Sonic Superstars multiplayer trailer and release date Now up on the main page. Overview and multiplayer / release date trailer. - - - - - This is actually great timing, it'll mean that Sonic Superstars can be blasted through, mere days before playing Super Mario Bros. Wonder, which is surely a good thing. A new Sonic title and a new Mario game within the same week? This is a great time for game releases.

Yeah... there is that too, though £5 - £10 per game does seem to be the current going rate for those three titles, so assuming that they are genuine of course, that's a good price. I sold a few of my DS games, and understandably, there were plenty of buyers wanting to purchase them, as they are all legitimate and most of them were purchased back when they were new. It is great when you do find a bargain DS game though, and if it turns out to be genuine. I'd probably be wary buying any DS games say... mail order from CEX, as I bet there are a few non-legitmate games which slip through the cracks, especially as they quite gladly will sell you an unboxed copy of just about any game, but put it in a box, print their own sleeve and call it 'boxed and complete' I've had that happen a few times, not with DS games, but Wii games etc. You can still find some bargains in charity shops and car boots etc as well, though it seems rarer these days as the values seem to be more well-known.

Yeah, I'm not sure what happened, but afterwards I found the option in the rulesets offline, so I switched it to ON hoping that might help for next time. I'm glad that the ethernet hub suggestion helped though, it's really useful to have, plus you have the added bonus of being able to use FTP software with any consoles that allow it, which is especially useful for Xbox, GameCube etc, as the hub acts as a bridge between your PC and any consoles you have connected, you just need to have the consoles set up to communicate with the PC, but it can be very useful. It definitely saves on the wear and tear of ethernet and potentially expensive Broadband adapters as well, plus it's fantastic for Smash and other online games.

Thanks for the games. Some X2 matches tonight, and even a X3. No custom stages though, as I tried the suggested methods but couldn't get it to work, I even checked Offline afterwards, and Cusom Stages were indeed off, but I couldn't see an option to turn them on within the lobby? So I've now turned custom stages ON for all of the different rulesets I have saved, in the hope that might help for next time? I dunno... it sounded so simple. Anyway, some great matches overall. All three for £20, boxed? That's a good deal. Yeah, some of them are pretty cheap, while other titles seem to be going up in price. Well worth waiting for the right listing, if the game you're after is a third-party title, which doesn't generally go for too much. Some games have gone up in price, or down following any re-releases... (depending on how well the re-release is received, I suppose) I just searched for Ghost Trick on the DS... that seems to have halved in price, following the recent re-release.
-
OK, so I just make the game, with the Time ruleset, open the lobby a few minutes before, go straight to Stage Select, deselect Palutena's Temple (if it isn't already for that ruleset) then go to random stage select, turn off custom stages, then in the online lobby, allow custom stages when it's time. That... sounds simple enough. We'll see how it all plays out. I should have the lobby ready for 8pm, if you see it open before, join as I'll just be changing settings probably.

Exactly, it's an easy sell as a physical game for £35, assuming that the game has as much content as the trailers and hype allude to. My thoughts on the lack of a physical release... "This is most disturbing" If it's to only be a digital title though... I'd pay £25 for it. The developer needs to "Understand the concept of love" for physical games. I'm sure they do though, and that there will be a boxed copy of some description, hopefully a collector's set for anyone that likes stuff, and a more widespread game on a card, in a box release for those of us who really want to buy the game, but will likely resist until the last moment, just in case. Either way, if they aren't planning a release, it'd be better to just say so, but I think the demand will be strong for this title, it's just money left on the table at this point.

I was just looking to see if there's a physical release for Bomb Rush Cyberfunk, it looks like there isn't, at the moment. For a game which costs just under £35 I'd have thought a physical release would be something the developer would want to persue. I believe the game will also be coming out for other formats, a couple of weeks after the Steam and Switch release, though still digital only, it would seem. This game would surely sell well as a physical release, either general, or limited, so hopefully a publisher has a deal lined up, and are just waiting to announce it. The game looks like the unofficial Jet Set Radio "sequel" which fans have surely wanted for a long time.

Thanks for the games. Some X2 matches tonight, and one X4 at the end... though that shouldn't be too surprising. A couple of disconnects, but the battles were smooth overall, decent character and stage combos too. Also... quickest three stock exit as Hero yet? That's got to be a new record. Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack: N64 & SEGA Mega Drive (& GBA!!)
S.C.G replied to Julius's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Yep, it varies wildly. Check out this stream from just under a month ago, when @Josh64 and I decided to play some Wave Race 64 and Pokémon Puzzle League... Wave Race 64 on the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack (+ Pokémon Puzzle League) - Multiplayer (14/07/2023) Yeah... I had fun putting together the thumbnail for that one. And in fairness, the connection may have improved since then, as one of us was on Ethernet, and the other on Wi-Fi which is always variable. Apparently if you have your profile set to 'appear offline' on the Switch, that can have an effect on it? Josh and I will probably play some other NSO games, or other Switch games soon to see how the connection holds up. Though, it does seem to be even more variable with four players... and I'm sure there have been times when we've had four players, all on ehternet, but when two or three of those players are on the same internet connection, that's another variable in itself. I will say though... @RedShell about the ethernet situation, have you considered using an ethernet hub? You can get them with 4 ports to 8 ports or more if required, and that might solve the issue of plugging and uplugging ethernet cables, I've been using a four or five port hub for a while, and am about to upgrade to an 8-port hub, as with the amount of wired consoles that are online and still functional, it's definitely required. (DC, GC, Xbox OG, Xbox One, Switch, PS5... (soon) plus a PC etc) From the ethernet hub, that then goes to a wired home plug, which takes the signal through the electric wires, to another home plug next to the router, eliminating the need for unfeasibly long ethernet cables, though from time to time, they can need a reset or power cycle. Those are my wired ethernet experiences for what they are worth. -

Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack: N64 & SEGA Mega Drive (& GBA!!)

Thanks for the games. Enjoy watching all the mini-games... not quite as you might remember them in the first half of the video... ...and then almost exactly as you remember them in the second half, complete with all the tactics and CPU player randomness. Plus the quiz of "Just press anything!" or "Damn, I knew that one!" but not being quick enough, and sometimes "Wait... what?!?" Thanks for the games. Some X2 matches tonight, Terry and a few others. Thanks for the follow @Glen-i on Twitch, you're the 64th subscriber to my channel, which I thought was cool. Also, all the chat comments survived the highlighting process, so most of the best moments have been time-stamped, and there were some great moments indeed. We were just talking about this on Discord as we were playing Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. If there was to just be an enhanced ultimate port, it would be cool to see at least some new alternate stages, or some altered stages, maybe a stage featuring the Super Mario Bros. Wonder aesthetic, as it would be good to see some of the more recent Nintendo games, or soon to be released, but before the next Smash game titles. As far as the roster of characters goes though? It's almost perfect... we're just missing Rick the hamster. But when it comes to Smash-a-likes... there aren't really any which seem to stack up. I've heard Rivals of Aether mentioned before, but even then... it's not Smash. The most fun I've had not playing a mainline Smash Bros. game, is playing Smash Remix, as it almost feels official, and it has characters like Marina from Mischief Makers, Goemon from Mystical Ninja, and Conker from Conker's Bad Fur Day, complete with chainsaw and flamethrower... I doubt we'll see that in an official Smash game, cool as it is.
