They look pretty nice, but obviously fan made.

Yes, Miyamoto and Iwata have both said that they would like to change the way consoles are played, that they would like to play without having a TV. But I don't think anyone, anywhere has said that the Rev will play without a TV have they? He seems to have just made that up and passed it off as fact without giving evidence of where he got the confirmation from. It would of course be fantastic if this turned out to be true but I don't think it is. Maybe for the console after the Rev or the one after that, but right now it's too soon for something like this.
-
My brother saw them late last year, he said they were very good.
-
Well if you could plug a keyboard in, you could always get a keyboard that you can plug a mouse into - would that work? Not exactly confirmed though so we may not even be getting a web browser for the Rev.
-
Yeah, I'd prefer to have the choice between standing the Revo up and having it flat.. I'd rather have it flat down even though standing it would take up less room, but if it turns out that the stand is needed then it could be worse really. edit - replying to the post below here rather than posting yet again :P I'm quite bored so I'm just on here 24hrs a day hehe: The Revo we've seen so far isn't the final version as Nintendo have said, so they could very easily change it so the stand can be a power supply. Though, the more I think about it, the less likely I think it will be.
-
Didn't Nintendo say that you wouldn't need to stand the Rev up though so you wouldn't need the stand... Maybe that's changed then. no stand...
-
Exactly. Also, there's an infinite amount of internet games that use the mouse and we'd be able to use the Revo controller for those too

Zelda: Twilight Princess Discussion (SPOILERS: BEWARE)
The Peeps replied to EchoDesiato's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Link dying would be very different and original and it would be a great twist. It could happen, but it doesn't have to. In the wind waker they said the hero didn't return, that doesn't mean he died - he might have just travelled to a very far away land and lived a quiet and peaceful life or something. I'd still like to see Link defeating Ganon or a great evil by sacrificing his own life though. -
The title has been changed, it didn't have the '(not really)' in it before.
-
I don't think this is real, it doesn't really seem that practical.
-
This is why smoking should be banned altogether really. It's a terrible addiction and even when you feel yourself getting sicker and sicker you wont stop until you die.
-
Yeah I think Nintendo will be making this game forwards compatible too. It seems like the smartest idea to me.

I hope it's April, I can't wait for this game! Even April is too far away though... -
MPs vote on cameras to placed inside people's homes

Yeah, I don't really see any major problems with it. They'll only look into things if you've got a criminal record or something and although it's not going to stop all terrorism, it will still do some good. -
Yes.. Mr_Odwin is correct... *shifty eyes*

I'd hardly call it a subliminal message as you can see it quite clearly, subliminal messages can only be picked up by your sub-conscious so you don't even know about them. This is just the word Revolution in the background, interesting though because why would Nintendo put it there? To indicate Revolution and DS link up, or just that Revolution will also use WiFi, or maybe just that WiFi is another revolution that Nintendo are offering to us.
-
Doesn't mean it's definately going to be called Revolution just because there's a logo for it, but it still could be.
-
No. Obviously the people who are so hyped that they can only be contained in a small cupboard whilst wearing a straight-jacket will get disappointed but they always are. As long as all we're hoping for is a new way to play and some very innovative games then we wont be disappointed. Personally I think this control scheme may change gaming like the jump from 2d to 3d, but I'm not basing all my hope on that. Nintendo have always made good games and I'm sure they, if no one else, will make games that use the controller to the extent of it's erm.. controllerness. Other companies seem to be really excited about it too though. So I'm sure we've got something to look forward to.

Zelda: Twilight Princess Discussion (SPOILERS: BEWARE)

I read it but I've forgotten it haha! I'll just go back and skim read... -
Quite funny, badgers are great Nintendo had better make a toaster part of one of their consoles soon or else! We've waited too long for a console that offers both great gameplay and golden brown toast.

Well it wasn't in Majora's Mask, so it could be that Nintendo have left it out of this game too. It's explained in WW that the triforce of power was kept with Ganon in the sacred realm, the triforce of wisdom was split up and so was the triforce of courage that Link has to find in the Great Sea. The Hero of Time lost/gave up his triforce once Ganon had been destroyed and probably gave it to the royal family and they scattered it, or he did it himself. It's possible that the TP Link may find the triforce but it's more likely that it isn't included in the story. In WW it basically says that the last holder of the triforce of courage was the Hero of Time. -
That's fair enough, but you should at least try the Rev controller out and see what you think.

Is it illegal to use a fake gun to control a computer game in your own home? Are you that self-conscious that you think people would actually mock you for doing that? If you know anyone who would do that then I feel very sorry for you.
