Does anyone actually enjoy the WW Triforce hunt?
killer kirby replied to Pancake's topic in General Gaming Discussion
I also didn't like how it was basically all the same, I think Nintendo made up for their mistake with Zelda TP by having an interesting castle before encountering Ganondorf. It wasn't the best, but it was still a vast improvement. Look forward to seeing what they pull off in Skyward Sword. -
Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies
killer kirby replied to ndreamer's topic in Nintendo Gaming
One of the things why I think this series is more casual friendly then most RPG, is the fact that you never die. If all your party members die, you go back to where you last saved with all your exp intact but with half your gold gone. I thought back and then and I still do now, it's easily the best series other then some Nintendo franchises, when it comes to allowing casual and hardcore gamers to both enjoy the game. Very few series can do that. But Dragon Quest can, with the simple yet complex battle system, a well told story, a fantastic world it's set in and lovely music. It does not need to rely on graphics or cutscene's to make itself good, it has heart put into it, and you can tell in each of the games. -

They do have the spear, and the abilities thing from DQVIII is still in it, but it's revolved around the job classes now. -
I would be in the same boat, but for some reason it's grown on me :/

I hated tea sooooooo much when I was little. Ever since going on a diet, I have started to get into green tea, the first 2 weeks of drinking it sucked, but after that I got a taste to it and well...during the winter in Australia now I looooove it xD Before the diet, would have had been coffee easily.

Glad your posting a bit here Ike, it seems like a ghost town for me, with the hype of it coming so soon I feel like I am talking to myself on this thread, hence why I don't triple post and such -
......Fanservice overload *Head explodes* It looks fucking epic seeing all the last bosses against different protagonists. Some animation studio should make an anime with that style for each of those Dragon Quest games. I want moar!!! I don't know which one I prefer battle road or the Dragon Quest IX opening animation

Playing Dragon Quest VIII and just realizing that this is truly an overworld perfected in every way. Playing Metroid Prime and getting to planet and seeing the rain drops go onto the visors. And Mario Galaxy...nuff said

Does anyone actually enjoy the WW Triforce hunt?

The 3 MAJOR things I hated about this game was 1.Triforce Hunt 2.Lazy Dungeon designs 3.an empty soulless world Everything else I truly loved, but if Nintendo had fixed those 3 problems Wind Waker could have been something truly amazing. Oh and the HUGE amount of money you had to spend on tingle to decode just one piece of the map was utter shitty and annoying. -
Dragon Quest IV, V, VI: The Zenithia Trilogy
killer kirby replied to immy's topic in Nintendo Gaming
If your well into it then don't bother, just use the ones you have now until you encounter a Golem. I am playing Final Fantasy II (IV) and Dragon Quest III at the moment, both basically tell me that God truly must exist for something this pure and incredible to exist It's only really FFVIII(Don't mind the battle system now, has grown on me, but I still throw up from the shittiest story that competes with Twilight as the shittiest story ever told) FFX and FFXIII All other FF games I am fine with (Truth be told I am looking forward to Agito XIII on the PSP) -

Near that castle you went to as a kid I think if I remember, it's somewhere early in the game when you finally grow up. -
Dragon Quest IV, V, VI: The Zenithia Trilogy

 A Slime Knight is a MUST as it it's good in both physical strength and learns heal very early on, very hepfull for most of the game untiiiiiiiiiiiil a Golem, when you find one, try to recruit one, then equip it with falcon blade and it's all down easy track from then on. Dragon Quest V was the first JRPG with Monster Taming allowing you to use the monsters you just fought so another breakthrough thanks to the Dragon Quest series The length of the game is about the same as IV so you shouldn't have trouble finishing it before IX is out ^_^ But I thought you would like this one...thoughts, you like V or IV more? -
[SPOILERS!!] The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
killer kirby replied to Dante's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Funny fact,Since playing Twilight Princess on the Wii, I can't stand pressing buttons to swing a sword in a Zelda game of the 3D ones, gets so boring. And I hope Nintendo go way full on with motion in all Zelda games from now on with no options for a classic controller. -
You know for once...I am fed up with the gaming public, thanks to most people that never have given Dragon Quest a chance, I and many others will most likely miss out on perhaps what looks to be one of the most funnest games ever on a Wii system *Goes back to the front door and continues to wait for Dragon Quest IX*

This post is the truest of all. Everything is basically Galaxy 1 but just done a lot better, which I thought was impossible.

[SPOILERS!!] The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
killer kirby replied to Dante's topic in Nintendo Gaming
And even then they will not be annoying. Your posts remind me of the days just before TP release and how news came in you had to swing the Wiimote to make Link swing his sword rather then pressing B like it was originally. That little bit of news made so many people on different forums go ape shit insane about how the controllers were going to be awful. -
Happy Birthday!!!
