Graphics are nice, but they dont convince me to play certain games. For the current Wii graphics, its the first wave in the entire consoles life. Wii sports doesnt need good graphics, its got its charm and its not the message its trying to get across. Red steel is awesome for the wii, 2nd best graphics out of the current wii games. But back ontopic, graphics dont matter depending on genre for me. Horror games are a genre that relies heavily on graphics. Like come on, your playing a game such as Resident evil 4, then all of a sudden the original Cyber demon for doom 2 appears. Instead of crapping your pants, you laugh. Racing sims such as GT need good graphics. It doesnt feel as refreshing unless the environment looks real, the terrain effects look good etc. Sports titles too, if they were still done in the sense of retro games still, good graphics wont be needed. But fifa and pro-evo have evolved so much you can see the players. Its not really needed, but its still another sense of immersion. Also, graphics do count if the game does infact look awful. What I mean by awful is that you cant really see whats going on, such as Resi evil on the DS. As for me, give me a good ol rpg with next to no graphics (yep, i even play text based) and im fine. Graphics dont mean much to me. Its just eye candy.

The game is awesome. Im seriously confused about the hate for it. Its in no way awkward, I've played quite a few FPS games (usually for an hour or so because I dont own them, my friends do), Red steel is one of the most accurate and enticing titles and im glad I bought it. Ok, so you have the random loss of pointer, but that takes 2 seconds to get back. By uncommon, I mean its happend to me twice and i've played this game for a total of 4 hours I believe. Ah well, I love this game. Its just awesome.

Whats that gotta do with Nintendo having a succesful launch? Also, you dont NEED one. If you feel like you NEED one, just die now. You can live perfectly fine without one, just be patient.

Just got pro rank on Tennis. =S Didnt get any notice on my wii message board about it, nothing seems to have changed. Pfft, useless.

Its all business folks. The initial shipment should be small, along with the fastest selling console status, the hunger for the Wii grows as its all sold out. And when its sold out, people think its amazing and parents start to think 'If I got my kid one, they'd be so happy for christmas/birthday etc'. While its sold out the advertising gets a boost. Every one wants one, starts registering their interest by pre-ordering the next batch, people say how excited they are to peers and family and they start to get curious. How many times have you heard about a console selling out? All the time. And you'l notice the company brag about it, like now Nintendo saying they've sold 105,000 which is no doubt close to the entire shipment. Also, Zechs does have a point too. If there were tons, it'd take up space in stores and if the demand for that certain store is significantly lower than supply, thats one retailer branch saying it hasnt achieved potential. It is a succesful launch. Im repeating this not because one or two are saying it isnt cause loads of people didnt get one, but many more im expecting to say it.

Nintendo arent responsible for retailers. The stock shortages arent NOE's fault (wow, im defending them), obviously they wernt given many so they can fulfill shipments in NOA which they promised to ship 1 million before the end of the year, whilst here we dont know what the entire european shipment number originally was. So therefore im starting to think this shortage was a confusion between retailers. It is a sweet start no matter who got one or not. They sold 100,000+ and their happy they got their money.

Meh, now all we need is the UK shipment number to compare how well the Wii sold over all. It was only to be expected the Wii got this title due to the amount of pre-orders retailers were taking in.

I dont like this idea. Although I do like the idea for extra Mii clothes etc, Mii's arent suited for Animal crossing. I love the original art style for AC, and the style Mii's are done in doesnt match.

Wii bowling is really strange, i've tried twisting my wrists in different direction, does nothing to the spin. It seems it only decides the spin by which side you bowl from and when you release the ball. Thats how I twist the ball. The CD drive is really loud randomly for some games, when I put my hand on the top of my Wii, I can feel the rumbling. Any one else experienced this?

Wii sports and Super monkey ball's Hammer throw mini game gives me ouchies..

Just plain awesome. Most played game for me today.

Went awesome. 3rd in line, went swiftly (except from the somewhat faulty chip and pin machine), had my wii within 5 minutes of entering the store. Thing was, most of the staff 'forgot' they had to subtract the deposit from the total ammount spent, I made sure they took mine off, wankers. Over all, awesome.

Help bar is indeed a problem. If your character spins around in a frenzy, your games sensitivity maybe too high. Go to options, and select a lower sensitivty option, that sorted the problem out for me. Just cleared the first mission. Its alright. The character models are messy like said but everything else looks fine. It takes quite a bit of time to get used too, and the difficulty is very high I must admit (or im very very shite). But to counter this difficulty, if you stand in the same place for a while, your entire health is healed. This is quite a good balance as the enemy AI will chase to your exact location so it is difficult to find a spot. I played mission one and a little beyond. The sword training came up and I must admit its alright. Sure your actions dont translate exactly onto screen, but who cares? Your still succesfully swinging the sword. Current score: 7/10. Havent seen much to judge on this, spent 25 minutes on it.

Havent played it yet, but my bro isnt too used to the controls yet. Practice makes perfect.. I'l add my views later.

Amazing game. Like many reviews have said, some of the mini games are shit and pointles. Also, the interface bugs me aswell. The few minigames that are worth playing and the main game itself is worth the whole price. Music's kinda annoying, but I can stand it. I turn my controller volume down when ever I play due to the noises coming from that game being irritating beyond belief. This game uses the Wii-mote for everything in this game. Although a good thing and shows the features it posseses are not put to waste, it gets rather annoying using some features in odd places. I'd rather use the pointer for the interface rather twist my hand to an un-natural place. 8/10, missing 2 because they spent too much time on crafting shit mini games that they didnt add enough depth into the good ones.

Those are low key stores that get next to nothing due to them not being specialists in video games etc. I've been on the phone to game for my brothers sake, my town's game says "No need to pre-order, we've got a box full of every game so theres plenty to go around" And yes, that includes wii play. Dont go shouting around everything as if its fact, as its obviously not. Now, we both stop bickering? Yes? Good.
