Evangelion 2.22 Blu Ray promo. Surprised nobody posted this yet. Slight confusing spoilers. Nothing terribly ruinous. This is a version someone put together with a less ear-obliterating version of the song used. Still sounds horrible, just a little less horrible. The Blu Ray will apparently have an English language version of the song in it's place.

The new Evangelion pictures are confusing in a new way, but the actual story is a lot easier to follow so far. The first, You Are (not) Alone, is just a suped up retelling of the first five episodes of the show with some pretty nifty little plot additions including a complete revamp of the final battle. The second, You Can (not) Advance is where the plot changes completely and comes into it's own resulting in something which can stand against the original series and in a lot of instances entirely surpasses it. Highly recommended anime viewing. Probably best to watch the original series and then the End of Evangelion before delving in since it's nice to go from the outdated cel animation of the 1996 series to the sublime remakes.

So far my day has consisted of me waking up early and preparing to go rummage through people's junk at a few car boot sales, favoured passtime of the impoverished. Here's hoping I can find some new dirty underpants from a Lithuanian with the crabs.

Yesterday evening we gathered in a friend's shed and watched movies and tv shows, introducing me to Psychoville which I thought was hilarious. Will certainly be watching more. For a friend's fancy dress birthday party in a few months it has been suggested I go as Ash from Pokemon. Sounds do-able and nerdy enough to generate my interest. It will be supreme. Has to be classic Ash though, none of this retarded new costume stuff they're turning out nowadays.

I really want to get my parents in a room and come out of the closet to them, have them buy it as genuine and then after they accept it and smile with me tell them it was just a joke. I'm that kind of son.

It should be noted that although I did work at my previous job for almost three years without taking a sick day, I haven't worked since I left, so really the last few months have been me on constant sick days. Making up for the lost time... off.

I bet they still nab an Oscar with every one of them. Although I hear How to Train Your Dragon is a serious contender this time around. Then again initial screenings of Toy Story 3 have received ultimate praise for being a worthy conclusion to the trilogy that is both hilarious and heartbreaking, so we'll see. My money is on Japan's Evangelion 2.0 - You Can (NOT) Advance taking the statue. Or maybe that's just wishful thinking.

Been out on the road with my pop all day again today, looking like a scruffy illegal immigrant van boy in the co-pilot's seat with my feet up and reading the majority of a book. I then came home and resumed reading with the sun smiling down on me in the garden lounging in one of the most uncomfortable chairs fathomable. Tonight is movie night at a friend's house which I am betting will potentially involve watching movies and the consumption of pizza and other fast foods that make you crap like a rabbit. I drank a lot of coffee today. Twitch.

If the real ending has leaked there's no chance of escaping it for the next few weeks online. This is the Internet and Harry Potter is an excellent comparison. Even assholes in real life who hate Lost will seek to spoil this. What we should do is crash a plane on a real island isolating ourselves on there with a portable television we can power on just before each episode airs up until the finale.

Read the entire Sighs of Haruhi Suzumiya out on the road as Chewwie today. Not since Tenchi Muyo! have a cast of highly likeable comedy harem characters concealed such mystery and intrigue beneath a layer of generic fluff. Bring on the next book.

I don't have the forum balls to pick something to make, I'd prefer someone else to do it. I'm too biased against certain foods. Maybe The N-Europe Snack of the Week can wait until further suggestions are made? That could be best. This thread may die in a few days. Just had my second cream cheese and Wotsit sandwich of the day. Thilling. A combination of thrilling and filling.

Raining - fantastic! A bit of luck for you nearing the end of what I've read to be a super shit week. AeroScap - Gotta love the Library. Love your signature by the way. Still need to watch Soul Eater. The character designs and style of the series are so appealingly deriative of the usual anime flotsam Japan jettisons our way and people, myself admittedly no exception, hungrily consume.

I find cheese goes with pretty much anything from experimentation and consider it essential snack content. Cut open a banana so the skin sits open either side, slice up a Mars Bar into small chunks, place Mars chunks inside the skin beside the banana and heat until Mars melts. My brother used to have this when he went camping with the Scouts and swears by it. I'm still trying to figure out how to add cheese to the above, but the suggestion of cheese and ham with banana gives me hope I can make it work.

Thanks for editing the title, Dan Dare. I'll mess with the first post a little later when I'm back at home on the computer and not wrestling with mobile Internet. Should there perhaps be a "weekly snack" elected from those proposed for people to try and rate? Is that too bold a thing to consider? It could be interesting.

As the creator for that thread I am absolutely down with that since it opens it up to a wider range of discussion. Can a mod make it so? I will edit my first post accordingly.

Cream cheese is an excellent butter substitute for a crisp sandwich. Slightly deviating from topic but does anyone put fries into their burger if they eat at McDonalds or Burger King? Haven't done that forever, must remember to do so next time. And here they come, negative McDonalds comments. I feel them building.
