Pretty sure these Netflix/The Defenders series are all gonna be self contained and only cross over with one another. I'd like that to be the case. Would be cool if these characters made it into Infinity War though.

@Serebii I wouldn't say online is 'shoehorned into every title' on the other consoles. It's there where it makes good sense. I think that's really all you could question about Nintendo's use of it.

Thing is Nintendo's games aren't really going in the direction I'd personally like them to. To me that's more of an issue than the fact they messed up with the Wii U.

Was a bit of a boring trailer, but then it wasn't the spoiler teaser trailer people were complaining about for Age of Ultron so.

'Once the right controller interface becomes available' What the fuck does that mean?! They have the classic controller, they have Wiimotes, they have the Gamepad, they even have a touch screen! If there's one thing Nintendo aren't lacking it's controller interfaces and yet he doesn't feel they have the right one?!!! Mind blown.

The game's not out in the US yet?!

I did have a 3DS when it first came out and played some fantastic games like 3D Land, OOT3D, Resi and Pilotwings, but then I'm not sure, I think there wasn't a great deal on the horizon for a while and I'd much rather play on a home console than a handheld, and I just didn't really think I'd miss it. I'd quite like to have played Luigi's Mansion, I really wish Mario Golf had been a Wii U game. ALBW just doesn't appeal to me, being 2D Zelda and just the art style. Oh actually Kirby Triple Deluxe is a game I keep looking at and would like a chance to play. I dunno, maybe I'll pick up a New 3DS at some point, but Nintendo need to announce some new 3DS games first!

Metroid and Diddy Kong Racing on 3DS would suck so badly as a non 3DS owner. Mind you, I don't own a Wii U yet either, but do at least plan to at some point.

Yeah I think it is aimed at Spring for Japan, and being 'targeted' for 2015 in the rest of the world. Guess it all depends how long the translation takes as to whether it'll come out in 2015 or 2016 over here.

Whilst unlike Wii I wouldn't categorically tell someone not to bother with the Mario games on Wii U, I do think they all look like acquired tastes. The visual style of NSMB is enough to put me off tbh, but then I've never been a fan of 2D Mario anyway. And with 3D World it depends if you want such level design from your console Mario, or if the larger worlds of 64 - Galaxy 2 are more you thing. I think I'd buy it though, and 2-4 player does appeal to me. Captain Toad I think looks great.

I'm in the VAST minority who liked Uncharted 2 the least. Uncharted and Uncharted 3 were very close IMO, both fantastic games. Uncharted 1 more for the characters/location and Uncharted 3 for being what I felt Uncharted 2 should have been.

@Ronnie it's best to just ignore it. Yes @Wii is overdramatic, sometimes overly negative, but really what does it matter, just gloss over the post. You need to add him to your ignore list because you don't enjoy his posts and so what will you be missing by doing so, other than being able to take part in these little spats between the two of you.

I heard about this game through Gametrailers Game of the Year discussions, both in terms of the game itself and the soundtrack. Hadn't heard anything about it until then, but I think it looks great and have added to it my 'to get' list at some point. Has anyone here played it?

Yeah I've been very tempted to pick this up in the sale too! Think I would enjoy it, beautiful art style and no doubt a great story. Think I may well go for it on PS3.
