You've got your Wii home, What's the first thing you do?
Sarka replied to Phube's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Probably create Mii, have a round of Tennis then boot up Zelda. Sounds like a fun day planned for me. -
I 100% agree with you. Another thing, this White Knight Stoy looks nice - but I always would prefer playing Paper Mario or TWW instead of this. I can see this (well, not quite) in higher definition by looking outside. I want VG's to capture my imagination and beautiful cel shaded or cool art styles (Mario Galaxy's shininess appeals to me big time!) win it for me everytime - and Nintendo usually have really nice art styles. I have never cared if someone has said "look at those kick ass water effects!" as I wouldn't mind if it was a big pool of blue with some waves in it. It really doesn't bother me at all.

What what what?! Scissor Sisters have amazing lyrics! Their whole new album is pretty much about the acceptance of death and it's impending doom - it meant a lot to me. Return to Oz has most wonderful lyrics and even Filthy/Gorgeous - though maybe not the most thoughtful - has some excellent stuff in there. Anyway, I do not really analyise lyrics - I just know them and sing along. Yay.

Transistor is the only bad song on the album and I think that Making Ladies is a bit to clubby - as is the remix, though I quite like it. Hair Baby and Contact High are fabulous though! I want to see a big thetrical show with lots of dancers and explosions withthe album over the top. That's what I image when I listen to it.

Ahh! I can't stop listening! I love IDFLD still, She's My Man is fantastic, as is I Can't Decide. Not to fond of Lights and LOATW but Intermission is the best song ever! I love it so much, brilliant concept, brilliant everything! I'm in love with Kiss You Off and The Other Side - the rest after Intermission don't really stick out, apart from Ooh, as fantastic but they're still very nice. The bonus CD is worth it just for Almost Sorry - can't stop listening to it!

I think the Red Steel one looks horrid and the Spongebob one is fantstic. All boxarts should be like that. I also hate the Twilight Princess boxart. What is it with me and boxarts? I loved MKDS which most people said was one of the worst boxarts ever.
-
I'm so jealous of all your Scissor Sisters adventures Coo - damn you! Anywa came home today from my cousins house to find my Mother had bought the Special Edition for me! Best CD case EVER! Hells yes! Anyway, absaloutly love the first 3 songs and Kiss You Off is simply fabulous. I shall post later on when I get more familiar with them all and can moan about some of them!

I think TP will get about 95/96% but I still think I will enjoy Galaxy more than anything else. The game I enjoyed most on the NES? Mario Bros, the SNES? DKC3, the N64? Banjo Kazooie, the GC? Sunshine. I am a sucker for platformers and this one looks shinier and nicer to control than any I've ever seen before.

Go... House... He seems more fun, much more fun.

The new sig may be a few weeks - may save it for Halloween, that could be fun. Anyway, this next year is going to be much better than the last. With the Wii, hopefully a few more exciting site exclusives, more members are sure to join and some will leave. If we think about a year ago it was muchos different. There was no retro-lover, bard or arab_freak. The good and bad balance out I'd say. Haden was busy with the almighty CE story, the first important Wii news was coming out and people were still pretty worried about the PSP.

We can change it if you wish. Indeed, my modding style is to lock everything that is wrong and give people the benefit of the doubt. Apart from the fact you get to lock things, you are just a normal person - you don't really have any power. And Sarkas_girly is now Letty. We split up and now her and Jordan are going out. Both of our lives are better since we split, so yay! Also, I'm making a new NBC sig...

Indeed I was, but that name sucked so I became Sarka. *shrug* I think I just spammed a lot when RE started and hoped no one would notice I was newish... Oh wait - I mean that I was responsible, that's the expression I was looking for.

The switchover was the most exciting night ever! First there was the switchover, and the Wiimote. So exciting! Though I spent most of my night at GameFAQ's... I far prefer the look of these forums but I think the old ones had a bit more intellegent posts and less spam. (Apart from Jordan, who was once the spam whore if I remember correctly) EDIT: Also, Cube-Europe Name: Ballmonkey Posts: 1628 Position: Nintendo Gold Member Date Registered: January 3rd, 2005, 12:36am Revo(N)-Europe Name: Sarka Posts: 1687 Position: Moderator Date Registered: September 16th, 2005

I listened to their album on MySpace - FABULOUS! I can't wait to get it on Monday now, though I can't get it on Monday, or Tuesday... or Wednesday... OH DEAR LORD!
-
1. Mario Galaxy 2. Wi Sports 3. Zelda: TP 4. Wario Ware 5. Monkey Ball or Excitetruck!
-
Pros - cheap (I was expecting £150, but £180 with Sports is mighty fine for me!), this year, Mii, Wii Play looks cool. Cons - People complaining, and the controllers a bit steep...
-
£3.50 for an NES game, £5.25 for a SNES game and £7 for an N64 game. Aka, £14 for 2000 Wii Points.
-
It should of come with bongos unless it was the cheapo £20 no bongos set. I can't wait for this game!
-
WOAH! So small... compared to my beast of a Creative... it's ridiculous... If I somehow get a few hundred quid I shall spend a small amount on it - yay!
-
Though I am looking forward to Zelda and how much it shall kick ass - Wii Sports has grabbed my attention as the funnest game that will come out this year. And fun is all I care about in games atm...
-
Office? PAH! OpenOffice is better and for Macs too - and free of course!

I am looking into buying one of these lovely looking machines. I don't have enough cash yet but by next January I should just have enough. I shall be watching this thread closely. EDIT: I was going to make a thread yesterday about buying a MacBook btw, :p

It might look good in motion and the wheel may be nice to play with. We'll just have to wait a few months to find out.

Iwata interviews Wii development team Part 2 & 3
Sarka replied to small tac's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Well, what else is there to beat it? Apart from the DSLite I also think that the GC is the most stylish console released (the 360 maybe beats it). The Wii easily beats it though imo.
