yeah good thing with it is you can still get EXP in single player that will still benefit you in multiplayer...

Did anyone get round to playing Holy Bastian, was a french level, so none of the text made sense but had a horror theme and was amazing, so much stuff about it made me buzz...that was the last level I played on the beta...great way to end a lovely little demo

bummer we have to wait an extra week for Resistance 2 I thought it was 21st...thinking of getting GoW for trip to france over half term...only £12.99 from play.com Brilliant news about the PSP firmware...also pretty good new additions to the PS3 firmware as well...

It's one thing if they are going to remake the series and reboot it and have new people taking on the roles but its totally another having the others in the film and written out... Also the guys rumoured to be in the film are middle aged themselves so the passing the torch doesn't really work as they aren't young upstarts...

hmmm if there was such a firewall wouldn't that block me playing football manager live on my PC? as managed to play that fine... EDIT; Also why would it just start doing this now when its never been a problem before?

Can't really say for sure, its his post mortem today, so when I am back in at work will likely find out tomorrow. There is a theory doing the rounds but the police weren't so sure about it. I feel for the poor woman on waking nights the police were questioning her for 2 hours. Yeah more so ever the emotional support I have to provide as part of my job role will be even more important. We are not conditioned for shocks like this and it so hard to handle. I guess the one thing I can bring is when I lost my sister earlier this year at least I have my own very personal grief to draw on there. Whilst also trying to be a rock for the students despite how sad I feel for the kid and his family... I'm sure people who have ever written very personal things on here, you wonder why the heck you are doing it. But we all spend so much time "together" it only feels right to share experiences with each other etc.... but still there is that moment, thankfully people's messages are always so warm and it makes you realise why you did it and why communities such as this can be so great...

I wonder how much they will improve things for the wii, as they are set to include classic controls so will they just have the pointer controls the same as last time around...and rest on their laurels.

Right wondering if anyone can help me, the last couple of nights I have had majorly annoying problems with my PS3 online. Let me explain my set up...Virgin Media VIP package (so the highest speed and bandwidth I can get in my area), have my wireless running on a belkin router using WPA. What seems to happen is I can usually (although not always) sign into PSN and get games started, even send messages and stuff and download off the Playstation Store, but when it comes to playing games I often get kicked out, the other night was online everything was fine until I tried to join cookyman in freeburn on Burnout. Similar happened yesterday with Wipeout, could not connect to the servers but was on PSN. I have also had problems with it hanging and crashing however these have mostly been with LBP so not sure how much this is down to the beta, I am able to play others levels but it goes mental when I try to play with others. I checked the signal strength and it was really low. I have reset all my router settings and everything, re done the settings on my PS3 and the signal strength has gone up, but it still seem to do it from time to time. I have the problem that we live with my parents so no able to have the wired connection, as all my possessions are in my room...so until me and my girlfriend can afford to move out we are stuck in....Is there anyway to optimise my wireless connection further?

I think perhaps its a bit of both, Hiro's betrayal made him bitter and then 400 years of shit has built upon this. If he hadn't been betrayed he may have been more life affirming and thought there were other ways to save mankind...

there is but it makes the story rewind I think the dog has to be sacraficed... any actual scenes help with getting the more obscure trophies would be great if anyone knows...

shit mate, sorry to hear that. It sounds like such a tragedy, sounds like he had plenty going for him and seemingly no reason to do it. Suicide is often talked about as being the cowards way out but I don't think that is the case. There are obviously some form of psychological problems that cause someboy to reach this mind set that they are going to go as far to kill themselves. Unfortunately there is no real way to tell as I think even people who have such thoughts and seek help aren't quite at the point where they actually do it so even thoughts they are feeling can't be the same as at that point where someone is actually about to die. Even people who survive a suicide attempt I don't feel would have quite the same view on it. It's a wierd concept to understand I guess...

It does, as upset as I am about it, I know its nothing compared to these students..especially the ones who have been with him since he started for the last 3 years and they simple don't know how to articulate the emotions they are experiencing.

A student died at work on friday night. For those who don't know I work at a residential college for young adults who have learning difficulties and a variety of disabilities.So this is hard not only do I have to deal with my own grief but also that of all our students, stayed behind for ages at work just trying to console them. When they were all gathered and told it was one of the most horrible experiences of my life, they just don't know how to control these emotions. Makes you think about life and stuff...
