Hey, The Digital switch over happens in these parts fairly soon... Whilst downstairs we have Virgin Media + box and normal virgin box, upstairs there is no wiring for TV, up till now I have had to make do with just plain old normal TV. I've seen a fair few of these wireless things doing the rounds and thought about getting one. Do they work well or not? I've seen a phillips one are there any that let you change the channels without going to the cable box itself? The reason wireless is easier is because its my dads house and he has issues with cables running everywhere...he just doesn't want it basically... Failing that its going to be the costly trauma of getting a TV aerial installed and a port put in my room... It's something I was never going to worry about as me and my girlfriend were going to get place of our own, but we split up so looks like I am stuck at home for the foreseeable future.

First week schedule seems good to me: Monday: Killzone 2 (20:00 onwards) Tuesday: ? Wednesday: Burnout Paradise (20:00 onwards) Thursday: Killzone 2 (19:30 onwards) Friday: ? Saturday: ? Sunday: Killzone 2 (20:00 onwards) Perhaps have genre nights, so for example fighting? as theres a fair few who have at least one version of streetfighter and a few of us who have SCIV and I think two of us who own MK vs DC! Also perhaps a sports night?

I'll be interested to know what you find out I may be going travelling round europe and was thinking of doing the same.

I don't think here in the UK we will see any price cut because of the falling pound..I can't imagine their production costs have reduced enough to offset weak currencies compared to the yen.

Sorry I didn't make it tonight...was doing some ironing whilst watching Lost, just one episode turned into 3 and I got all my ironing done. Watching Heroes now, I think I'm gonna play some more Resi after that...will try make it on Thursday night for the clan match though if I'm welcome to.

Had a look for it in town today..but couldn't find it anywhere...

Well looked for crazy taxi fare wars in town...could only find it for £19.99 new in gamestation reckon it can be got cheaper...watching a few copies on ebay will try and pick on up on there.

Well finally gotten some time in with this today. Just completed Chapter 2:1 so I am not to far into things (percentage complete is at just 5%). Playing on Normal for my first run through. So far I am loving it. It is just more of the same but Resi 4 is my third favourite game of all time so thats ok by me There is one little thing about Sheva that I don't like. It's that she is too loud! Chris makes enough noise ass he walks around but she makes even more...and it kinda wrecks a lot of the suspense for me. I'm not a hater of the co-op system as a whole, I enjoyed it in Resi 0 and I enjoy it again, yes she can be dumb, but there is something to be said for this sort of shared experience that Chris is having with someone native to the country. Now the country thats another point. No I'm not about to go on a racist Resident Evil rant or something. I am just pondering on how the last two Resident Evil games have not been set in more remote settings with the idea to clearly isolate the protagonists. Resident Evil 2 was by far my favourite I wonder if we will ever see a return to the surbuban setting? Rather than the remote villiages being used as testing ground for the various viruses how about we see them unleashed upon a city or something...

I think once I have completed Resi 5 and got some more ranks in killzone 2 done I might pick this up... I love golf games but havn't bought one since the excellent mario golf on the cube, which I was awesome at. this looks great... Does it have voice chat? Can imagine a peaceful time playing online with cookyman listening to him f**ing this and that...

Yeah true. I think so many open world free roaming games tried so hard to create the most realistic all encompassing world that has loads to offer and variety etc...whilst a free roaming world with a singular focus can be just as enjoyable... I'm off into town later will see if I can pick up a copy of one of the versions on the cheap.

thats good for me cos I don't have CoD and am busy friday nights. selfish i know but dont want my nights off dedicated to it...
