  1. Happy Feet Aww look at the dancing penguins 7/10
  2. Completed it and downloaded all the bonus content
  3. I also prefer the older Disney films - Pinnochio, Dumbo, Lady and the Tramp, The Sword in the Stone, The Jungle Book and The Rescuers being particular favourites. Then there's The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, The Lion King and Pocahontas which were quite good. After that they went downhill. As for Pixar, Toy Story was and is.
  4. I know, my TV is shit.
  5. Netgear DG834G - fully compatible with Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. Got it working with some help from Orange Broadband
  6. Most of them. Depends on what Mega Drive and Turbografx games are released on VC. Some may require the Classic Controller.
  7. My sister likes Wii Sports. Her boyfriend also joined in, playing Golf. Dad tried golf on Saturday night, but we'd had a few in the pub
  8. My Wii only came with 250 points. What's going on here? And ToS and RE4 were not published by Nintendo. They were published by Namco and Capcom respectively, but Nintendo of Europe distributed them on their behalves.
  9. 7:40am - radio comes on with the shouty lardarse Chris Moyles. Get up and get dressed. 8:05am - head to the bus stop 8:15am - bus arrives. 8:45am - bus arrives in Wigan. Walk up Market Street to go to Subway round the corner. Notice Gamestation is open. 8:50am - Get into Gamestation and hand in my pre-order slips and GameCube for trade-in. Farewell, dear friend :'( 8:55am - walk out of Gamestation with Wii, Zelda, Red Steel, Classic Controller, 2000 Wii Points and 1GB SD card. Still waiting for extra controllers to come in, so will pick them up this coming Friday. 9:00am - go to Argos to buy a microphone (got a gig tonight), then Music Zone for some - *shudder* - modern music. 9:15am - catch bus back home. 9:45am - head to Subway for toasted breakfast butty. 9:50am - back home, and take the first photo: 10:00am - set up Wii. 10:10am - play Wii Sports for the first time. 10:20am - remember I bought a breakfast butty from Subway and start eating. It's still warm. 10:30am - more Wii Sports! 11:15am - play Red Steel for the first time. 12:15pm - download first Virtual Console game - Donkey Kong Country (SNES) 12:45pm - play Zelda for the first time. So in all, quite a day really! I was amazed to see how small the actual WiiMote actually was!

  12. I use a Classic Controller. I purchased a 2000 point card from the store where I bought my Wii.
  13. Sonic for the Wii? Out in March.
  14. On its way I'd imagine I've downloaded Donkey Kong Country, I always loved that game.
  15. I've also bought and played Red Steel. It will take some time to adapt to the control system, but it should be second nature once you master it

  20. I've got good vibes from this one - hopefully this is EA taking Nintendo systems more seriously now
  21. I might take some photos Friday morning of me opening and setting up the Wii.
  22. Just different journalists with different views I suppose. Always nice to get UK-specific content on a primarily US site.
  23. Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz IGN UK review
  24. e + right alt = é Pokémon Box is more of a utility program for people who have Pokémon Ruby/Sapphire on GBA. You also need a GameCube - GBA cable. It comes with a memory card, so you can store your Pokémon on it. And it'll let you play Ruby/Sapphire without a Game Boy Player. I don't know if it's compatible with Pokémon Emerald though, but I'm sure it is.
