    We did Trocadero a couple of years ago (i suck at arcades) and it went down well! We went in the evening though, after a 3-4 hour park sitting/tree-clumbing session. Both can be done and attended by any interested parties! (just park and getting drunk for me, obv.)

    I didn't get a single nomination this season :'( I'd say I really, really should be promoted this season, but we'll see.

    Unfortunately the repetition is a part of the humour, so if you don't like it now... Sense of humour fail. I've forgotten which Fringe ep. I actually got up to in s03 so I'm probably going to wait for the season to end then watch it over the dry period.

    I like it when we have new members. Makes me read everyone's posts from a new perspective; I pretend I don't know them at all and everything seems so weird. - COD 'til 5am - Up at 2pm - Lots of housemates gone! - Too tired for library today - Will watch UFC/Ultimate Fighter/Justified/Pacific/Supernatural/HIMYM/V/Treme until something happens with my day.

    Read an interesting quote just now, that I thought I'd chuck in here; http://www.uiowa.edu/~iareview/mainpages/new/aug05/documents/goonan.pdf p.8 The quote insinuates that there is an issue with those 'at the top of the field' of appreciating art are unable to convey precisely why the experience of deeper meaning is worth even experiencing, and that in a sense it is something not learned at all. Makes me feel good to be a poseur, tbfh.

    Y'see that's the way I feel about war. Murder's murder, no matter if you're wearing a uniform or not. What's wrong with someone trying to justify something? If you see no difference, then there's a need for someone to show you how two things are different, because they are seriously different things, and if you have an issue with telling one thing from another then I certainly don't want you anywhere near a gun. (yes, this is an attempt to rile you through selective ignorance. But if you can do it then so can I.)

    Have you seen The Darjeeling limited? Another film by Wes Anderson and quite possibly his best one. An absolute charmer of a movie! Go seeee! is that the banksy film?

    Band t-shirts? Pffaw. No. You missed a trick with the whole "while in mid-air" thing. Was a cool bish. (Although that is a zebrahead t-shirt so I still winz) (and I'm fairly certain I'm wearing my Jimmy Eat World tee under that, too)

    - Back from 7-hour slog - Housemates dumped all the lounge/corridor stuff of mine in my room - I put half of it back where it was (shoes/coats/etc) - Three cans tonight - Breaking Bad, Lost and Pacific to watch! - ... Library tomorrow most likely. That would make it 4 times in 5 days! :P

    lawl :P I've just realised the date for the election so I have a fantastic new excuse for not voting; I have essays due in on teh 5th and teh 7th of May.

    Not playing 'til tues! Not got any money, not done any training, not bought or sold any players. Uh oh.

    New Supernatural episode was a retread of familiar ground and essentially 45 minutes purely to tell us that sam and dean's paths are splitting again. House's lock-in episode was very good. This season combined with the last 5 eps of the previous have had an excellent average of decency. Or a decent average of excellency, or whatever. You know what I mean. I always abide by the 3 strikes rule - one episode rarely gives you a full flavour, forcing yourself to sit through three and you may change your mind. There are plenty of truly awesome tv shows out there at don't grab you immediately -- The Wire, Carnivale, HIMYM, etc.

    +1 hearts to y'all for cheering me up with this :P - Woke up at 11am - Told housemate to gimme £132 or else! - Went back to bed - Woke up at 2pm - Came to library - Currently on page 172/235 - had a 'hanger' in a vending machine - Two cans of cider and leftover chilli curry pasta await my return - New 'Hot Girl' potential. - Will facebook stalk for a few weeks then do nothing about it.

    Actually that's a good idea, Will - nearly every city I've been to abroad I've hopped on one of those sightseeing buses. You get a lot of the sightseeing out of the way, and it's a good way to keep an eye out for places/things to do. With it being london, a tour down the thames is another potential tourist thing to do. Aside from that, I don't know london at all so I couldn't recommend anything groovy.

    The tube is shit, but marginally shitter than other forms of public transport in london. It's so depressing, sweaty, impersonal, crowded. Much like most of london [/obv. dig].

    Lawl dan, I need to hear this :P - internet's been shit all day - nightwolf and housemate come to rescue some DVDs - Housemates eventually come home... and have a fight in the kitchen. And corridor. And break teh bannister. Was a cool UFC-esque fight, mind you. - Walked to london road at midnight, bought some booze - Am drinking, listening to eskimo, talking to Haden, gonna watch Breaking Bad before bed - Totally psychoanalysed a housemate to the point of INSTILLING FEAR in him. - I don't like hyphens. Hyph! Hypn. Hypson. HIP SON.
