new colours at night is a really nice change. It worked ok with bikes (mostly) for a kind of kamakazi rush of pure fear, but it was unplayable in cars IMO. Just too much danger for so little light.

Funnily enough, brain twin, my night was similarly beserk. I just could not get to sleep. Despite being tired, warm, comfortable and otherwise basically primed to sleep that shit up It just wasn't going to happen. Somehow, I got it in to the void between my brain and my body (but at on point discerably either of those exclusively) that my arms and back were really, really itchy. this went on for 3 and a half hours. I gave up on the notion so fickle as rest at around 4 and decamped to the kitchen for a drink which seemed to do the trick on some level and I managed to pass out when I got back. It's totally destroyed my plans for the day though. Fuck.

That's a very limited way to look at it. What you have with GTA is the deepest, finely nuanced and well designed gameworld of all time. It's an artistic triumph that pushed the boundaries of what gaming is capable of in so many areas. Still, you've not played it. You weren't to know:heh: Re: the price. My first reaction was a bit of a coffee spitting knee jerk you WHAT? kind of situation I've thought about it some more though and with that kind of content (new plot, new cast, new radio stations, new missions) what we have here is NOT comparable to your standard DLC offerings. Instead, I'm considering it comparable to the expansion sets associated with Blizzard games (for a popular example) where the main game was released then six months later you got a new cmapaign, a few new units or characters and a new set of maps for half the price. Arcade releases are generally just arcade games and small content releases but we shouldn't consider that it's only capability. This is bigger and more elaborate than anything anyone has ever released on the platform and i think the price will just be a reflection of that.

I'm not a hardcore fan and it appeals to me greatly. I'm just really looking forward to getting my fightpad. I'm now maining with Dhalsim on HDR because he's got the least complex controls so the 360 pad cna fucking deal with him. I wanna expand my lineup but it's just taking the piss when you can't even pull of a dragon punch on command or, even worse, even Guile's commands don't register and they're just basic charge moves. Shocking. I'm not saying I'm a master in waiting but I can already out think the speed at which the 360 pad lets me play. I need something reliable to really put my ideas in motion.

I liked 3rd strike but never loved many characters. I'm actually just really excited to go back to the original line-up (plus extras I know, but I can see myself really going for old favourites instead of them)

For The Knife you want 'Deep Cuts' Hot Chip's best album is The Warning- probably the happiest middleground between their dance and ballad influences. If you like those, just keep looking.

following on from my nod to The Knife, I have to also mention Hot Chip as being really special. Not everyone's cuppa but they're masters of a good beat with soul, originality and intelligent lyrics by the truckload.

well you do go for music most people consider monumentally shalllow on average, and momentary distractions at best. try something abit more cerebral. If you like pop music, try Deep Cuts by The Knife. Fantastic pop tunes with heart, depth and complexity.

is this new? I've (somehow. Forgive me) seen the first two. They're spectacularly average but do feature Kate Beckinsale in very tight leather so most of the films faults can be overlooked.

it's going to be absolutely awesome. I've tried and failed to get in to the series before but now, with a new generation, a proper bit of kit and a new game to get my teeth in to I'm finally set to do it. I'm wondering if the fightpads are as good for other fighters. I wouldn't mind another crack at 3rd strike and VF5

I wish it was possible. There must be a way! trivia fun: the fightpad I just bought is based on the saturn pad- widely regarded as the best console pad for fighters.

I just pre-ordered the game and a pad from amazon for £53 + PnP dunno if that's cheaper, but I don't really trust play to get the game to me on day one any more.
