Yeah NSMB has always looked hideous. Even the Wii U version, when people were saying how great the Wii U enabled it to look. Please.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Wii U / Switch

That enemy we saw in the trailer could be some sort of Ancient Hyrule guardian or something, would be cool. -

^ True. But fuck me, just look at that!! When you think about it though it's not wholly something new. Seems more like a continuation of a theme established in Skyward Sword with... -
Honestly I think the Treehouse made up for a lot. The Digital Event was good-ish... but there were some strange decisions in there, as we've largely covered. Even some of the 'big trailers' in the event like Xenoblade Chronicles, didn't really show any gameplay. If it wasn't for the demo of that game afterwards, my opinion on that game wouldn't have taken the 180 it has based on that trailer.

So are we thinking that the footage is largely a cutscene made for the presentation and none of it's gameplay right? (with only the field being representative of) The way the enemy follows you round the corner and crashes into the wall, The bridge being destroyed... if that was gameplay you then wouldn't have a bridge; more likely it would be a cutscene of an event and you'd then go and pay someone to fix the bridge so you can bring your horse into the area across from it. Also the shield and all the gear being mounted on the back of the horse, if it were gameplay you'd think the shield would be on your back. -

That mushroom was interesting. So whether that's one you can select, or whether how ever you reshape the mushroom then reshapes Mario in the same proportions when he gets it? Blocking off the Castle was funny :p

With 36 different combinations of total specials available for Mii Fighter, they're a bit concerned about balance. Also, Mii Fighter's going to really difficult to ever fight because you can't learn your opponents moves like every other fighter, as you don't know which ones they've chosen.

Well if they didn't, your description certainly helped clear things up :p

Can't see Zelda at all. That piece in the top right corner did make me think of a Rito though :P an eye and beak. -
I think that's justified, the boxart is awful compared to the artwork. Taking out the crescent moon behind Bayonetta and replacing it with a full moon is stupid, seeing as the full moon seems to be a symbol of the game. None of the graphics team stopped to notice this I presume.

So maybe this... Is a grapple recovery? And this, is the Final Smash?

Smash Bros Invitational(spoilers, obvs) - Midnight tonight!

It wasn't a few seconds though, the guy tried his best not to fight the entire way to the final. He was either staying out of the ring, hiding behind the yellow devil, or hanging off the edge where ever he could. And then he'd come out and grab a final smash. Tosser. Eventually the commentators saw it, but even then he just carried on, except playing up to it then. -
Also the game brings back great memories of... (which was also a shooter with paint involved :P)

Yeah does need more. I'm sure they'll add the underground theme at least. Wonder if they'd do water. Maybe design Bowser Castles/Boss battles too. What would be cool, I think someone else may have said, is if you could make your own World Map for your levels too! Basically build your own game :P but that's probably too much. And maybe they'd rather save stuff for a sequel or a Super Mario World Maker etc... ---

Ok Hero beat me to it :p Gonna be in chat if anyone wants to join and watch. -
Yep it's fantastic! Now we know how the developers do it It's funny, Nintendo have set the bar for themselves now. In future NSMB games players might now be able to spot patterns to levels and ways of doing them that they didn't know about/think possible before. Nintendo themselves are gonna have to get SUPER creative, so players just don't go back to playing their super hard levels. :p

That last level, where he just backed it up and ran at the turtles, bouncing from one to the other!

Ok I'm won over on Mario Maker! Again thanks to the Treehouse!

Started with Captain Toad, then Splatoon, then Shigsy showed off his two concept games Project Giant Robot and Project Guard (I didn't really watch these) And now Hyrule Warriors. I'm not sure if there are any repeats around yet or not.
