  1. he's right, if you eat next to nothing for a week, you will actually put on week the weeks following due to the fact your body goes into panic mode and STORES AS MUCH AS IT CAN. So starvation is not win. Weightwatchers actually promote eating as close to your daily intake as possible, due to the fact lots of weight loss can be seriously bad for you. On a diet 1-2 pounds off a week is normal. Tips: 1. Tuna - As jordan said its uber good for you, i'm a massive fan of it too, my workmates actually think i'm crazy due to how much of this and point number 2 that i eat. XD 2. Heinz Tomato soup - tasty and a whole tin isn't actually that many calories. 3. Low fat cheese spread instead of butter. The ones with herbs and/or garlic give a bit of taste. Also fully skimmed milk instead of semi (its notthat horrible once you force yourself to get used to it.) 4. Thinly sliced bread. 5. Beans are suprisingly high in calories! I like to have half a tin and add chilli powder and spices for a different taste. 6. Portion control - i never realised how much i was eating until i actually forced myself to weigh it. 7. Smaller plate gives you the impression there is more food. Also small spoon when eating cereal, takes longer to eat. 8. Stop half way through your meal and have a glass of water. gives your body a chance to realise its full. 9. gradual steps - cut down portions, add less cheese to meals (etc) before you realise it you'll be eating a lot less. 10. cut down alcohol/sweets/etc, although to be fair that's honest! 11. Herbs are your friends, and have no calories. 12. grilled waffles are a low fat alternative to chips. I've got a million and one tips to dieting
  2. This man has got the right idea.
  3. I have glow in the dark ones ^_^
  4. Or get them altered? edit: shrinking will stretch out as you wear them is the only problem
  5. Then one day....... *snap* Oh. shit. I broke my ear
  6. Hahah thats one way of looking at it. Suprises me how many people are a bit weird about blood/needles etc I've had occasions of being weird with needles.. I get my blood taken a lot, and the only place they can get it is from my hand. A few times they've hit a vein and i can feel the blood being sucked out very hard (it depends what type of suction on the bottle they use though) s'a bit weird but doesn't phase me in the slightest really. There was a pretty traumatic occasion in the dermatology clinic i was getting blood sample taken, and they were having a lot of bother finding veins. With three nurses around me in a very small room...It was beginning to get quite stuffy.. So the dermatologist on duty at the time came on and brutally stabbed my hand with a needle...they did get some blood, but i was sitting with this needle in my hand for about 4 minutes... On that occasion i was very close to fainting!
  7. Sorry my mistake i have .co.uk as my bookmark ^_^
  8. Find a worse tattoo that that?
  9. lol frozen carrot stick, that's just awesome... XD Aye i would agree with you on the stretching, small sizes can be attractive, but hugely stretched ears are just a bit silly looking..
  10. http://www.quietpc.co.uk silent computer parts ahoy, watercooling is good but requires a lot of thought and money. Above website is where i got this bad boy from: (7950gt)
  11. Working in a call centre for district nurses... I know the job absolutely in and out, and know most of the phone numbers of the people that ring, without even having to ask. Its good being in that sort of comfort zone where you know what your doing, and rarely something unexpected happens ^_^ Don't have massive hopes or aims for a job...more money would be nice, but along with that comes a tonne of responsibilities and stress.
  12. Its not a diagnosis, but its still okay to call me a creepo? XD
  13. I got a score of...3. (0 - 9 No Depression Likely) Woo go me and my lack of depression!
  14. Were the elbows not awfully painful to get done?
  15. A bit off topic...but anyway The Last.fm widget on the forum... Is it static (i.e last played at time of posting) or does it change every time you play something new? EDIT: = awesome

  23. We had like an awesome load of snow falling for a while, but it didn't really settle, then the rain came Booooooo
  24. I think i fainted once, got up too quickly, knocked my leg off the side of my bed ended up on my knees, with my hands on the scalding hot heater. What's the most bizarre is that I was half conscious through the whole thing. I could feel my hands burning, and the absolutely ludicrous pain shooting through my leg (ended up with a bruise down the entire length of my leg). Couldn't see anything, just blackness, and horribly strange feelings, almost like a dream. I have no idea what the feck it was :/
