  1. I saw Shorty's 'but', it was the 'don't' i missed I miss words when im tired...
  2. 4 Player co-op? Sold! Im buying it tomorrow, screw Guitar Hero's overpriced-ness (for now) BTW, not using NumbDiagram for Live anymore, the free trial ran out so tomorrow i stop cheaping out and buy a 12 month sub
  3. Interesting that Shino and The Fish automatically assumed Mike-Zim was being racist, I really am ashamed Im not going to try and justify our governments decisions on europe, it would be pointless. A lot better informed people have debated it and most of them have decided the Euro was a bad idea, that is good enough for me Resistance? Great Britain was a Scottish idea in the first place! :p Scotland will do what its always done, play the clever political game. Seems to have worked better than rebelling every 50 years or so, then being re-conquered  Oh, btw did anyone else notice that its the 300th anniversary of our great nation 3 weeks tomorrow?
  4. If you could plug the nunchuck into the bottom of that thing it would be useful, the Motion Sensor, Tilt Sensor + 2 Analogue Sticks would sort put the control problems
  5. Probs gonna be that, the game is still £35+ though so im expecting it to fall in price soon. Its the only big 360 title that i cant find for under £30 (excluding Guitar Hero) I play the Crackdown Demo WAY too much, tis probably my 3rd most played game lol Just watched the Halo 3 vids. ME WANT!!!
  6. I liken the Euro to a living in a hotel, you're well looked after but if you want to paint the walls you're a bit stuffed So far the current "being part of the EU but not part of the Euro" strategy seems to be working quite well, we reap more of the benefits without as many drawbacks When that happens we move to the Euro, at which point the benefits will be greater and it will be easier to implement politically
  7. QFT Saw em live last year and they were ace. Lagwagon was better though, im still in pain!
  8. Im thinking about canceling my Guitar Hero II order, Foxy.co.uk are messing around. They charged me twice, havent dispatched the order yet (made a week ago) and wont answer my emails. Im giving them until tomorrow because its too late to buy something else today Got to decide between Guitar Hero II, Crackdown, Viva Pinatta, Hitman: Blood Money, Fight Night: Round 3 Marvel: Ultimate Alliance and Earth Defence Force 2017
  9. Microsoft have been trying to figure that one out sinse launch
  10. I just level up anyway, the world levels with you to maintain the challenge. Besides, you get new skills at certain levels (i.e. Journeyman of Marksman can zoom in) and these help keep the player with an advantage. My main character for example is level 14 and yet can sneak up on just about anything in the game and dispatch it with 1 shot. Master of Sneak ignores Armour and ranged damage is x3 when sneaking. Should be a Journeyman of Marksman soon so will get Zoom too making killing stuff off even easier oh god please!
  11. Lagwagon at the Birmingham Barfly tomorrow night, cant wait! Support is pretty good too, Young Guns and Captain Everything
  12. Like Xbox Live but on PC, allowing cross-platform gaming. So far its got 360 owners annoyed because the keyboard + mouse setup of the PC is far more accurate in shooting games and PC owners annoyed because they'll have to pay a sub to play certain games online from now on. Basically, its not one of Microsofts best ideas. If we get dedicated servers out of the deal then its not so bad but i doubt that'll happen
  13. Just been reading about this, are Microsoft being serious? No keyboard + mouse support on the 360 because it will "unbalance" games and yet they're quite happy to launch Live on Windows and start making cross-platform games? (Shadownrun) Hopefully something good comes out of it (dedicated servers?) but right now im not all that happy
  14. Am i the only one that likes the MSN feature? All i need now is UK Video Marketplace and a web browser and my laptop becomes pretty redundant
  15. Any news on pricing? Got the feeling GHII is going to turn out to be very expensive Pack 1&3 look good What tracks would people like to see added? I want: Through the Fire and the Flames - Dragonforce The Hives are the Law, You are Crime - The Hives Little Girl - Death From Above 1979 Plug In Baby - Muse Girl Not Grey - AFI Clones - Ash Cochise - Audioslave Been Training Dogs - The Cooper Temple Clause Walking Contradiction - Green Day I'll Find You - Hundred Reasons
  16. afaik headshots work, i seem to be able to drop enemies with 1 shot to the head or 2 to the body you could also try leveling up you're sneak, if you're sneaking then you're shots do 3x damage!
  17. Thank you Cranston Print Works! Just created a US Live account, checking out the marketplace now
  18. been hoping for those updates! Low power download mode was a must and Live Messenger is going to save me even more power (no more laptop on at the same time as the 360!) I thought the 360 supported keyboards for text input?
  19. or if it had to be from those 4 then Futurama
  20. I doubt we'll see any more of Eternal Darkness. Silicon Knights are unlikely to release it as a Nintendo exclusive and Nintendo are unlikely to part with their portion of the rights. Only way i can see it is if Microsoft buy Silicon Knights, in this case Nintendo would sell them the rights that they own
  21. Its also an illusion that devs look at hardware sales. They dont care how many units of a console have sold, they care how healthy the game sales are. A developer will look at competing games, the platforms they were released on and how many sales they got on each platform. The DS is a good example of this, the dev support is good but it doesnt exactly steal AAA titles from other formats. It goes its own way and gets its own brand of AAA titles. Wii isnt away to get AAA games like Assassin's Creed and Mass Effect, GTA4 is a possibility though. This is pretty much Nintendo's fault for putting a line in the sand and asking its gamers if they want gameplay or graphics, if they gave us both then you're statement would ring true.
  22. Does the BT Home Hub keep logs? I know on my router i can get a print-out of what ip addresses were connected when, that might solve you're query. Oh, and upgrade to WPA or WPA-PSK. Its much more secure and oretty much garauntees that no students are stealing you're bandwidth
  23. Did you bridge the connections? Not sure how to do it in Vista, i bought the 360 wireless adaptor before i upgraded. Could you move the BT Home Hub to the 360? That would solve you're problem completely
  24. I realised after posting that mentioning either of those was a bit dumb, but theres no need to get personal about it No, you're right there. But they are both fruit. Some people like Oranges and some like Apples. The structure of the fruit is irrelevant. Im tired so i'll put this point across as quickly as possible. It worked for the music market. Read up on SA-CD, DVD-A, why both formats failed and the rise of iTunes. Bear in mind that when the iTunes service first launched only 85% of internet users had speeds below 128kb/s (i.e. they were mostly on dialup) Im not saying HD-DVD and Blu-Ray will die as easily as SA-CD and DVD-A, they're far more viable formats with much more hype surrounding them. Even so, 5 years down the line i can't see them being anything more than a niche What can i say, i have my own view of where technology is going and optical disks arent in it. Im not alone either, theres a lot of stuff on the net comparing HD-DVD to Blu-Ray and looking at how sustainable services over the net are. Most of them are better reasoned that you're "Im right so you are a moron" temper tantrums though. By any chance did you just spend £400 on a Blu Ray or HD-DVD player?
