Well for the Dreamcast, GBA and Gamecube I've always pre-ordered from GAME and I'll probably do the same for the Wii. It's great going in on Launch day (may even go in at midnight for the Wii) and seeing the console and games on the shelves!!

Looks awesome IMO!

New Tales game to be unveiled soon!! for Wii??
Retro_Link replied to Retro_Link's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Yeah it could be for PS2, though it has had Tales of Legendia! Regarding next-generation, I think Namco may be less certain about the Japanese userbase owning PS3's over the Wii (especially considering the price)! So far the Japanese reaction to the Wii has been sensational, with the console topping many anticipation poles etc... The interest in the Wii over the PS3 at E3 is going to get all developers attention (as shown in cases such as Take-Two's recent statement)! Namco may try a 360 version, but again it's not that popular in Japan! The PS3 costs alot as a console and is expensive to develop for (though that shouldn't trouble Namco)! I think a Tales game for the Wii (with it's high levels of interest and low development costs) is very likely! -
Would be awesome news if this was Tales for the Wii!! Tales of Symphonia was a great success, Tales of the Tempest is bound to enjoy even greater success (what with the number of people who own a DS), so a Tales game on Wii (with all the hype and interest it's getting) is extremely likely!!

Having English in Shenmue I makes it that bit easier to fully appreciate the game and really take everything in because you don't have to look and read the subtitles; and therefore miss out on any of the action. It took me a while to get used to the fact there wasn't English in Shenmue II, but the Japanese voices make it more authentic and when you get used to it, it's really cool! But I do feel you sometimes miss certain things and subtle-ties that really make the game. New sig looks great Stocka!

HAHA, I remember it being really aweful, but I'd forgotten just HOW aweful that conference was!! "BEEP, BEEP, BEEP, BEEEEEEEEEP"

Anyone know if the PS3 will be in short supply for Christmas and therefore worth ordering one to sell/put on ebay (as was the case this christmas with the 360, DS Nintendogs packs and the PSP to an extent)? Though it will probably be that no-one will want one or be able to afford one anyways, so maybe they won't sell out!
-
Yeah, all Sony have shown for PSP connectivity as far as games are concerened, is a wing mirror to a Formula 1 car; and that's one expensive extra many aren't gonna want!
-
Yeah that's the one!!

Cool!! hadn't seen the end of the video before! Also, I guess Ridley's back to being just Ridley (from being Meta-Ridley in Prime) because Ridley's fully restored?!

No, but I posted a thread on it here; http://www.revo-europe.com/forum/showthread.php?t=7030

The art style looks great!

Yeah it's been talked about but nothing officially said, such as the news about the DS as a touch screen controller (at least for some games)!

The Likelihood of a Kid Icarus Game on Wii?
Retro_Link replied to Mimternet's topic in Nintendo Gaming
I think there's a good chance we'll see Kid Icarus on the Wii! It would be a fantastic franchise to bring back for the next generation with the Wii controller! If anyone wants to see a speed-run of the original Kid Icarus, to get some idea of what the game was about, here's a link; http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=7187645883092280282&q=kid+icarus Game looks awesome when you are 3 treasures PIT - 22:50!! Notice the game also uses the same sound heard in Zelda when you get something important - 18:00 -
I think Connectivity has a much greater chance of being a success with the Wii and DS. Alot of people who own the DS (but have not bought a Nintendo home console) are bound to want to try the Wii as it will take the DS to a new level and the Wii will offer the same unique interactive gameplay. A game like Pokemon is the perfect game to really launch the connectivity as it will be done in a fun way, the games will really complement one another and being such an awesome selling franchise, both the Wii and DS are bound to benefit sales wise!

Yeah great news about Rooney! but should be left out until the last 16.

Looks alot more Stadium/Collusium than anything in the RPG's! I agree that the name says it all really; The fact that the DS has Diamond and Pearl makes it almost definate that Wii will have the Stadium equivalent for them!

Your current "I need to get back to" List

Metroid Prime 2: Echoes Wasn't enjoying the dark world very much, but it was the Boost Guardian Boss that's meant I haven't gone back to the game yet! Baten Kaitos Just haven't played on it for a while, but really like the game! -
I don't mind Pokemon being in Smash Bros at all (I don't think many do), it's just there shouldn't be too many! Four pokemon is enough! Pikachu should always be in the game, but maybe change some of the others for Brawl! Why they chose Pichu over Raichu I don't know!! Maybe Pikachu could evolve into Raichu when he collects the SUPER SMASH MOVE item and launch a destructive Thunder/Lightning attack!!
-
Gamecube is getting; Zelda: Twilight Princess Baten Kaitos II Super Paper Mario Donkey Kong Bongo Blast Chibi Robo Lego Star Wars II Then there's all the classics; Super Smash Bros. Melee, Resi 4, Metroid Prime, Zelda; Wind Waker, Mario Sunshine etc...
