well this weeks episode on BBC was truly a real mind f""k. Cannot believe the big villan is Mr. Petrelli and the Linderman thing was explained...I was beginning to wonder how they would explain that as they confirmed in Heroes Unmasked that he was dead. The whole synthetic powers thing is getting very interesting and a good contrast in the heroes vs villians angle...

Just played the demo again...Cannot believe how different this feels to everything else. Like I said though can only afford Resistance 2 and LBP so this will have to wait, unless something else gives....

I am actually not feeling Fallout quite yet! I loved the early stuff in the vault...loved the flash through time at the beginning of the game, it was really well executed and I loved how managing to stay spoiler free helped the impression it left as a gaming experience. I am totally bought into the story and the characters (who the hell does the voice of your Dad? really niggling me) But progress is so hard and slow I am finding it a bit daunting but I'm going to stick at it, I know it will get better with time. I found it frustrating that after reaching megaton I couldn't do a lot of things because my skill levels weren't high enough. I couldn't fix leaks I couldn't pick certain locks, I couldn't even tamper with the bomb, megatons fate will have to wait for another day. I found myself being good but then needed to do a few bad things to suit my needs. At the end of the day I am not going to let people stand in my way when it comes to finding dad so if that means doing bad things then so be it... One slight bug with the PS3 version as well, is everytime someone signs into PSN off your friend list a message comes up to let you know, on every other game it is unintrusive, yet in this the game stops for a few seconds and it gets really annoying, I think I may play the game logged out of PSN if this problem persists. I still love the game, just the pace after leaving the vault and the lack of progress in side quests aside from the main quest. I will return to megaton once my skills are up high enough to do some things.

Fantastic game from the demo. If you are having shooter fatigue, it won't matter with this game as it really isn't a shooter. The genre definition of FPS doesn't really fit this game. Edge said it would work if it's Fast Paced Stunts though. The first person view makes the game feeling so fresh and new, if it was a third person game it really wouldn't feel as invigorating as it does. My only problem now is when to get it. With Little Big Planet and Resistance 2 my only preordered games for this year as money is tightish I think this will have to join Dead Space as game for next year.

Damn still waiting for the post...I think I may go out in the hope it arrives whilst I am out...this wait is killing me...

One big question does the wireless now let you use WPA? Big advantage PSP now has for me. I'm gonna hold to the UK release whenever that is....

You can guarantee they won't print it...I have sent numerous letters having a pop at the way they treat video games (my last was their mis quoting of the byron report) they instead choose to simply post the letters agreeing with them...

To be honest I think they perhaps did go too far, when we effectively pay their wages they can't be seen to be going things as offensive as this. The BBC is after all a public service. However I think everything that has happened and the level of coverage it has gotten is way over the top. I've been in Paris this week and it made the news there! But thats they era we live in where celebrities only have to sneeze and it overtakes world issues. I think it is ridiculous that there only 2 quotes made at the time and now thousands have flocked in (bet a high percentage are Daily Mail readers) and made it far bigger an issue.

Yeah it's laughable. Yet he tries to turn the media round and make out Spurs is a dream job he has always aspired to... No I don't think I would. The problem is the fashion in which he left...When he was offered the Newcastle job earlier in the year he said he didn't want to move to another club and he loved Portsmouth far to much. He said he planned to retire at the club and signed a new contract until 2011 saying that was him sorted. It is clear the Newcastle job wasn't quite the job he wanted, yet he now gets the job he wants and expects us just accept him swanning off. It's annoying how much he keeps bigging up his achievements, but there a common view amongest Pompey fans that he thought he was bigger than the club. Yes he big things for us, but he should stop blowing his own trumpet so much. Yes there is a sense that he perhaps took us as far as he could, but its still no excuse for the contempt he has treated us with. I also think the media's reaction to it sucks. They are all saying good on Harry for taking the chance and that we should be grateful for the good times and wish him well. Talk Sport (Wrighty and whoever is on with him) even went as far to say if we now crash and burn and get relegated we can still look back at the good times. It's almost as if we should accept we were only a Premiership team because of Harry and just accept we belong in the lower divisions... Trust me my views are a lot more restrained than some, I've taken a lot of flack off fans on pompey online and kinda fallen out with one of the blokes I watched the cup final with as he has become an anti-harry extremist... Agree with all that and also the way he left overnight and the week before he was set to recieve the freedom of the city. I will be forever grateful for the 3 great days he gave us; Championship Winners, Great Escape (never forget dancing on the Wigan Pitch), FA Cup Winners. But I will never forget how he twice left us in the lurch.

well I have mine connected using WPA2 (as have no option, owing to my dads work network setup) and aside from the odd disconnect problem it works ok...

If the other games are anything to go by you will feel very connected to the story with any luck.

Glad to hear Left 4 Dead isn't too good, I am gutted it's not coming to PS3 but reassuring to hear how poor it is...I think R2's co-op in the beta is stellar. EDIT IGN's review is up. I've strayed away from the review as don't want spoil the single player....so here is summary off metacritic...

dammit...my regular copy hasn't turned up today...I am gutted first ever time GAME havn't got a game to me the day before. Just got back from Paris, expecting it to be here, the post was here but no fallout 3 :( and as if to rub it in I get a leaflet in the post from GAME telling me about the great special edtions I can get if I preorder!!!!
