  1. Ah OK... I definitely confirmed that it was Fat 32 before I started it, come to think of it the USB SD card adapter might have come lose briefly during the transfer so I guess I'll just put it down to that and hope that it will be fine since I started the transfer over again from a fresh set of files from the original SD card, if it does it again though I'll just reformat the new card again and go from there. Just wanted to check that it wasn't come kind of anomaly. Interestingly I have only used 9.27GB of my current 32GB card so I think sticking with 32GB for micro SD will be fine for a while.
  2. Hmm so I've been trying to transfer across from my normal sized 32GB SD card to my new micro SD card, moved everything across to the desktop as usual, moved it to the new card completely unchanged, it was going well until it sad that a certain app file couldn't be copied totalling 1.74GB... is this normal? Perhaps it's a downloadable game I thought? Do those not transfer between SD cards? The notable larger titles I have would be DKCR:3D and SMTIV but nothing on the downloadable retail title side apart from those... oh and Kirby of course. Was just curious, trying it again from scratch now to see if it was a one-off but it would be nice to know if there's something I'm doing wrong, this was supposed to be a simple process.
  3. Just the thought of seeing her again was enough to keep me motivated. Just to see the smile on her face would be wondrous, while through the sustained ice-cold grimace on mine, I was left feeling ponderous. Would she even want to see me? It doesn't matter at this point, I thought to myself, just go to her. Staggering forward either through bravery or stubbornness - I did not care which at this point - each of my steps feeling substantially heavier than the last. Surely only a bit farther? I thought to myself, knowing full well that I was probably only half-way there. The sheer will to carry on despite the substantial force of nature in my path only further served to remind me that this extreme trial would be worthwhile, she is most definitely worth enduring extreme punishment for. Masochistic I may be but the fire within me burns too brightly to be extinguished by this temporary feeling of frigid isolation.
  4. Yes that's fine thanks, I've been at work most of the day but I'll see if I can think something up tonight hopefully. : peace:
  5. I didn't get one in the second wave either sadly. So yes please, I'd be happy to buy one via your promotional offer if that's OK? Will send you a PM in a bit, thanks again Aneres.
  6. I'll be buying/playing Monster Hunter 4 for definite! I still have faith that voice chat will be included being that it's Capcom and we got it for MH3U so this really should have it by default. : peace:
  7. That's a nice physical copy @Ike. I know it will probably never happen but, I'm in the process of playing Phantasy Star IV again on my Retron 5 and it struck me that it would be amazing if Sega were to recreate Phantasy Star Collection again... except this time properly - the GBA collection is supposed to be mixed at best - with added 3D; naturally as a physical boxed product in addition to being on the eShop. Alas though... this is probably but a dream, I have to wonder though if Sega have anything like that planned, especially being that we don't have either Sega Megadrive or TurboGrafx games on either of the 3DS or Wii U Virtual Consoles. We can only hope that something will be announced soon, especially if Nintendo intend to keep the Wii U and 3DS going for a few more years yet which I assume they do, for now though these Sega 3D Classics are still pretty amazing even if we are having to wait Ages for them.
  8. Thank you for your consideration, I appreciate it either way. Are you ever going to be using your Peach 3DS again? I'd imagine that now you've upgraded to your imported New 3DS it's be hard to go back, at least it's a nice collectors item though, not that you'd ever part with it of course. : peace:
  9. Well, let me know if you decide not to go for it as I'd gladly PayPal you the cash... even though I know that I shouldn't as I've only really just finished paying for last years expenses. But I'm just saying, unless you were thinking of buying it for one of your family members, or if you were going to sell to anyone else, perhaps you could even order it then eBay it for however much your Peach 3DS cost you? That would even things out. Anyway... just another option but if you did decide to sell me it then I'd definitely do an unboxing feature for the site - in pictures and text anyway as I have zero experience with making videos - so that would be something. : peace: Ultimately I was hoping to hold out for the XL but to get a limited edition of the New 3DS and to get it early would certainly be something special indeed. Though I do wonder what would happen if in the unlikely but possible event that the unit had a dead pixel, that's always at the back of my mind but hopefully that issue is next to non-existent now.
  10. They probably will be that price... ...in GAME. Actually scratch that, they'll be double the RRP most likely so £15... ...per plate.
  11. Potentially not for at least three months, or whenever Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate comes out anyway. You could get one and do an unboxing video/review for N-E just an idea, if you were already thinking of getting one. : peace: Or you could sell it on eBay for extra cash apparently there are already some listings up there for up to something daft like £400! It's bound to be a pretty limited model though so if it was me I'd probably keep it.
  12. Two kids playing a Power Rangers 3DS game, on a big TV screen, via an... N64? ... Seems legit! : peace:
  13. Sandisk Ultra 32gb micro SDHC card with adapter £11.54 from Tesco http://www.tesco.com/direct/sandisk-micro-sdhc-memory-card-sd-adapter-32-gb/454-9216.prd?pageLevel=&skuId=454-9216 I've got mine already bought, seriously considering transferring over to it now to avoid a lengthy transfer process on the day as others have already advised.
  14. Happy Birthday! Here are two loosely related game box-arts... (I always thought Flicky was loosely based on a Jay bird) (Where's-a-Mario?) Anyway... I hope you both have a great day. : peace:
  15. If the UK service didn't suck in the first place, then people wouldn't have to resort to these means to access the US service. :p From what I gather, there is more choice from the latter region than there is from the former. So surely the answer is to give their subscribers what they want? Otherwise if you take away the means to access the US region of Netflix from here then people just won't pay for it any longer, unless they aren't paying for it in the first place... if that's the issue then I could understand but if they are limiting access of certain shows or films to their paying customers then I don't see how that benefits anyone?
  16. Sounds fun, sign me up please.

I'm pretty sure it was from when there was update data for the game and every time I'd hit the Home Menu button it would inform me that 'data has finished downloading' so the only way to get rid of it was to load up the game; I'd spent a considerable amount of time completing the game the year before that though I assure you. Also I love that my most played game of 2014 overall - and for the Wii U - was still Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate even though I haven't played it in months I clearly need to put more hours into Super Smash Bros, Pokémon Alpha Sapphire and Shin Megami Tensei IV though. : peace:
  18. While I don't like the idea of New Years Resolutions I suppose there's a few things I'll be working towards this year... Do things for myself : This probably sounds basic or really simple but what I mean is just getting things done in life because I want to, not being pressured by what anyone else thinks as much. Pass Driving Test : I've been on and off with this for a pathetically long time, this year I actually want to get out there and pass it so I can get a car - eventually - which may or may not make life easier but it'll be freedom at least. Be more helpful : I already am mostly or at least I try to be but I'm aware that I could always do a little more, this goes for home life, on the site and at work to an extent. Watch more films/Play more games : Or more specifically watch those films/games which I know I really should have and that I've wanted to see/play but just never got around to for whatever reason, I started as I mean to go on by watching Citizen Kane last night, to which there seems to be only one valid response... : peace:
  19. Doh! You're right, foiled again! (I knew I should have bought an extra NES game to be sure) Oh well... I've had a decent amount of £5 codes back so I'm not too disappointed, it has been a decent promotion but I still wish that Nintendo would continue with it. : peace:
  20. Got in just before the Network premium promotion expires - I think - I needed 185 points for a code, SNES games are worth 52 and there were 3 I happened to want plus NES games get you 29 points which unless I'm mistaken adds to the exact amount. :awesome: Either way I'm not going to feel too hard done by if I don't get one final code but I do hope Nintendo decide to re-open the promotion at some point as it's pretty decent. Anyway, Happy New Year everyone! : peace:
  21. Megaten Bump! Here it is, a little bit later than planned but... N-Europe Review : peace:
  22. I ended up buying Shovel Knight three times over just because I enjoyed playing it so much. Initially I got both the 3DS and Wii U version to review, but they were at a reduced rate for buying both right at the start, then I decided to get it on Steam as well. I regret nothing! : peace: Of course I'm fully aware that the way I buy games is probably not deemed to be normal and is influenced by me reviewing retro games a lot but still, just thought I'd put some perspective on things. Yes sales can be annoying if you happened to buy the game only days before but that's just the way it goes, it's a risk you take... I'm half expecting there to be another Mega Man sale soon being that I only recently bought Mega Man X2 along with Zero - I already had X2 though but it's nice to have it again - so that'll probably happen a few weeks down the line.
  23. No, I dislike using the gamepad for games like Super Smash Bros. it feels unnatural. Pro Controller or GC Controller, no problem though. I've yet to have the displeasure of playing the board game mode yet, I hear it's not exactly brilliant.
  24. Well... it's just the single player mode where you face off against other fighters, then the Mii fighters, then Master/Crazy Hand. It's probably not called Story Mode but I guess it's just thought of as it because it's the closest thing we'll get to one, I mean it's got the nice little ending clips for each character at least.
  25. Using the Gamepad to play Super Smash Bros. certainly isn't ideal to say the least... also yes I've always felt that Story mode should be on the main menu as well, I'm glad it's still in there as it's the only mode I've played so far aside from multiplayer, I want to work my way through all of the characters.
