    Ok heres the setup: i have 3 x 500gb s-ata2 disks. All exactly the same manufacturer, and even model. My OS is on a smaller 200gb sata2 disk. And i want to use a raid of some form. So: 1. Is hardware raid better than software raid? 2. Which raid would work the best?

    the wee small cables - i think they earth the enclosures. I *think* they help with static and whatnot. I've put a scary amount of money towards this machine, its rather sad, but i still love it I agree jordan, you can never have too much cooling. Well until your power supply packs it in

    heres an update on mine.. EDIT: I had *fun* fitting these. They are actually on backwards, was trying to keep some of the excess cabling away at the back. I have a fan at the back, tried to fit both of the fans, but no room.

    qtf. So much that i have to listen to that album again. Linkin Park went down the shitter after Meteora.... I can't quite stand Jay-z, so that may make me a bit biased. Bring back the Hybrid Theory style Linkin Park.

    It's my parent's 25th anniversary this year too.. (actually this month) I think they are going somewhere down the south of ireland, to a spa resort.

    I actually got the contract online, i went to the store to send it back. (go figure) I've had it since October last year....just about 6 months. They updated the firmware on it, and i have a bad feeling its slowed it the hell down, which really isn't helping with the initial "broken joystick" issue. (aren't these things supposed to be an improvement?!) I feel like ringing the helpline/going into the store and giving them utter hell.... Caris you did not. lol

    Ok, as the title would suggest I have one, and its been giving me trouble. The joystick is very unresponsive. (actually... no, most of the time it doesn't work at all) I've sent it off with the shop once before, and they sent it back. That was fine 'n dandy, worked better for a while, then now its back in the same situation. Do i have any rights to getting a WORKING phone?! I'm on a contract with 3 mobile. Any advice would be appreciated.

    Dark circles can be caused by disturbed sleep can't they? Like sleeping earlier on weekdays, then later on weekends. Your knocking out your body clock, and that's its way of screaming at you. Ditto Shorty, even when i get the chance to lie in! I used to be a hell of a lot worse as a child, i was up at 3am just about every day

    For a 250 budget i'd say you couldn't really go far wrong. PC specialist do fantastic deals. Can configure it whatever way you fancy, prices ain't bad. One thing i'd stress is get 1gb of ram, it really makes the difference. I'm sure plenty of people can direct you as to what is good/bad here. That "get a mac" thing is really irritating and unconstructive

    I can't function without my sleep...I'm asleep by 11pm. And i get up for work at half 7. Thats...*Counts on fingers* 8 and a half! I agree with Dan dare, it is easy. If you have to be up early...go to bed early.
