UK said on MSN that he had other accounts. Im pretty sure theres no new members at the moment, Shorty turned off registration the same night UK was banned (after a rumour of a return visit from 3rdChildren, Booker et all). EDIT: Yup, registration has been disabled. Just tested it

Hang on, wasn't this whole RPG discussion started because people were saying the 360 has no variety in it's games? I think it's been proved it does now, so thats that little nit-pick over. I can tell this is going to go round in circles. Can't we just accept that this forum is basically in 2 pieces: those who are waiting for the great games to appear (Wii owners) and those who decided not to wait (360 owners, also those who own more than one console)?

Ah, i did suspect that might be the case. Right then, back goes Mass Effect So was i, slowly getting over it now though. Got to think rationally... ...now where can i steal me some money?

Im divided between Too Human and Mass Effect at the moment, i don't know why but i've got the distinct impression that Mass Effect could get quite lonely (it doesn't have co-op right?). Too Human on the other hand intrigues me and has 4 player co-op Mass Effect will no doubt be higher rated but it looks like a game i'll never bother to finish. I really want to be proved wrong though

So you've played it then? Or am i right in my assumption that you run off hear-say for 360 games but blindly ignore it when it come to Wii games?

I will point out to you that there are only 10 Wii games with review scores higher than Blue Dragon (2 of them NFL games). It was hardly a terrible game, just nothing amazingly special. Did you play through Blue Dragon, or are you just assuming it's not worth playing based on what other people say? If it's the latter then exactly what Wii games are you playing? Reviewers aren't exactly loving most of the titles on Wii...

I've just been on gameplay to look at the upcoming game releases, i knew it was bad but i didn't realise it would be this bad! 26/10/07 - Virtua Fighter 5 - The Witcher 02/11/07 - Naruto 09/11/07 - Call Of Duty 4 - Gears Of War 16/11/07 - Assassin's Creed - Crysis - Unreal Tournament III 23/11/07 - Mass Effect - Guitar Hero III - Kane And Lynch: Dead Men At the very least it's gonna read something like this: 02/11/07 - Naruto 09/11/07 - Call Of Duty 4 16/11/07 - Assassin's Creed - Crysis - Unreal Tournament III 23/11/07 - Mass Effect The 16th November is gonna be a killer, theres no way im not buying any of those 3 games! Im pretty sure most reviews i've read say it isn't the worst, hardly the best either though. Picture quality is fine but it lacks options like slow, zoom etc. One bonus it has over Gen 1 HD DVD players is the loading times, they are almost non-existant on 360 wheras some early players took a while to load parts of the special features, menus etc.

And i really hope it does work out, because so far most of you seem to have bought a Wii in the hope of lots of good games appearing for it rather than for the games that have already been released Realising that fact was ultimately why i sold my Wii. Sod the fanboyism, i went where the games are now. I can always get a Wii if/when the tide turns. Metroid Prime 3 definitely takes my fancy, as does Smash Bros, Fire Emblem, and probably some Wii games i haven't heard about.

Because, some people believe that if enough casual gamers buy the Wii and the Wii makes a lot of money then that will automatically equate to developers porting games like Assassin's Creed. Who knows whether this is true or not yet, personally i doubt it though. You'd practically be starting again from the ground up with a Wii version. I personally hope Nintendo can get 3rd party exclusives, stuff like Skies of Arcadia. That'd have me buying a Wii, not Wii Sports, Wii Play, Brain Training and all of those shallow games that get boring after 1/2 hour

I seem to have been misunderstood. My fear is that if the Wii succeeds and Microsoft and Sony try to replicate that success it will mean disaster for the industry. It's quite an easy way to make profit, but 3rd party developers would suffer greatly, the Wii's user base don't exactly buy a lot of games. Anyway, it's unlikely to happen. The Xbox 360 is selling strong, has good software sales and very good 3rd party support. Odds on this will continue and at worst only Sony will try to follow Nintendo EDIT: Why do people keep harping on about innovation on the Wii? So far there hasn't been a great deal, just a lot of fumbling about trying to find something, other than party games, that that controller is good at (Metroid Prime 3 being the only true exception, probably Mario Galaxy too)

Just to back up Mikey here: Oblivion, Blue Dragon, Eternal Sonata, Two Worlds, Mass Effect. The 360 has a pretty good line up of RPGs. Also, what do you mean "the lackluster effort that is Blue Dragon"? Ever played it? Right now the best selection of high quality titles falls to the 360. What the future holds, who knows? I must say though, i hope the Wii slows down soon. What the fanboys fail to realise is that the Wii's success could be very detrimental to the industry as a whole, the only company making any real money from it is Nintendo.

Shower. Don't take baths any more It's faster, more hygienic, gets you cleaner and uses less water. Also more comfortable (imo)

Sorry guys, but i have to infract you for these 2 comments: Before anyone moans about not being allowed to argue, it's the language thats the problem, not the falling out. This argument isn't carrying on in this thread, if it does i'll start infracting for spam

Will skip on Hellgate then, too many other great games due this christmas to mess around with anything sub-85%
