New New 3D 3DS XL Version SNES Edition

Kirby in a mech suit seems weird... unless they take his abilities away from him in the game. Man the Kirby amiibo is one I've constantly been thinking about buying, I always thought a warp star base for him would be cool; Now I kinda get that! Still undecided as to which I prefer, because I kinda like his smash amiibo blank expression.

Question: could this game come out 'VR enabled', or would they have to launch a VR edition? The release date is prime for a VR reveal of No Man's Sky at E3 and then launching a week later... but unless Sony launch VR at retail out of no where, it would need to come to the game later.

Mmm, April really just has StarFox, as Guard is bundled in and no one will be buying Lost Reavers... right?! Pikmin 4 hasn't been confirmed has it? Also, I'm confused by #FE. It seemed like a huge deal when it was announced, now it's almost like they don't want to talk about it. It also seems to be getting further and further away from having any real relevance to either franchise.

@Ronnie, wish I could get behind it, but I'm just not seeing it, and Shigsy himself said it's another reach Andross affair (although I half expect he's trolling and there's something after that). I can see the Platinum games style beginning to come through more now though, it's slowly starting to have that Bayonetta 2 colour palette/look about its textures. As well as looking more like that StarFox level. Granted that new level looks pretty nice, and possibly the most interesting so far. I think you guy are a bit easily pleased at that SNES Arwing :p but alright.

Thought it was a great Direct! Pleasant surprise Packed full of content. The 3DS is in for a fantastic year! Wii U, not so much, but meh. Paper Mario was a cool surprise, although the paint looks just like a sticker replacement, so not expecting much from it at this stage. Metroid... Ok now I understand more about the game, it's kind of a shame this wasn't on a home console and Nintendo's answer to Halo ODST, or Halo 5 I guess. Nintendo DiMech more like

Well this was weirdly dropped into the Direct!... (I'm watching the US one btw in case the EU one was different) Not sure what to think of this yet... It looks quite nice, and I kind of lit up when I saw it - a new Paper Mario - but then I noticeably felt that drain away (much like the colour from this island) when I realised they'd replaced the gimmick of filling things in with stickers, with filling things in with paint: case in point the screenshot for the above trailer.

Just got back from work and watching the direct back... Sorry but StarFox and StarFox Guard look so dull. Also, Shigsy just dealing out the game spoilers.

Thats why I'm getting the vinyl :p Large full size artwork, will probably frame it.

The 'got in every crack' line would probably be fine for most PG films nowadays. I just presumed the CGI was trying to stay in a similar style to the originals.

I thought it looked fine tbh. I think the Ghostbusters franchise is held in too high regard anyway.

Just got my Gamecube out - looking to see if I still have a memory card for it (can't find it though) - and the front of that has yellowed; it's a different colour to the grey memory card slots. My GameBoy has somewhat yellowed as well. Dreamcast was definitely the worst from memory though.

Any chance this game might be getting released alongside Nintendo's next handheld do we think? Or is it locked in to 3DS? Can't help thinking I'd just like everything to look that bit nicer and less jaggy than the 3D elements in Black and White. Wasn't really a fan of that graphical style... it's along the same lines as Spirit tracks.

There's so much more potential for Knack though! I think I've mentioned it before but in the sequel they should definitely play around with scale more... e.g... Go into a fight as giant Knack against another hulking robot opponent... but then have to shrink down at some point to little Knack, use cover to evade huge attacks, stealthily make your way around and have to climb up inside the giant through a grate in the back of the foot or something... platform up through the internals of the machine, weaken the enemy, exit through the head, jump down, and then deliver the finishing punch as giant knack etc...
