  1. Possibly, either that or a new char as she doesn't really look like any of the other previous Resi chars, the skin tone suggests she may be a new char though, who knows.
  2. 6. Calibration options for motion sensor devices. Seems the rumours were true then, unless they count that crappy camera as "motion sensing".
  3. Technically we weren't promised it in the initial teaser though... it just said "Banjo is back!" they didn't mention in what form this may take. :/ Anyway, I'm still looking forward to this in the hope that it turns out to be amazing, sells phenomenally and then sees Rare making the real Banjo Kazooie sequel somewhere down the line.
  4. Ninja Gaiden II Launch Trailer (HD) now up on XBLM. ^^ http://uk.xbox360.ign.com/articles/873/873856p1.html ^ Some new bits of info.
  5. Well, we have more than enough being released in 2008, plus both those games could do with extra development time IMO, they will be all the better for it, hopefully...
  6. Ok seen the video... It's too far removed to be a sequel so basically it's not... it IS a new IP with the Banjo characters based around it / shoehorned into it it's NOT Banjo Threeie and I doubt if such a thing even exists anymore, but may do in the future, but as far as the plot goes it doesn't feel like a continuation, therefore it's a spin-off to Banjo as well as being a new IP. it IS somewhat exciting I must admit but it's most certainly NOT the Banjo that was once loved by many. And finally, it IS different... whether that will prove to be it's greatest advantage or greatest downfall remains to be seen...
  7. Hmm so from that description from GI it sounds to me that Rare wanted to create BK3 but they also wanted to create a vehicle based game but couldn't decide which so they merged the two together. :/ I really hope theres more to it than that but platforming AND vehicle building / racing? One of the two elements is gonna come off worse surely? then again if any developer can pull it off, managing to combine the two flawlessly then it's Rare... or so I would have believed once upon a time. I'm trying so hard to remain open minded here but at the moment I'm now somewhat conflicted, Is this really Banjo Threeie? or something completely new and unfounded with a few familiar elements to keep fans happy? I guess soon we will know for sure... *waits patiently*
  8. Quoted for truth! I bought it upon it's release but there were other games out at the time that I also bought which lead to me only playing it for around 40 - 45 mins and then never again. :/ I may force myself to play it before this one comes out if it's a noticable improvement though.
  9. I thought that was one of the best screens and is now my desktop wallpaper.
  10. Finally! some screens without vehicles, though after seeing more of those vehicle screens they will obviously play a part in the single player but maybe not so much I think Rare just wants to show us the "new" stuff they have added, I'm thinking the vehicles will be a more prominent feature in online multiplayer maybe? It looks really nice, different from everything else out there (I think it looks a world apart from Jak and Daxter personally, compare two screenshots, both games are quite different visually, maybe it's all the vehicles though ) but yeah it looks good, so Banjo and Kazooie look a bit different *shrugs* was bound to happen and besides they still look good and you have to bear in mind (sorry >>) that the originals were on the N64 and styles of games change a lot especially if they are on entirely different pieces of hardware. Well I'm quite hopeful for this but I need to see some footage and some convincing yet that the vehicles won't completely ruin the game. But until then I remain open minded.
  11. Well at least it's not another crappy mini-game collection spin-off like the last game. *shudders*
  12. Each to their own, people on here will argue it to the death otherwise. Personally I really liked the BK games, they were'nt as revolutionary as SM64 *shrugs* but they certainly were'nt as bad as countless platformers that appeared on the N64 / Saturn / Playstation. Not that they were all bad of course but for me SM64, BK, BT and CBFD were some of the best platformers around for their time and I can't wait for BK3.
  13. DK64 maybe, the original BK? nope, thouroughly enjoyed it myself. Hmm those screens, yes they look awesome but two things... Wheres Kazooie? Whats with the vehicles? I hope they've just chosen to show these as vehicle sections of the game rather than Banjo / Kazooie being dependant on vehicles for the whole game. :/
  14. Preordered ltd edition, cancelled regular edition pre-order... and I got it for £75.99
  15. Solid, straightforward cropping from cel shaded artwork which is already awesome, 9/10

    GTA IV

Hmm I've taken out all the criminals on the most wanted list... wheres my achievement >< Am I doing it wrong?
  18. S.C.G

    GTA IV

Or do what I'm doing and just enjoy the first play through with no pressures, once the first file is done a speedrun on a second file will be so easy.
  19. Same but if it's like the first two and somehow made better with this new controller then thats all the better, but if it's like the first two in essence and let down by the new controller then phail.
  20. Just had a quick blast on all three Muse tracks just to let you all know how good they are and and y'know cos I wanted to play them too. But yeah, Exo-Politics is the fun easy going track got 100% on that, Stockholm Syndrome is the middleground track that owns and Super Massive Black Hole is the hard track that while not in the difficulty of some GH tracks still takes a bit of getting used to and it's so good that you'll want to perfect it. Overall... 500 points well spent.
  21. MUSE Track Pack is up on Live for GHIII ^^ *downloading now*
  22. Yeah buying imports on eBay, it's always better to buy from someone who's allready done the importing bit for you, unless it's significantly cheaper from the other country, otherwise... UK all the way.
  23. If the camera is the same as the one in Ninja Gaiden Sigma then nps cos lol it was one that you control yourself anyway so the only real problem with a system like that is if you put it in the wrong place. :/ So camera "issue" aside this should be every bit as awesome as the original. As for the to PS3 or not to PS3 topic I think that if it comes out on the PS3 (which is unlikely atm) then the 360 should get a port of Ninja Gaiden Sigma as well, which baring in mind NGII seems to be exclusive to 360 is kind of mind boggling why the original hasn't been ported to the 360 allready, I know the Xbox had NG and NGB but meh a 360 port of NG with achievements and an unlockable version of the Nes NG would own. :P
  24. It's roughly two months to go until release day now so I figured it's high time we had a thread / new thread for this. http://uk.xbox360.ign.com/objects/686/686645.html Overall it's shaping up to be every bit as good as the original <3 if not (dare I say it) better, the demo is due to hit XBLM this month and the game is due out the end of next month. Who's hyped for / gonna get this?
  25. Hmm in that case, no cheap 360 version... no sale... so far I only have two games for the PS3... Uncharted and Ninja Gaiden Sigma, I've basically only bought it for the truly amazing exclusive titles and Haze doesn't sound like it fits that bill anymore. :/ Roll on June 12th! p.s I know that Uncharted and Nina Gaiden Sigma might not qualify as amazing exclusives in some peoples books but, Uncharted was very enjoyable from start to finish and Ninja Gaiden Sigma is effectively the directors cut of one of the best games of the last generation. (directors cut of a directors cut but you get my point, it owns and on that note I can't wait for Ninja Gaiden II also :P)
