Where have these rumours come from that Far Cry will have online player? n.Revolution seem to think from somewhere that it will have, in their online section at the back they even say something like "can't wait to own you all at far cry online"? know this is made by a different development time, but does it have any of the same issues as Red Steel?

Right just a few bits i picked up from work...if you ordered from HMV they will ring you either way, but prepare to be upset at missing out, the store I work in are 3rd best on games sales at the moment and we have taken 56 preorders last time i checked and we were expected to get about 50, but are getting just 25! but we are expected to get plenty in time for xmas, with shipments expected weekly ala USA.

SD question here. Does the Wii recognize folders on SD cards, just was thinking having images in one folder, music in another, does it recognize this or is it better just all bunged on together.

Am I right in thinking if Amazon have sold out of an item (or their allocations of them) they stop taking preorders? So for instance they have stopped taking orders on Monkey Ball, remotes and nunchuks? but not on Zelda so guessing they still have plenty of Zelda to sell? I preordered mine on the day I ordered the Wii, just don't wanna not have Zelda come day one!

Castle of Illusion, or it's sequel World of Illusion which had an awesome co-op mode. they were really good games, the last great disney game? (or were aladdin and lion king after this?)

I'd say yes and no. someone correct me if I'm wrong but the Wii can only detect a certain amount of wiimotes at once.bluetooth is limited in how many devices it can connect to at once. so you could have 4 player if you had 4 cube controllers and 4 wiimotes/classic controller (depending on format)

My excitement has written fever pitch now, I simply cannot wait. But at the same time it is dulled by the fact that I'm a student so keep thinking maybe I can't afford to buy it, but I've thought sod it get some money out of the savings account! As for what to do until then....simply put essays, got a mammoth one in for the 7th December (talk about good timing) What time I do have for gaming is taken up with Football Manager 2007 (PC) and XIII on the xbox (please ubisoft bring us another game in this style!)

i used to have a collection that big but had to sell so many cos I was skint, now i mostly just have 1st party titles...

totally pointless, doesn't even look good in a PC browser. Looks pretty naff infact, can't even be bothered to put in the effort to do it. I however will change my opinion if it becomes a means of getting america VC games....

I don't see this as a problem, I bet the case was the same with the DS it is word of mouth that will sell the Wii. Also greater adverts when it is actually realised.

yeah i'm hoping the reason alot of quality multiplayers have been held back is for my idea I discussed before Virtual Console Versus (seriously dunno where I get them from) with leaderboards etc... mario kart online, streetfighter, Bomberman (SNES version), even Mario races across the single player levels?

I doubt they'd be getting them that early, I do wonder when they will get them though, at work we usually get games on the Wednesday before, just wondering, surely thats the latest Amazon could get them to get them posted out in time for first class delivery orderers! Wonder if games etc... will turn up earlier, they always seem to in shops in the US tis odd that... ah well only 2 weeks today!!!!

wondered why it had changed, its a crap magazine though, the only thing I like it for is the retro magazine inside, you don't really learn much from the previews they have some ok features aswell- in this issue you get "Have you Heard?" finding out what people know about the Wii. Ngamer gets my thumbs up for the DVD, but to be honest, its pretty poor aswell, EDGE and Games TM are the only mags I buy often, but the internet does kinda put you off wasting money on them.
