Why oh why do people keep banging on about the controls...Why is there this notion that every game has to control the same? Its the same with people saying about Resi 5 needing normal action controls. I personally prefer games to mix things up abit and try something different I also think the controls in multiplayer are spot on. I do understand peoples problems with the aiming but then I think this is another example of adapting. I have managed to pick people off from a fair distance in the past... EDIT Was the Killzone 2 meant to be play.com exclusive, just asking because I got an email off GAME giving me a code to download it.

I wouldn't say it means one machine, but one distribution system...I wonder if Sony are going to jump the gun and steal a march on making digital downloads their primary format across all their products. Although tbh this is what Apple already do...

I think things will get really good once everyone has the classes (alas I think I will stick with medic once again) up and running and definitly think we need to get some VS games going against other clans. EDIT; I will online at some point tonight perhaps...might play single player though.

Ok so here goes thought I'd start a new thread for people to help me with my purchasing decision. Basically which should I get? I plan on getting a full band set at some point in the near future. Whats the deal with the compatiabity? I can't remember where resolving it was up to last time I looked. Which is the better game and which has the better instruments? RB seems to have more songs I will like! Also the DLC seems to be cheaper per track?

People who have concerns about the controls should really play multiplayer is a whole different ball game. the lack of cover actually opens up things and unfortunately does help to show how cumbersome the cover system is...It need to be more of a snap to system.

Have to say so far what I have played of single player I actually prefer Resistance 2's solo offering! But multiplayer is a different thing altogether. I love it! So far my stats read as; Online Score 28 Number of Kills 23 Times Died 33 which is quite good for me... Had good game with Tegg and Deathjam before, helped by the fact that we won in a 7-0 white wash! So far so good...can't wait to really dig into come sunday/monday

Well this is based purely on the single player and only the first level at that...so far...I am disappointed... Namely this comes down to the loading jitter that occurs just that little bit too often for me...also had two glitches which meant I had to restart the level. Both have been related to characters not doing what they are meant to do for the game to progress for example one was when you are hi up and by the convoy just before the collapsing building and there is a bit where Garza talks to the ship and then they zoom off this didn't happen first time he just stood at a pillar looking at the floor. The second time round same section after that he is meant to go round and open a door and he didn't. I don't mind the odd glitch but twice in one part of the same level and the first level at that is worrying...just about to delve into multiplayer to get my ass handed to me...

seriously? heard there are faults with the MC sticks...I'm gonna get a hori stick when i finally get round to buy this...

It's all about the floating dpad...better for the quarter circles.

thats much easier than the previous solution I saw which was taking apart a sixaxis and putting the contents in the shell of a 360 controller...all obviously with this adapter method you don't get the use of games that use motion and its bloody expensive as well...

Me to get some practice in lol! I hope my copy comes tomorrow because have mammoth shifts at work friday and saturday so will miss out on the fun then, but sunday and monday off....
