I am going to trade in my wii GH 3 and end up getting this at some point. Just have one question... I simply cannot fit the drumkit in at the moment, not a chance so will be getting the guitar solo pack, however (somewhat at Cooky's suggestion!) I want a mic for my girlfriend so she can sing along, can you buy the mic solus? or does any USB mic, or finally will singstar mics/rock band mics work? (not sure how far all the cross game peripherals will go)

Personally for me I feel PSN is really pushing the digitial distribution to the next level. They offer games on both Blu Ray and if possible download, they are trying different things, rather than the very predictable that XBLM has become, although XNA could change that I admit. I think it is telling that a 3rd party game in Burnout Paradise came to PSN as a download and shows the faith developers clearly have in the playstation store as a distribution service. I agree with you to some extent about the controller I do prefer the 360 controller, but for me the lure of MGS4, LBP and the then exclusive final fantasy plus all the internal talent Sony has (look at wipeout for proof of this!) proved to be far more of a lure than any xbox 360 exclusives... but like you said we have different opinions and both seem to be able to respect that : peace:

Exactly there are a ton of good PS3 games and PSN is fast becoming THE place in my opinion for downloadables...

But then OoT included such lyrics and was simply removed from future copies...and whatever the other game they used as an example...Guess though Zack and Wiki and CoD4 both had similar problems and the content was simply removed. Also some people already have the game so it simply be patched on theirs anyway...wheres the censorship on that? It's still going to be there on some copies already in circulation... I can understand them wanting to not offend. But I do find all this offensive material being culled a bit too much, I think very odd...It seems anything can offend people from some walk of life different to our own (of course even in this microcosm that is n-e we are all from different walks of life) I just hope they get it sorted and the game hits with no repercussions on the sales or reputation of the title or media molecule

So when is it coming out? Some sites reporting the UK will get it on 31st others say 14th November. I still don't get why they can't mandatory patch it out of the first print of discs and then not put it on the future prints of the disc. It makes little if any sense. Especially when they have said the patch will be out and ready on launch day for those who may get a recalled version. A worldwide recall for such a big title is no small thing, they are going to have to be busy getting the numbers of discs in circulation up high enough.

You have to wonder how the hell it did happen. But then again if they just picked a song and there are only 2 lines in the whole song it looks more like sneaky songmakers chucking it in how could they ever have been expected to know? Why oh why couldn't they have just patched it and removed it from subsequent prints of the disc? It sucks but guess thats the way its going to happen...sigh... EDIT; can understand why they would find it offensive...pop songs and all their beautiful women etc... and the indulgence in celebrity materialism etc...all things about the West that is hated....

Got this off game so looks like its slightly delayed... What a cock up, especially seem as some people already have it... at least gives me longer to complete bioshock, but if its majorly delayed runs the risk of clashing with other games...

The thing is if its the week of a firmware update we never get a good update....noticed Warhawk has gone down to £14.99 may be one to get early next year. Other than SOCOM US store isn't that good, did anyone look at JPN? EDIT; WTF?!!! H-o-T just read your post that is BS, cannot believe it.

I've been wondering...does anyone know when the PSP adhoc to PS3 update is due? Did they give any indication. For those who don't know basically lets you play any adhoc wireless PSP game online via the PS3's infrastructure mode...
