Y'know those tv shows that show 'hilarious' ads from around the world?Like the one on bbc1 at the moment with Jimmy Carr? Isn't it weird that the BBC shows them.. i mean they're still advertisements. It's all a conspiracy! They're presenting these ads so 'innocently'. I mean.. I've chosen to watch adverts! Wtf! Who does that?! This is how tv adverts should be, actually. Instead of 3-minute breaks every 20 minutes, they should have a whole show per day for them. That way, companies would have to make awesome adverts! It makes sense.

My last 36 hours > yours. Went to lagoon, finished off my gin to a few games of chess and cards. Bought a can of cider on the way to a mate's gig, had a couple of bottles of cider at the gig and stumbled into an old colleague. Then it got to about 10pm and I was like "donwannagohome" so called my mate and met her the other side of brighton, bought some more cider and went to a free party down on the beach by the marina! Hundreds of people raving the night away. Mental. Anyone who knows brighton might know the Volks railway - the rave was at the marina station end. Awesome. My mate's friends had a rig set up, so we got to max it out at the speakers! Then the sun came up, the clouds let loose and the rave moved into the undercliff thing, which was ace. Then we walked to some guys house, and kept drinking 'til 2pm. I played chess and took cocaine with some random people. I kicked ass. Then got high and talked more shit, then walked home and had a couple of kips on the hove lawns and at the lagoon. Some weird guy with a dog woke me up, came home and went to bed for a few hours. Now I'm up! Whey!

*ahem* sorry for the massive bump buut... someone made a promise! I just watched the entire 4th season over the last 48 hours and... well it was awesome. A lot of interesting episodes and a lot of evolution with the whole mythos of the island. Considering the cliff-hanger at the end of 3 was 'omg teh futuur! who died? Who survived? How did they get off the island? Are the rescuers the good guys?' ... the season did pretty well answering them; of course the answers are always "weelll... I'm afraid it's just not as simple as that..." New questions then? Who on the freighter is dead/alive, if anyone (was I the only one who thoought it was mighty selfish of jack et al to hog the chopper for themselves and let the second-rate survivors run around like chickens?)? For those left on the island (rose, bernard, juliet, sawyer, locke) will they hook up with each other again? What's locke's new role going to be? What do the other's want? Will we find out about what they do with the kids (i presumed Walt had the desmond ability to leap around in space/time?) Will that woman from the tail end of the plane be with them? Will daniel and the boaters hook up, too? will redheadlady find what she wants, despite Ben having gone now? Then you got the 'real' world! Do we know who the people Sayid is killing are? Will we see 'flashforwards/backs' showing locke talking about the hoaxy stuff? Will they get back to the island? is ben still to be considered the 'good' guy compared to widmore? will we see more of frank, desmond and penny? Will we understand what happened to claire? *mind melts* .... yeah. lots of new questions, not all important of course. I liked the finale - the lack of a massive twist is fine with me as I enjoy watching the show develop and unfurl, as there are always questions to be answered! At least the show hasn't run off into parallel dimensions. Also; I wonder about... wossisname... ghost talker dude? I hope we see more of the "rescuers" backstories. Y'know I was thinking the same thing about Bentham throughout the finale, so the end wasn't too surprising. I like this idea about polar bears as it explains how the skeleton got to the desert I'd bet it's still a bit more fucked up than just that, though. I dislike this theory. Alchemy stones such as those are used to make decisions, and the owner usually keeps them on their person at all time, not spread out like that on a table! But I guess there's no sense ruling anything out, eh? I just don't think it's entirely possible to go back in time on the island. Well, as if I even know! Soo.. anyone still care about lost?

Ok, so I heard a rumour about how the new Terminator film will end! I will put it in spoiler tags in case anyone doesn't want to see it...

lol... well in the end most people took over a week to get their compilations ready :P I would say out of teh 25 that did end up taking part there's probably about 10-12 people who haven't actually taken part. Let's thwup them onto another ol' "blacklist", shall we? SuperRyan; I think out of precaution New Members won't be able to take part until they're settled in.

I haven't watched the show in ages but I'm sure there's still a few gems here and there - it would just be much nicer if all the efforts involved went into new projects.

"Members of the Unionist communities in Northern Ireland might describe themselves as British even though they are not on the island of Great Britain, as this reflects a political and cultural identity." Britain is the island on the right, Ireland is on the left. The british isles is an archipalego. g'bless wiki. How awesome is that picture, eh! EDIT: lol I especially love the bits of Northern Island that are part of the british isles but not the uk -
D-Day - listened to the whole thing now. It's largely stuff I'd never listen to, and there are a few things I do like. I'll try to send yours off tomorrow but I apologise if i don't get round to it 'til monday (busy weekend potentially) - and i don't think you'll like it much :P. Cheers as well for the note in it, too! Awesome stuff Paj; you only got one address because you sent yours in after I'd allotted everyone else, having managed to overlook D-Day Well is there anyone who wants to send Paj their addy to swap another mixtape? *sends out PMs to people* - sorry if you get one and you've sent off already.

Received D-Day's! I really should check the post when i wake up. Just ripping it to my HD/ipod now,.. I gotta say it's rather more eclectic than yours was, dan :P D-Day can you help me out with track 10 - I'm trying to tag the track properly. Your tracklist says "The Quitt - [][][] (Featuring Jinbo)" . Is it really The Quitt or The Quintet as a typo? Also can you get me the katakana/hiragani-wtfever too?

Good luck with that shit, Jordan. And Rokhed; friends politics is always damn petty and annoying isn't it? It's always astounding how immature people can be. Lots of plans for August are coming together that ought to make up for the fairly mundane last two months. With any luck I'll be hitting up sheffield, crawley, newport, kent and maybe bournemouth before september starts. it's also Gay Pride this weekend here in brighton (which, Rokhed, you really ought to come down for some year - you'd love it), so there's parades going on, and some free party's that I might go to and feel insecure about not being drugged up A mate's got a gig someplace saturday, then another mate's coming back to brighton on monday, then another mate's got a birthday tuesday, so wahey! Socialite I be.

RE: DR. Horrible; OMG IT LOADS YAY! Ok I'll totally drink to that. lols! "Oh! goodness! look at my wrist..." made me spray bogies. Sorry - but true. lots of good script - I could say that most of the characters were vastly two-dimensional, but to be honest it was rather a good little 42 minutes of my life so why bother? Good stuff. Hope it's the first of many similar projects. yeah so three shots per act = I NEED MOAR NOW! Will try for lost s04e02/3 'Bout 4am now. just watched lost s04e04 and OMGWTFWTWFWNITWIF! This season is awesome. Not sure if I'll get any sleep tonight as I'll probably watch the whole thing WTFAOMOEMGOGOGN

I am totally up for shotting it, but as I say, I need some visual stimulation. Might try force myself through some streamed x-files/lost, but they always seem to fuck up in the last 5 minutes. Well... Lost season 4 here I come!

Aight so went to town for three pints. On the way learned of MULTIPLE friend politic issues that was just LAAME. Ended up with this girl and her mate, and this girl just winds me up. She doesn't realise I can lip read and all she does is talk to her mate about how lame, silly, ridiculous or retarded us boys are being when all we're doing is small talk and drinks. really pissed me off. Was originally supposed to go to this other pub but we quickly learned that there was a gathering there headed by this one guy who hates us all... which is just childish and.. annoying. So bought a sandwich, came home, and now there's lots of noises coming from my back garden and I want a cigarette but am a little scared to go out there. Also too tired to go to bed, have no mixer for my gin and nothing to watch... so yeah. What the fuck. Oh yeah - and there's a fly in this room where I'm supposed to sleep tonight, which annoys the fuck out of me.

Some neighbours of my ex's student house were a bit odd. Every morning and every night we could hear some thumping up stairs, a crash, then excessive vomit noises for about ten minutes. This happened twice a day, every day. They were located behind her house, so a couple of times we would walk around to the next road. All of their windows were filled with potted plants. They had a small field of chimney pots in their front garden. We never discovered what it was -- it just made our mornings a bit odd. my neighbours here in brighton have never been a bother. In sheffield, which Shorty forgot to mention, we have what must be at least four generations of chinese or vietnamese living next door. Their entrance is, akin to ours, down an alley. They have these large metal doors roughly six and a half feet high, placed in the middle of a similarly-heighted wall. They must only have one key for this door, because several times a week we'll sit for 30 mins and listen to BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG on teh metal door, followed by WAHIODHOHADLNAPIWPDI (or, more likely, some actual mandarin or something) shouted at the top of the voice of whoever's forgotten to let someone know they were going out for a bit. ... Not much, really, I guess.

Ah, man, death dreams are always the suckiest. Driving a carful of your loved ones straight into a truck is a sure-fire way to wake up quick in the morning.
