I guess the souls of the three races are connected to the masks so you can recall their spirit and 'become' them... which is how you can create a statue of them. The other masks don't have souls/spirits connected to them and are just magic? The people of clocktown saw the moon getting bigger/closer and I think most of them feared that it would fall on the town even if they didn't know for certain. The characters all being based on people he'd met before works just as well if he's dead or dreaming too. Maybe he was dreaming of being dead :p

It would make better sense if Majora's Mask wasn't in the 'Hero is Triumphant' timeline following from Ocarina. Or rather it would be more fitting as we now know there is a timeline extending from Ocarina where Link actually died. Obviously Link would eventually die after the events of Ocarina but for him to be dead in Majora's Mask he would have to have died as a child. In the Majora's Mask timeline, Link defeated Ganon and went back 7 years to live out his childhood with Ganon safely sealed away/executed. I don't think Nintendo would kill this Link as a child. It seems more likely to me that he enters some kind of dream world or alternate reality rather than actually being dead. If Link died as a child, why is Stalfos Link an adult when you meet him in Twilight Princess? There is definitely an argument for the stages of grief being present in Majora's Mask and all of that stuff relating to death but I think it's more a comment on Link's fear of death or coming to terms with his mortality even as the Hero of Time. Basically I think Nintendo went with that theme for a darker and more mature game but I don't think they planned for Link to be dead. Either way, it's a very compelling theory and whether he's dead or not it takes nothing away from how amazing Majora's Mask is.

I'm nearly done and I've done the whole thing in 2D. 3D sucks . At no point have I felt the need to switch to 3D to understand things better... just to alleviate that concern :p

Style Award RFC This was a breakout season for RFC who won the middle league in style. They scored above 3 goals against almost every side and their adaptable midfield meant they could play attacking possesion based football even away from home. A real treat to watch and a team to look out for next season. Player Award Winston Gardens After a slow start the sheer quality of some of the individuals shone through with Winston. Ingham netted 9 goals and earned 4 X11 awards. Thomas and Rosebotham were deadly in midfield with a combined 22 points (shots or assists) coming from that pairing. Joyce provided a solid cool base to move forward for his team and while Coelho is still bedding into the side he earned 2 clean sheets to take into next season. A season truly turned around. I actually forgot this was in day phase again... Does anyone have any info to bring forward that could help us decide on targets for tonight? I failed in my action last night so I don't have anything myself.

Well that's my point, you can't :p the players coming in will play in the position of the player you replace.

@Dr\. bob I feel obligated to tell you that any player you bring on in a different position (e.g playing a forward as a defender) means that player only plays to 60% of his potential performance. If your players have the all-round special quality they will play at 85% of their potential performance unless they're in goal, then it's 60%. Goalkeepers playing in other positions only play to 60% of their potential if they have the all-round quality and less if they don't (I think it's 40%).

For anyone with common sense it's no big deal if people come out. It's not news and I don't see why it should be so publicised even if it's a celebrity. Unfortunately a lot of people don't have common sense or basic human decency so 'coming out' isn't always so easy. Some people feel the need to hide it because of their upbringing or friends or whatever. I don't think the media helps at all when they take a story like this and stick it on the front page. It really shouldn't matter so much. On the other hand, if people out there are in the situation where they feel they have to keep their sexuality hidden, seeing that someone famous has 'come out' could encourage them and show that they're not alone. Although there are plenty of famous people who are already publicly 'out'.

Could be awkward if you're not home and it's left out in the street... I'd love to see this happen though. How crazy would it be to see these things flying around? In a year's time we wouldn't even notice them too...

Got this today and completed the first two worlds after work. It's got the usual charm so far but I hope I'm yet to see the best of the game (as I would expect). It's kind of standard fare at the moment although there have been a couple of moments that have caused a huge grin to slide across my face. I liked the double cherry power-up a lot so I hope there are some more intricate uses of it. I'll be playing it with a friend on Monday so I'm looking forward to seeing how the multiplayer aspect adds to the game.

Tried watching this on Wednesday but the cinema broke. The picture disappeared but we still had sound but then the sound went and the picture came back. They kept saying it'll be just a minute but after 15 minutes my friend and I had to go. We watched it on Thursday instead though and I thought it was good.
