I got into Zelda quite late too, my first experience of it was OoT and what a game that was! For me it set the standard for all other games to match up to, I managed to get hold of the Collectors edition on the cube too which let me see some of what I'd missed. I wish I'd played Zelda when I was younger, it's a fantastic series.

Sword fighting on Revo will be great - no matter what the game. You'll feel fully immersed If TP cant use the FHC then that will just up my anticipation for the Rev Zelda

As I said in the news post, I hope 2 seperate versions aren't released as I'd end up wasting my money on getting both :| I hope they just make the Cube game with FHC capabilities, this is more likely anyway isn't it? Why else would they have delayed the game?

lol! I'd just go along with the people saying to surprise your mum with her. Get her to phone you at 11pm or something and then say to your mum that your friend just missed the last train and needs a place to stay. If she has a heart then she'll let your friend stay over.

Maybe because that's his opinion? I don't like getting excited about games just so I'm not disappointed in any way, I am too excited at TP though but it's Nintendo's fault! They built it up to be the most fantastic game ever and then delayed it for a year! But I do think TP will be an excellent game, at least as good as OoT if not better.

It always shows how immersed you are in a game if you try to look round corners and duck with your character I do it all the time. Nintendo have already tried to make use of this instinct reaction with tilt sensors in Gameboy Games... I agree with Hellfire about this though, Nintendo wouldn't have waited that long to fill out a patent if it was about 3D holograms or projections or whatever, it's probably just a way for the camera to be less annoying when playing platformers (In Mario64 it's always going behind walls or generally facing the wrong way).

lol Getting back to Zelda... What do you think will happen with her? Is she killed or will Link have to save her... What are your thoughts?

Good read, very interesting. I doubt the story will be like that though (sorry). Perhaps Ganons minions kill off the sages and their seal on Ganon is broken and that's how he escapes the sacred realm. Whatever the storyline of TP, I'm sure Nintendo wont disappoint us.

I hope so, I really think it would make for the best game. Also, if Ganon were to come back after WW, then he might even join forces with whoever pulled the sword out of his head and then he would be in possession of the Master Sword!

That's not exactly confirmation mate, he doesn't actually say that Ganon will be the main evil in Zelda. I'm sure he will, well... I hope he will, but there could still be a different boss of the game.

Ah, but who says Ganon is the main evil in TP? again, he defeated the Skull Kid without the sages, he can defeat this evil without their help. If it isn't Ganon anyway, if it is Ganon then it'll we'll be after the Triforce and Master Sword again probably.

Link doesn't need the Triforce or the Master Sword to defeat all evil (I think he'd only need the master sword when against a holder of another piece of the Triforce?), in MM he defeats the skull kid without using the Master Sword and I'd say that the moon coming down on a town is pretty major stuff... Whether he has the Triforce or not, he is still the Hero of Time.

Yeah, I used to be satisfied with that and I still think that it's more likely to be explained that way but even though he's sent to his original form, OoT Young Link is still the Hero of Time.

I like the Link Dies Theory, I think it would be very interesting and I'd prefer Link to die fighting Ganon than to just not show up at all... But I don't think Nintendo would do it, but they've got to explain his absence somehow and in a way that doesn't disappoint anyone. A thought has just come to me though.. We already know that this is a new Link, so maybe the evil we fight in TP is the evil that killed the Hero of Time (or if the Hero of Time isn't killed then it'd just be the evil that he never turned up to fight because Eastenders was on) and to stop the evil we have to work with the Gods to flood Hyrule. I'm sure someone will come along and say that this is impossible (or I might realise something myself :P) but I've only just thought of this and I think it's plausible even if it's not true (probably isn't).

If it doesn't isn't a Rev title (I don't think it will be) or doesn't make use of the FHC (I'm hoping it will) then why the hell have Nintendo delayed it by a whole year? They were already saying it will take over 100 hours to complete last Christmas so surely they were nearly done or at least had an idea of when they'd finish - they could have told us then if it would've been delayed but it seems like they just thought of using the FHC so delayed it.

It's already been said that this is a new Link (it was mentioned in an E3 video, but can't be bothered to get a link) and also that it takes place sometime after OoT but before WW, 50 years I think? Something like that... [edit] You were talking about Zelda Revolution and not TP, sorry :P

It's not been out as long on Cube as it has been on the others, that's probably why. You could try and find second hand games, you could probably get TS3 for about £15, maybe less.

Just completed Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask Not got all the masks yet but I'm gonna do that now it's finished great ending. [edit] AAARGH bastards! I just completed the ocean spider house to get the giant's wallet that's needed to get the last mask I need, I went to clocktown to get 500 rupees and decided to save the game just in case... I left the town and went about chopping bushes and I had 473 and the game crashed! I thought 'oh well, at least I saved the game so all I need to do is get 500 rupees' but it cancelled my last save and now I have to do the damn house again!
