or Europe would dare impose sanctions upon the country.

A couple of years ago Microsoft made Nintendo an 27 billion offer and they flat out refused it. So...I'm not giving Cisco any chance at all.
-
Your post is based on the misperception that profit equals succes. It doesn't. GC wasn't nearly as succesful as Nintendo wanted it to be, therefore it's a failure. It doesn't matter Xbox didn't make Microsoft any money: they achieved what they set out to do (gain a foothold in the market), therefore it was a succes. It's as simple as that.
-
Lol, you shouldn't always believe the propaganda that's coming out of Nintendo hq. Nintendo is just a business, that means if some part of Nintendo doesn't turn in enough profit they'll just shut that particulary money drain down and go on further. According to Ninty themselfs the Rev will be considered to be a failure if it doesn't sell any better than GC. By that logic Ninty won't be making consoles if the Rev flops (it may very well happen). That doesn't mean they go out of business altogether though, they'll just cut their losses and focus on the handheld market, which is basickely what they're doing already. For their future in the market, it doesn't really matter if Rev turns in a profit or not. It's more important for Nintendo to expand their user base and the market as a whole.

Is that even a question? Bacon and eggs ofcourse, the breakfast of champions.

Pfft, even if you are right...that's just nitpicking you're doing there mate.

recommend any manga/japanese films?
MonkeyPunch replied to spirited away's topic in General Chit Chat
Before they formed Studio Ghibli, Miyazaki and Takahata were already involved in many anime films/series (check out nausicaa.net for an overview of their works). Although they are hard to find on dvd, many of these films are equally as good as their later works. In the 1970s Miyazaki directed the serie 'Conan: the boy in the future' which I own on DVD (an extremely rare to find DVD, I might add). You can read about the serie and watch the first two episodes here: http://www.highharbor.net/en/ Another pre-Ghibli Miyazaki film I would recommend is 'Lupin the 3rd: Castle of Cagliostro' a lighthearted action/romance film, very underrated. -
No I'm not kidding you. - Alright...the gamer did hit one (and only one) wall accidentally, a mistake which took about a second to correct. But I guess you can do better right? For the rest he/she she played flawlessly. -Swinging Bowser all the way to the explosive device in one go increases the change that you miss. And because of the longer range it would have taken longer to do it in one go. - The gamer obviously exploited a glitch in the game by taking the rabbit through the door, a glitch that may not always work (hence it took a coupple of tries and about 10 seconds).
-
What mistakes? The guy cheated here and there, if that is what you mean. Other than that he made no mistakes, he was extremely fast.
-
Ever wondered how fast you could finish Mario64. Try beating this guy's time! http://www.wimp.com/finishing/ (note: try watching it all, it's pretty amazing).

I probably need not ask but...did you make that costume yourself? If so nice job princess! I would never consider doing cosplay, I find it so embarrasing lol. At least you got the looks to do it.

I really have no problem with one night stands. Well maybe I do, because I had one a couple of years back. I don't think I'll ever be lucky enough to have one again though and I really don't want one again either. The girl fell in love with me and wanted us to have a relationship. I don't know how many times I had to say no to that girl, it got really annoying. After a month or so she finally gave up. I did feel a little bit sorry for her, but hey...she should have know better. So I now prefer the old-fashioned way of dating and getting to know each other first over one nights stands. But if someone wants to try, don't say I didn't warned you!

NGC reveals Zelda TP WILL use rev controls
MonkeyPunch replied to Shaze_Nab's topic in Nintendo Gaming
It's strange NGC is the first to break the news but I have no doubt this is real. The boys at NGC wouldn't just make this kind of thing up. NGC is a respectable magazine, not some unreliable weblog. It's really awsome to hear this.
