I wouldn't take too much into it chair, if need be pretend you didn't see it. Avoidance is the best idea when dealing with eejits. =P

my immune system is going bananas - ulcers inside my nose (which, fyi, hurt like flaming hell!) infection in my ear, and all the other sickness i get, magnified by 10. Just...urgh. I really freaking hate life at the moment, cant find anything positive to focus on (well because basically everything is going to shit) and i'm taking it out on everyone around me For the past week I've been so full of unwarranted fatigue, that I've had to fight to stay awake at all. It feels like I'm in a constant semi comatose state.. Haha ironically, I got sort of asked on a date.. but i feel so terrible that there's no way i could even contemplate entertaining the idea...

The ema system needs removed completely. We did without it before so I don't know why its needed now. (I never got any of it and I was fine!) Besides, college study is optional, if you can't be arsed to go you don't deserve to get a decent job. Other than that I agree with you completely.

I say take the money off the ones that don't work rather than the ones that do... Raise in national insurance, no way in hell, i contribute more than enough for my wage. These sorts of rises destroy people at my level, the ones making <= £1000 after tax. Just £50 less a month could mean the difference between getting your groceries or not! Why should we suffer more as workers when there are still scum on the dole, buying fags, booze and drugs with their money... (and yes I'm MORE than well aware that there are genuine job seekers, especially in these times) Oh yeah and don't get me started on that bloody ema college payment system .... Yes i'm getting old and grumpy...

You calllllled? MUST LOCATE AND BUY. ^_^ I purchased the "Living Gluten Free for dummies" book today - some late night reading for the win I'm trying to reduce my dairy intake gradually too - bought some soy milk which i had in some wheat free cereal today.. And it was actually decent! I think soy milk is something I could get used to. Dunno if I'll stop eating it completely because I really love cheddar, but if I can cut out as much of it as possible it might help! (iirc hard cheese is one of the "safer" options with intolerance)

There definitely needs to be cuts in public spending, but the thing is, the higher ups aren't cutting in the right place! There's far too many bottom level staff going - 3 departments in my directorate - all of which are relatively low level staff who provide a service. The higher ups seem to almost make jobs for themselves. Something really needs to be done because the NHS is corrupt as fuck. Cutting all the innocent to make way for the rich people in cushy numbers. So who is going to do the hard work? And the cuts in public spending should not directly affect patients because that's a disgrace. I could never afford all of my care/meds by myself

Ahh thanks girls. ^_^ I think i'm just a big ball of pent up bitterness and rage at the moment. One day i'll just lose the plot and end up being admitted to a physch ward. It's getting sooner rather than later =P Our department has someone VERY important on our side. The nursing director, only person above her is the chief executive.. She knows about us, and what we do, loves us to bits (yay) and she'll fight our corner. She tends to get her way most of the time, so here's hoping.

Yaaaaay. My week has been so bad. Apart from a near mental breakdown a few nights ago... I come into work today to be told that there is an "aggressive modernisation and recovery plan". So I thought hey, not to worry, they'll maybe at most cut staff (although that would cripple us) but NO. They're putting the service we provide under the chopping board. So I could very potentially be joining one of many at the FUCKING JOB CENTRE. FUCK YOU NHS. The beautiful irony is how BACKWARDS the system will be if our service gets cut. And I went out to cullybackey to get sandwiches for lunch today (rare treat). Going down this narrowish road where people always park on the other side of the road (meaning my side had right of way). Some plonker in front of me decides to stick on the reverse light to let this monsterous lorry by... (who could have waited) so i reversed as much as i could... people started piling up behind me... then we all got stuck resulting in the person in front having to mount the kerb to let the lorry by. Fuck you, haven't you ever heard of using your right of way >_>

I agree completely, refined sugar, bad fats, too much of everything in general, and not enough of the good stuff. I just cant be bothered with any of it. It's so depressing going out and having to restrict yourself.. I just hope this colonoscopy can bring some sort of help before i start going mental. I've really had enoughhhhh of everything. Gr. I don't even care that i get sick all the time or pain.. Its just the restrictions it brings. I want to be a 23 year old that can drink, eat crap and be normmmalll. edit: Good luck dyson! *sets gaggle on fire*

I went on an adventure today! (woo) Went to belfast with mbam, and we kinda managed to not get lost - although I don't think I was too much help bahaha.. The gluten free diet was sacrificed with a gluteny-cheesey-calorific pretzel which was yum. =D I'm wondering how effective it is being gluten free... because I don't feel any less sick.. >_> Was hoping it would have worked its magic by now (until today it was a good 2 weeks g-f) I think I might be able to get away with it sometimes due to my condition being very episodic. Time will tell. I miss real proper awesome gluten filled bread! But I definitely don't miss subway after how ill I was after eating it! But yes, going to Belfast was fun, and mbam is the bestest ever. And her doggies are also lovely too =D

guuuuh i feel horrible.. so sick and crampy and blergh. like a lead balloon. I can see why a lot of colieacs end up with anorexia... it just makes eating a pain.. Hope i'm just feeling this way because im so new to this... I JUST WANT NORMAL BREAD FOR FUCKS SAKE. Its awkward cause i feel like i'm making a nuisance of myself with friends too, its pretty difficult going out to eat cause very few places in ballymena are gluten aware. Think about it!! Bread & flour is a substantial part of most eating experiences... subway, mcds, kfc, pizza, any kind of batter, pasta, cake, bread, a lot of sweet things, gravies/sauces. Sad han is sad...
