First of all welcome to the forum And it's been a while since I went online to play SSBB, but I am sure that this thread is alive in kicking. Right here. http://www.n-europe.com/forum/showthread.php?t=19716 I am sure they will be able to help with all your questions on that link I provided ^_^

Who wouldn't go to a convention full of cosplayers like these guys

What makes me laugh at all of this is the fact that if they had any brains they would make a mainline Tales Of game on the PSP rather then the PS3. It has already been shown that a PSP tales game outsold all other Tales games this generation in Japan. And it was a spinoff. Stupid Namco are Stupid

Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies
killer kirby replied to ndreamer's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Well after 22:13 hours and 501 monsters defeated I finally see my first coffin. And I just got the boat (Yes, you may laugh at how slow I am going but these quests are too damn fucking fun to not ignore, I must make sure I can do all I can ) Will post my characters up soon -
I would go to it if there was no sonic there.

What is this? New Mario Bros Wii is what the Mario series needed, 4 players playing together and the pacing of the levels became more and more crazy right to the very end (Did you play the world 8 section? That has to be one of the greatest gaming pleasures I have had since playing Mario Bros 3 world 8 area.) This is IGN, you can't spell ignorant without ign. They most likely know as much as what we know of the game.

And no announcement for a Tales 3DS game? Seems like Namco don't like money.

Dixie was awesome >_< Yeah all the Kongs in the Donkey Kong series were awesome. Oh and IGN have gone to a new height of stupidity. Candy and Cranky Kong have meaning in the first game!? Candy you saved the game. All Cranky did was rant on about the good ol days (Please bring that back Retro) But Funky Kong was VERY important from the get go, needed his plane to go back to other area's again. IGN = fail

Here is something interesting if you have an hour and a half to spare to watch something watched it like 4 months ago, very interesting, yet scary.

Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies
killer kirby replied to ndreamer's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Good thing you have yet to play DQVII, didn't take long for the bosses to go 2 attack. And then post game on that game, special boss does 3 attacks a turn. Man he is a bitch to beat >_< -
/fit/ is the only place I ever go to on 4chan. Motivation is really awesome there

Clever of Pokemon team. Someone:'Oh another pokemon game with even more pokemon growing, won't be long until it's a thousand pokemon in the pokedex.' Pokemon team:'lol wrong, it will never be 1000 pokemon in the pokedex, we shall go into the negatives!!! the next pokemon list shall be from -001 to -150. How do you like that huh!?'

Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies
killer kirby replied to ndreamer's topic in Nintendo Gaming
The quests stay, they never go away. So if you get the game in 2 months go to the store, then you will get all the quests you got from all those weeks ago. But from time to time you can get a special guest in the game, they stay around for a week. And lastly you have items on for sale, those get updated daily, so go online each day to get some good stuff. I think it's once you get to the area where you can change vocation (Classes) -
Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies
killer kirby replied to ndreamer's topic in Nintendo Gaming
I am cheating with the class a bit Basically main character is doing all classes with sword skill and just maxing out the sword very very early in the game almost at 60 points on it It might have be the true reason as to why every place you go to is small, I don't think if you made a game as huge as DQIX it could handle doing what DQ: Joker is doing. Hence why so many islands in the joker game. There is the good and bad with level 5 when they make games, they sometimes go too far with pushing a system that it slows the game down a bit (I mean, the amount of loading in Dragon Quest VIII was huge) Most games I have played of theirs there is usually something bad with the game running, because there is way too much being processed. -

yeah it stays on for a week I believe, but if you update every day online you can go shopping for different items -
[SPOILERS!!] The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
killer kirby replied to Dante's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Screw that, if Nintendo put voice acting in the game, it should be clever, and have all characters speak in gibberish, seriously what they did with midna and her voice was perhaps one the greatest things to happen, having characters speaking in a gibberish language that we don't understand will...well, to me, bring more life to the world then if you just add boring english voice actors. -
Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies

Great read there, with more people hoping onto the Dragon Quest boat, I look forward to seeing more hype in the Dragon Quest X thread when news starts to arise on that game xD I am still playing around just getting different classes when I can, I am looooovng this game, seriously the next boss will most likely be a cake walk. -
Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies
killer kirby replied to ndreamer's topic in Nintendo Gaming
I think so, dragon quest communities went on about how the japanese version allowed you to transfer your save file onto the S-E database and gave the whole community an award and such. Either way...WE GOT A DRESS!!!! xD cosplaying in a game...who would have thought :P -

Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies
killer kirby replied to ndreamer's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Too me the world map is the best it could be on a portable like DQIX, I mean everything ain't small and you don't look like a giant. I am very happy about that. Although no FULL 3D camera is a shame. But I can cope. DQIV,V and VI all have 3D camera's, while this one doesn't have the full rotation of the camera. Get 10 hours in and you will truly understand why you lvl up a lot quicker :awesome: It only goes for like 15 min, I am just happy it's right there from the start, the rest is with the other guys talking about stuff I don't care about lol. Tis growing a lot Thankyou Nintendo xD <3 the banner xD -

Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies
killer kirby replied to ndreamer's topic in Nintendo Gaming
From what I have seen they havn't really taken anything out of the game from the Japanese version, just some of the awful translation of having everything a fucking pun (It's good but they seriously shouldn't have it with every single little thing in the games) And I don't even think they had puff puff in DQIX in the jap version (Although there is an attack still that is puff puff) Basically from what I have seen it for me it feels more mature then that of DQVIII, it's like this game gives me a mix vibe of DQIII, DQVII and DQVIII because just playing this game makes me want to go back to playing those games again EDIT: Just some notes about the game as well .It's odd how the opening overture is in midi format while the Jap version is in orchestrated :/ .Sooooo happy the good ol sound effects of casting spells opening doors and going down stairs is back in this one, bit saddened how it was not in DQVIII >_> .Pop ups are back and they should ALWAYS be pop ups, seriously the pop up makes navigating with items and such so much easier. Thats all for now -
[SPOILERS!!] The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
killer kirby replied to Dante's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Those are the fans that usually don't give a fuck about the timeline, don't complain and bitch about the most stupidest things in a Zelda game and just play the game for what it is... pretty much the only good group of Zelda fans around online me thinks. -
[SPOILERS!!] The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
killer kirby replied to Dante's topic in Nintendo Gaming
So are Sonic and Final Fantasy fans, but funny enough the Zelda series has been the series that have always been well...good from the first game to today.
