RE4 was in development hell for a lot of that time though. If it weren't for one of the failed early concepts of the game then Devil May Cry wouldn't exist. Work on the real RE4 didn't begin until sometime after the preview of the final beta of the game at E3 2003. But yeah it's confirmed now that RE5 isn't going to make it for 2008, so this one is probably having problems too.

Well I just finished Silent Hill 2 this morning and I was not disappointed. The atmosphere of the game is brilliant; the design, the controls, the music, the camera angles and the small draw distance all come together to create one terrifyingly claustrophobic experience. Seriously the sound design alone will be making you shit yourself a points. The enemies/monster were good. Nothing hugely unexpected or disturbed... Well except for Pyramid Head and his love of rape. The boss fights were crap. The characters and plot were decent although the voice acting at times was a bit poo. But in the end all I wanted from this game was a scary and compelling experience and that's what I got. I'm not sure if I'll pick up any of the other games now, I think I'll just wait and hope 5 turns out well.

In all fairness Tifa was a mean bitch as a kid who hung out with a group of fags that bullied Cloud. The poor guy grew up constantly trying to be accepted and then got blamed for nearly killing Tifa when he was trying to save her. It's only fair that she has to yearn for Cloud's attention in the future. As for Aeris; she was an annoying bitch who only like Cloud because he based his new persona on that of her dead boyfriend (Zack). Although personally I was always for Cloud and Tifa getting together in the end.

Even though I'm a big Radiohead fan myself I think OK Computer is overrated. While it does contain three of there most iconic and best songs (Paranoid Android, No Suprises, Karma Police), half of the album isn't that great. Electioneering and Climbing up the Walls are amazing as well, Airbag is good too. As for the rest of the album; it's just dull. I don't think anyone will remember OK Computer for years to come because of The Tourist, Let Down, Lucky and the others I haven't mentioned. The Bends and Kid A are better albums (imo).

No wonder this game sold like shit in America; I went into a Game, a Gamestation, Virgin (aka Zavvi), HMV and Woolworths today. All these stores had large Nintendo sections yet this game was nowhere to be seen. Fortunately the Donkey Kong racing game was on the top shelf of every shop. What a shame.

I loved this game, it easily had the best cast of Final Fantasy characters in the series. Shame about Kuja being such a crap villain though. -

I know how you feel dude; that analogy fits my life perfectly at the moment as well. Everything is just so horribly monotonous for me at the moment I'm just trying to make my way through this endless barrage of coursework hoping that once its done then suddenly things will start to pick up. Nothing is going to change though unless I make change happen. Although I'm far too lazy to actually bother acting on my boredom with life. For now, I'll just live off fantasies of a life I wish I had.

I don't get it. Why are some of you giving Okami such low scores? (80 = low ) The game will always be a 90+ unless Capcom royally fuck up the controls. -
