I see tons of dummy boxes coming to work that never make it into stores and they always have all kinda typos, number of players wrong, age ratings wrong, mis spelt words,common case aswell, wrong boxes ticked off for functionality on back of old xbox boxes. whilst I will admit this is quite different it does show its possible.

yeah i never did like revolution it was too much of a prototype name...wii is far more memorable. it surely has to go down as one of the oddest console names though?

no you havn't missed anything, we can only buy 2000 points cards in Europe and US, different increments are only out in jp although you can buy different amounts on the wii shop

finally saw the wii sports advert in between Hollyoaks and the Channel 4 News, it was the last advert before the news, so hopefully the more high brow person who watches channel 4's politically orientated news will have caught it if they turned on early...

I'm taking about gamespot live video when they physically had the machine and were playing it, saying it looked good and people were sending in live questions asking what it looked like and they said it was fine.

I know I was only kidding I can't see this being the case though, hardly fits in with the wii being for everybody, yeah you buy our console at £179 cheaper than other consoles but you've got to buy an expensive HDTV to play half the games...

I'm not kissing arse at all, and I've seen plenty of pics of people playing on HDTV's without component cables, gamespot live when they got theirs were playing on a HDTV with the cables out of the box...

one tip mate, no matter how much you want Red Steel I don't think it is worth buying a HDTV over.

it's only a small start, but it could be these small tentative steps that help wiiconnect 24 move on and become a great network....

this is a minor worry compared to those of us with HDTV's who wouldnt be able to play it at all...without a costly upgrade of tv

yawn didn't even need to read any of the threads, just the title and the thread starter did it for me. couldn't agree with you any more yoshiking... So cos there aren't composite cables at launch, and people will have to put up with an SD picture for less than a month, OMG its gonna be a DISASTER! ARGH! If your that bothered about HD go buy a 360! in fact go abandon the Wii completely and go out and buy yourself a 360 now... and I don't think stores do have significantly reduced stock levels, just that demand is higher than expected and I think retailers over estimated how many they would be getting at launch when the real figures would be how many they'd be getting by xmas.

if ubisoft do this, all I can say is own goal, with bad reviews (even though I am one of the people considering getting it despite this) if they do this, then its gonna further limit who will buy it...

it has to be a mistake why would a none HD console require this, whilst it would be annoying I could understand it happening with a 360 game but not a wii game

exactly, considering even holding on till far cry comes out before deciding, even though the graphics look like dog turd, I just hope they can spruce them up abit and add online functions... it is really hard tho cos FPS' are one of fav genres.
