I picked up the handheld version instead. I just found it will ran to slow on PC for my liking. The 3D match engine seemed poorly implemented and even the 2D engine seems like it has more lag on it. So what's the handheld version like? Well its solid enough. It contains the core gameplay of the PC versions distilled down to a more immediate pace. Thats not to say it lacks depth though. The 2D match engine included for the first time works pretty well...It has the odd glitch which will remind people of the first time it came to the PC games but it still helps to drag you in.... Playings as Portsmouth finished 15th in first season but now I am in 4th after 10 games.

It's hardly surprising after the relatively lacklutsre and under utilised GC-GBA link up. Still would like to see more Wii-DS connectivity shenanigans though.

ok cheers....I'll give the windows version a try. I guess the major thing that concerns me about the linux that is on netbooks is often called lite and reviews on sites such as amazon say it is really limiting in what can be installed and what can't. A bit of concern tbh.

Will that software let me get podcasts etc...thats one of my main uses for the ipod so is a big thing... EDIT; Plus how does it go about purchased songs, a lot of my music collection is bought off itunes...

I guess in theory it is easy as long as Nintendo have thought about it. Your purchases are tied to your account in some bizarre fashion. I remember when my Wii broke I had to go through and link my account and then do an update before I could view my update. I had to do things in that order which seemed wierd but at first it seemed like they were all lost as linking my account made no difference so rang them and they said to search for another update even though I was already on the latest firmware and it would then let me go back and redownload and low and behold they were right. I have been unsure about this game recently thinking perhaps I have been there done that with the whole Animal Crossing thing. But now I am thinking it will make a welcome change from the ton of shooters etc... I now find myself playing... Still stand by my comments about WiiSpeak though and am just going to get the game solo, so unless I feel I am really missing out on something and want to get more from the experience I will not be picking it up.

Cannot wait,really gonna get into the online. Even considering rushing the story on easy not something i have done before.. but I've heard the enemies still have that annoying tendency to shoot at you before they can even see you, so you come round a corner and are already getting plastered with fire, something that made even normal pretty tough in Fall of Man.

OMG that looks stunning will defo be checking it out later... It takes ages to make a level period, I think its hard to guage how much time to spend and whether the product is good at the end of it.

See I'm not bothered about the lack of CD drive...as buy a lot of my music on itunes anyway... I do like the idea of Linux being so fast to boot up etc...but annoying that it won't run itunes. Glad its a good system though hmmm right sounds like a big thing to do for one program, then I always run the risk of getting problems everytime itunes is updated... Think I will pay the price for windows...annoying though that this is the way to do it!

Well played this last night for the first time since LBP came out...got to rivet city as part of the survival guide missions, but also found out some stuff about my dad and what he is up to, fantastic that it happens incidentally. Can I now skip a mission that three dog set me?

I need a portable cheap laptop...and don't have much money so a netbook seems to be the perfect solution for me... I'm looking at this one; http://www.netbooks.uk.com/product.php/asus_eee_pc_900_8.9_inch_netbook namely because it can have windows on it. As I from my googling, itunes won't work on linux? Is this correct? Does the version of windows come as a full package? personally for me...it isn't. I loved the first Crash but then other titles soon overtook the franchise as better platformers.

Loved you Eldorado level. If I could get that to that standard I would be very very happy! I loved the text and stuff... My next level is a more comedy based level, inspired by a popular sitcom, I will reveal more as it grows... Also working on a guided tour of paris! I recently went there and want to try something different. I think I will leave the normal platforming for now and try and improve my skills in different ways for levels where it's not the focal point. Please everyone play flameboy's burning hot and heart the level and me!

yeah I have tried to do the business and get the first version of my level up published! Annoying! Please everyone play it...its not that great, and there are a lot of crude ways I have done things but it has 2 endings a good one and a bad one...so please try them out, tag it and heart it and me (I want the trophies! )

Yeah seen the capcom store and knew it was coming....it would be nice if SF2 HD remix came with it...so have to wait and see what happens.
