The EA games have been terrible, so this can only be good news! Let's see what Activision can do!
-
Trailer Looks pretty good! I really don't understand how the film works if it's a prequel to all the bond films because in that case shouldn't it have an old look to it with the classic cars and poor gadgets etc... Also, Judy Dench is the newly recriuted M, yet if it's a prequel telling the story of Bond getting his 007 license, she wouldn't be M!

I actually don't think it looks that bad, the lighting is pretty nice and I'd be fine with it looking like that on the Wii. Also, even if this game had Xbox 360 graphics would it persuade you to buy the game? I don't think so! Your either going to buy Rayman 4 or your not; and when I own the Wii, I'm not going to be tempted to buy a 360 just because Rayman 4 looks that bit better! The Wii exclusives are what's going to sell the system!

AWESOME!!!! and it's an EXCLUSIVE!! (other than a PSP version, but that will lack all the fun of the controls) This is fantastic news; Wii is impressing fans and developers and the support is back!!
-
Okami looks absolutely incredible!!! Wish they'd bring this game to the Gamecube, or even a port to Wii, with the Revmote controlling the brush!

Do you mean Galleon? That was moved to the Xbox! Raven Blade did look like a great game, check out the videos; http://media.cube.ign.com/media/016/016579/vids_1.html The real-time melee videos actually show how great the game could be on the Rev!! All the sword fighting and 'force' attacks would work great with the controller! -
From http://www.cubed3.com Also of interest;

What is it ........a Nintendo Revolution, that's what!!
-
Yeah ok i'll post it in the other thread; this one can be locked or whatever.

Why not the; Nintendo us as in the word; us The word - us - has EXACTLY the same meaning Nintendo wants to put across of a gaming community. It again, is a word that is transferable/pronouncable right across the world. It is a name with fantastic marketing potential. Nintendo us could also be said as the letters u, s, which would tie it in with and make it recognisable to the ds market. The name Nintendo us would be recognisable to all those with a Nintendo ds, so all those who bought a ds, might want to try the 'us', because it's another similarly fantastic system. It could also stand for something like 'unique system'.

I'd either like a sequel to Majoras Mask, or a prequel to Ocarina of Time set during the War. I think Link should start the game with a horse but as your quest evolves and you have to travel to other lands; Link should travel around on the back of a flying animal such as a giant Owl, Eagle or small Dragon. It would be incredible to swoop over land and ocean, and fly through the clouds, all to beatuiful sun-set/stormy/calm skies. If it's set during the War before Ocarina of Time there could be battles being fought that you fly over. There could be Ruto flying through the skies to interact with and take part in races etc... Later in the game there could be air based enemies such as other bird enemies, or enemies on the back of birds/dragons. The game should have Twilight Princess visuals to tie it in with the OOT/MM story.

Sounds GREAT!! Another exclusive game (seeing as the game relies so much on the controller)!! Though the franchise may go multi platform sometime.
-
Don't know if anyones seen the video for this game yet so here it is; http://media.cube.ign.com/media/800/800875/vids_1.html Don't see the point of the adventure elements really; but it's something different I suppose! The Monkey Cannon mini-game looks abit rubbish! Graphics are nice! If Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz is a nice step up on these visuals, that's good enough, as these games are all about the gameplay anyway!

Great to see Konami supporting the Rev!! Anyone have ANY idea on what the game may be? If I was guessing I'd say it sounded like a puzzle game from the name?!

EA's young Discusses Nintendo Revolution Development
Retro_Link replied to DiemetriX's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Yeah, because EA are all about the RTS, Those comments are SO stupid!! EA aren't going to make games that only support HD, if they did, their games would sell next to nothing! and EA is all about mass market sales; Sure they'll include HD support for 360 and PS3, but then the Rev just won't use that! -
I was thinking along the lines of the Jedi Knights games for First Person elements. I'd of thought (if nothing else) Lightsaber fights should be in first person so that your character does not block your view of any incoming shots and your view of opponents lightsaber at any time. If it is up to you with the Revmote to block ALL incoming attacks (it won't be like this generation where you just hold the block button) you are going to need a full view of the action, so you know exactly what angle the shot is coming in at to deflect it! Everything else could be third person! Alternatively, I suppose your character could go into a 'see-through/transparent' attack mode

http://www.gametrailers.com/player.php?id=10187&type=wmv&pl=game Amazing video!! Really hope there is a First Person Star Wars game at E3!! It would be fantastic if Nintendo made videos like this to advertise the Rev and more specifically the 'Revmote' and it's abilities!!

Tony Hawks Downhill Jam: Rev EXCLUSIVE!!
Retro_Link replied to Retro_Link's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Just found out there was a level in Tony Hawks Pro Skater called; 'Downhill Jam - Phoenix' For a short video of the level called 'down the slope' follow this link; http://uk.media.dreamcast.ign.com/media/013/013716/vids_3.html The levels in Tony Hawks Downhill Jam will probably be just like this; only much better as it's a next-gen game and will use the 'Revmote'! -
Awesome news!! sounds like a fantastic EXCLUSIVE game from Activision!!
-
Very interesting if true!! Possible force feedback through the 'nunchuck' (not the 'revmote')!! Would be great if this was learnt from Ubisoft and it appears in Red Steel!

I'd imagine the reciever could go behind the TV couldn't it? Having things in front of it wont effect it surely and that way it will be out of sight aswell!
