The Wii deifnitely has something magical about it, though its something I felt with Nintendo since the beginning - whatever games come out, nothing seems to capture the same feeling mario or zelda give me, simple as that. The Wii in particular is just amazing and will ONLY get better over the coming years. Does it have the sheer quality software the Xbox has? No, but you'd be stupid to think it would and very shortsighted to think it wont. Fact is, SSX Blur is better because of the wiimote, Godafather, Res Evil, Sacrface are all better because of the wiimote, Fifa is better because of the Wiimote and so on and so on. The wiimote is amazing, it will be the future interface design on future consoles (until Nintendo decides otherwise) and will be home to the best and most innovative software this generation.

So after you doa transfer and then SAVE CLUBS it puts the players you moved back again? Well I'll just do it manually then. Though thst pretty stupid! The game gets even better when you get used to the more advanced controls - the tricks primarily, but also the chipped shot, faked shot etc. The game is simply awesome. How come we havent started having online matches with us lot!?!

Right, firstly I'd like to point out that i think this game look sincredible and could be the biggest game of the year, of the gerneration - sales and quality. BUT.... Does anyone else get a tiny bit worried that they could be putting TOO much into the game? All these moves and giant smashes, and assist trophey's! I mean, I worry every fight will just be absolute chaos and not require lots of skill. This is a tiny worry and with no foundation, but occassionaly it corsses my mind. And Sonic HAS to be in this game. It is a ridiculously missed opporutniy if he's not!!! It will simply make the game better!

Hmmm, through further play my whipped cross by flicking up is actually just the player shooting which turns itself into a whipped cross occassionally - DAMN!!!!!!!!!

Its a pretty shoddy mag, but a £10 subscription and you get a free game - I couldnt turn it down!!! Bit gutted though, when I did it it was Cooking mama, this month is harry Potter - I dont want it, but my girlfriend realy wants to play it so it would have been great for her!! This months issue is pretty good (free animal crossing toy), though I am eagerly awaiting news on Red Steel 2!!!

I want you to rant metroid. I think multiplayer gaming is awesome on Wii - Sports, Wario, Strikers, Fifa and loads more. Whats there to dislike?!

Khilfha I think you've got it wrong, to say the 360 version is more simulation is making out it is a GOOD simulation when it isnt, its not slow in a good way. The game is just trying to be like Pro Evo and FAILS heavily! The Wii version is slightly more arcadey (and in football terms i still prefer pro Evo), but its a different gae to pro evo and brilliant in its own way (like i said the best fifa since the first in my eyes). If you want a faster slightly more arcadey feel then get the Wii Fifa, if you want a sim get Pro Evo (or both) either way DO NOT get fifa on 360 or PS3 - Ive only played 360 version but Im guessing both versions are the same. Anyways, thanks for the help K project, but that IS what im doing, but its just not good enough in my eyes. Oh well. Guess the crossing is just pretty crap again. never mind, a small flaw in otherwise great game is good going. EDIT. Finally!!! I figured it out. A good whipped cross in, when you're in the crossing zone if you flick the wiimote up (to hoof it or shoot normally) then it puts in a good cross in. Im so pleased about this!

Can anyone tell me how to put good crosses in or is the crossing system just a bit shit? I remember the crossing being crap in the old fifas too. Shame as i love wingplay in these games but my crosses are always floaters and the keeper cacthes them - on pro evo (sorry to bring it up) you have 3 great crosses - lofter, whipped in and low; fantastic. Wish Fifa had the equivelant, please tell me it has!

Yeah played it till 3 am - on my own! Which is bizarre for a football game with me! Really loving it. I use dynamic cam zoomed in full and lowered full. I didnt know White Hart Lane wa a stadium in the game - thats made me very happy! And you can buy the lovely Surs third kit in the game Me and my housemates are having a beer and gaming night tonight, think Fifas going to get some serious playtime!

Firstly, this is the best fifa game Ive played since the original on the SNES! Its not Pro Evo on a footballing level, but its an awesome game. The motion controls feel good and there is just enough without getting tiring and the mini games are awesome - especially table football and juggle - love them. Havent played load yet, going to crack into it now, but from initial play I'm loving it!

Okay im convinced Im getting it today. however, because of no reviews i didnt preorder and want to buy it after work. But I dont want to pay £10 more than i would online. Sooooo, anyone know where its cheap? Toys R us and Asda/Tesco seem to be the obvious places.

This game has the potential to be so good. I LOVE olympic games and this has so many events! If sega have got them all spot on this could be an absolute killer title! Theres some really ambitious events in there too. I mean, running, hurdles, and the jumping events are pretty easy to nail! But fencing? Rowing? Gymnastics? Interesting. I dont want to get too excited cause it could easily be average, but it could also be one of my favourite games!! I mean, if they crack table tennis alone it could be worth the buy above Rockstars!! I also hope the options for playing the events is high! I doubt it, but still hope!

So its okay to knock Metroid for having no multiplayer (even though it isnt a mutliplayer game) buts its not okay to knock Halo for a having a disappointing one player?!?! Edge talk shit, who cares, lets just love both games in their own way.

Edge always has and always will be a pretentious pile of wank. I'd love to see why they gave it a 7 and why Halo 3 got a 10! Would love it!

Why has this been stickied? Crazy to hear so many postive reviews of the game, good though, sounds freaking bizarre! Why isnt this coming out in US? Too weird for them?

Wii twlight princess controls are fantastic - way better than a traditional pad! Its not one to one movement but swinging your arm to strike a sword - however much it is, in essence, pressing a button - it is still WAY more emmersive then simply pressing that button it replicates!! And of course the IR aiming is amazing!!

I didnt realise they' dtaken loads of stuff OUT of the game, why would they do that? Why would they take stuff away, it doesnt make any sense. You say they did the same for Madden too? I hope they realise that the shit sales of this years madden comapred to last years madden is all their fault then!!

To be fair to EA they have put a lot of effort into the Wii and really pushed the hardware from a control point of view. If fifas crap its not from a lack of trying.

I cant eblieve this is out friday. Im dying to know if its any good. is it me, or have sites and mags NOT even played the normal football game? I havent seen any impressions other than the minigames. This is very worrying!!! I was going to order it from play but without a review or opinions of any kind I'm not going to risk it, though if it is good I would love to have it!!!

Game looks great as expected. cant wait, has this been 100% confrimed for UK before xmas? On another note, in that scan in the NEWS banner at the top, theres a picture of Band Bros. Is that incredible DS game finally getting a western release??!

Strange, this was supposed to be in the Nights thread!! Someone was complaining its coming out before christmas and not delayed till next year! Dont know how that happened!
