haha that gamer zombie video was ridiculous (watching the video now)
-
The controller is great, basically an xbox controller - which in turn is very similar to a gamecube pad... I'm concerned about the right stick being above the buttons rather than below them though. Might be awkward.
-
Just fiinished work, where can I see the video? :p
-
Also I cannot log in to the front page with my forum login And I'm about to look anyway but is there a way to have the old theme back so the forum is on the left? It is so wrong in the middle lol
-
Sexy redesign but when viewing the forum on my phone I have to login every time I visit, even if I tick 'remember me'
-
This will be a more basic mafia in that the only real theme is town vs mafia. I would really like at least 16 players before starting, more would be awesome and less would suck balls. Players: Aqui1a Cube Dannyboy-the-Dane Diageo DuD EEVILMURRAY gmac Jimbob Marcamillian mr-paul Nintendohnut ReZourceman Rummy Tales Yvonne

I need to quit my job. Depends how long this lasts but I'll miss most of it. Awesome that the official news will be starting early though. I have a feeling this is going to be an amazing e3 for Nintendo... which means one of two things: either it will be an amazing e3 for Nintendo... or it will be an epic embarrassment.

So is anyone else ready or should I start mine?

Xpert 11 Season 23: The highlight of the Summer
The Peeps replied to Haden's topic in General Chit Chat
Good point, I've included them now. Slipped my mind. You can cut down the quote to include the actual paragraph you wanted to refer to btw :p Yeah I traded my input for a more accurate account of the game really. It's hard to keep both. Before I would generalise and say 'team 1 had many chances and are attacking strong' or whatever, but this way I have an account of each chance made. It's more formal I suppose. -
Ridiculous amounts of money, like over £100 probably. We don't keep all of our tips where I work, some of it is distributed to the kitchen staff and the cleaners - but obviously the waiting staff keep most of it.

Xpert 11 Season 23: The highlight of the Summer
The Peeps replied to Haden's topic in General Chit Chat
N-Euro Middle League Season Twenty Three: The Summer Scorcher The Middle League is looking similar to how it was two seasons ago with The Sixty-Fourthers, Leeds and Rising Phoenix all back after a short stay in the Elite league. Dysonian Wanderers are no more and Emo Blades have been relegated to the lower league after two seasons of inactivity. Staple teams of the Middle League, Seahawks FC and Real Peeps remain, as do Aqui1a All Stars and Winston Gardens both avoiding relegation in their first season in the middle League – though All Stars have been here previously. New to the middle league and enjoying their first time here are Yellow Submarine and Dragooooo. Dragooooo have been battling it out in the lower league for a couple of seasons while Yellow Submarine imitated Winston Gardens and were promoted after their very first season. AC Elites are technically newcomers but to their manager, the middle league is merely a stepping stone on the way back to former glory. Round One ***Yellow Submarine vs The Sixty-Fourthers*** New plays old in the first game of the new season in a tough drawing for Yellow Submarine who face Sixty-Fourthers who won the middle league during their last stay here two seasons ago. The game kicks off and Yellow Submarine are first on the offensive as Jon Lilywhite aims for goal with a precise header which was no problem for Sixty-Fourther’s keeper. Sixty-Fourthers retaliate but the ball goes out of play for a corner kick which is taken by Amer Kurdi. The ball finds Evstathios Panadopolos who scores in the 19th minute from a header! Amer Kurdi tries for a goal of his own two minutes later but is denied by the keeper. In the 30th minute, Panadopoplos takes another shot which flies wide and soon after, Irving Beasley takes a chance for Yellow Submarine but shoots high above the goal. In the 41st minute Soheil Qadir scores from a header but the goal is disallowed due to a hand ball. Half Time score: Yellow Submarine 0-1 The Sixty-Fourthers In the second half, Yellow Submarine are once again first to attack with a low shot coming from Irving Beasley which makes It past the keeper! Once again though, the goal is disallowed due to a hand ball! Irving Beasley tries again in the 55th minute but the ball goes out of play for a goal kick. Still not deterred, Beasley again manages to slip through Sixty-Fourther’s defence for another attempt in the 62nd minute but misses the goal by a metre. Towards the end of the game, Sixty-Fourthers were trying their best to draw out the time which resulted in Evstathios Panadopolos being red-carded for time wasting! Now a player down, Sixty-Fourthers acted fast to stop Submarine’s chances and injure Irving Beasley who is replaced by Kit Cougar in the 88th minute. In the 91st minute Kit Randall Ling makes a final play, crossing the ball to Cougar who heads it in for a last minute equaliser! Final Score: Yellow Submarine 1-1 The Sixty-Fourthers ****AC Elites vs Rising Phoenix**** Elites start the game off in excellent form as Rory Richards takes a chance in the first minute with a diving header on goal which is tapped over the bar by the keeper. 27 minutes in and Elite’s midfielder Evert-Jan Strijbosch takes an injury and is substituted by Lesley Patty. Elites retaliate 10 minutes later by heavily injuring Paul Crossley of Rising Phoenix who is replaced by Kingsley Parsons but no freekick was issued. Half Time Score: AC Elites 0-0 Rising Phoenix Phoenix make an early substitution in the second half, replacing Stan Kingston up front with Darren Bolam. AC Elites are also forced to make a substitution after Max Freund is slightly injured, Dermott Bendle takes his place. In the 56th minute Rising Phoenix have a chance with a freekick taken by Max Hendry which is aimed at Kingsley Parsons who heads the ball towards the goal and scores! Rising Phoenix kept possession in their own half for most of the remaining time, leaving both teams unable to make any further attempts on goal for the rest of the game. Final Score: AC Elites 0-1 Rising Phoenix *****Winston Gardens FC vs Aqui1a All Stars***** The game kicks off and Archie Rosebotham of Winston Gardens is instantly issued a yellow card for a hand ball but are soon after awarded a freekick which Elroy Goodison narrowly misses. In the 16th minute, Rosebotham redeems himself after taking a side-footed shot on goal and scoring. All Stars’ Roupen Cherezian hits back in the 22nd minute with a header on goal which lands nowhere close. Half Time Score: Winston Gardens 1-0 Aqui1a All Stars Bradley Thomas starts things off again for Winston Gardens in the second half by scoring from a header in the 52nd minute. Two more freekicks are awarded to Winston Gardens in the 77th and 82nd minutes but Goodison fails to score from either of them. Winston Gardens get one more attempt on goal in the 90th minute as Magnus Ahnfeldt - who came on for Elroy Goodison in the 85th minute, takes a shot on goal which is easily handled by the keeper. Final Score: Winston Gardens 2-0 Aqui1a All Stars ***Seahawks FC vs Real Peeps*** Real Peeps are first to break through as Don Martland takes a powerful shot from a distance in the 18th minute which narrowly misses. Cappi Lucci of Seahawks FC hits back in the 24th minute but the ball goes out of play for a goal kick. In the 30th minute Matt Scorpios gets another chance for Seahawks and takes a powerful shot on goal from which he scores! Real Peeps are awarded a freekick in the 38th minute which is taken by Derrick Birch but it gets saved by the keeper. In the 42nd minute Don Martland has another shot on goal but it goes straight into the keeper’s arms. The ball is kicked out to Cappi Lucci who attempts to score, but the shot is saved by Real Peeps new signing, Michael J Caboose. Redmond Phelan gets a final attempt on goal for Real Peeps before the half time whistle blows but his shot hits the post! Half Time Score: Seahawks FC 1-0 Real Peeps Ernst Heinzmann suffers an injury in the second half, forcing Real Peeps to replace him with Cletus Blessed. At the same time, Seahawks swap Javi Etxeberria out for Christiano Aragón. In the 63rd minute Derrick Birch gets a yellow card for elbowing which results in Cappi Lucci leaving the pitch with injuries and being replaced by Amoldo Tito. Tyko Benzelius attempts to settle the score for Seahawks and is yellow carded for brutal play but the damage is done and Don Martland is stretched off the pitch and Jimmy Exton takes his place for Real Peeps. In the 75th minute Dominic Gilli takes a well-placed shot, reminding the teams that they should be playing football, but the ball brushes the outside of the post. In the 90th minute Jeremias Ríos gets a final chance at scoring for Seahawks but puts it wide of the goal. Final Score: Seahawks FC 1-0 Real Peeps ***Leeds M.O.T vs Dragooooo**** The game is barely underway before Monty Garner of Leeds is yellow carded for dangerous play which results in Leonard Van Brakei of Dragooooo being replaced by Graciano Velho due to injury. In the 29th minute, Dragooooo are awarded a freekick which is taken by Daan Wielink but he misses the goal by a hair’s breadth. Dragooooo make another play in the 38th minute which sees Albertino Peseiro set up Thijs Feskens who headers the ball and scores! Half Time Score Leeds M.O.T 0-1 Dragooooo Dragooooo keep up their offense in the second half and Thijs Feskens gets a chance in the 47th minute and he tries to lob the ball over the keeper with great success! Unfortunately the goal is disallowed due to Feskens being offside. In the 51st minute Leeds M.O.T finally get a chance on goal as Dylaan Haag takes a shot which falls just centimetres wide of the goal. A few minutes later, Viquardinho Berger has a chance with a flick header on goal which misses. Berger tries again in the 58th minute, placing the ball to the right of the keeper and the shot stays on target, hitting the corner of the net! With the scores now level, Dragooooo get on the offensive again and Ernesto Lacopino takes a shot which flies just inches above the crossbar. In the 71st minute Leeds are awarded a freekick which is taken by Elton Monkhouse but it’s warded off by the keeper. In the 75th minute, Leeds go ahead after a goal is scored by Jonny Normlund. Both teams make some late substitutions but Leeds keep their attack flowing as Viquardinho Berger has another attempt on goal in the 86th minute… and he scores! Final Score Leeds M.O.T 3-1 Dragooooo Most Important Result: Yellow Submarine 1-1 The Sixty-Fourthers, Sixty-Fourthers are a strong and experienced team but Submarine held them to a draw this round which may only give them one point but at the end of the season it may be the point that makes the difference between safety and relegation. Manager of the Round: Dan-Likes-Trees, Winston Gardens FC, Dan earned 5 stars for his tactics this round which helped his team beat All Stars 2-0, locking them down to only 1 chance in the game while Gardens managed 6. Best Player: Viquardinho Berger, Leeds M.O.T, Berger made the most waves in his match this round against Dragooooo, scoring two goals for the team and making many of the chances. Standings: Tried a new format/style. Do you guys prefer it this way or the old way? I basically watched each game and commentated each chance and some of the events. Potential for some very long reports for some games where there are a lot of chances lol. I think this way is more accurate but a bit more long-winded and less... personal? Would like some feedback please :p -
Today I made £27 in tips from 6 hours work but the best thing was the comments I got from customers. I was covering 3 sections as well as running food to others while the rest of the staff were slightly slacking tbh; a customer on one of my tables actually asked if I was the only one working lol. When I left, I let them know someone else would be looking after them for the rest of their meal and they stopped me to give me a tip. I treat customers the same even if I know they're not going to tip. There's a lot of pressure on us to always deliver the best service possible, we have brand standards to keep up with and mystery shoppers who know the service steps we need to cover (though we know they come every 3 weeks so we know when to be extra good :p). It's good for customers but it's a lot of pressure on us when you serve hundreds of people per day which is why people tip in the first place I guess. If we're serving so many people and manage to make that one table feel like they're getting complete attention, they will tip. The downside is when something goes wrong we have to smile like a mug and offer them free stuff - although by dealing with problems well we could still get a decent tip even if we end up having to refund their bill or whatever. Although I'd probably feel quite different if I was being underpaid and tips were more of a source of income for me than they are right now.

Have you set your default sound/communications devices? When I plug my usb headset in, it automatically makes that the default sound/communication device but I can change it back to have speaker playback as well as have my headset working. For example, I can plug my headset in USB and speakers in the audio jacks and have Ventrilo (communications software) running so I can hear speech through the headset while still being able to play music or whatever through my speakers. Right click your volume control and go to playback devices, right click your speakers/headphones and set whichever as the default sound device. Does that help in any way?

Lego batman and indiana jones didn't really pique my interest but I loved Lego Star Wars and I'm excited for this one too. Hope we don't have to wait too long for it!

I think a 2-1 late winner for Intergalactico, Madpool scoring first in the 27th minute -
No, I killed mr-paul in the night but they extended the game for suspense reasons and to make me shit myself.

Awesome game but don't scare me like that!
