I just don't think that PS3 list is that impressive and a lot of those games are for Wii and 360 - we can all produce lists out of our arse, we could provide a list for Wii that is llonger than that! We clearly all have different tastes and I don't think we can convince each other otherwise, personlly, the Wii is a great system and had a great year - infintely better than PS3 and way better than 360's first; but that isn't the case for everybody, clearly, but for me the Wii has had an amazing virtual console lineup, smashing xbox's easily and well PS3's hasn't really took off yet. That is a one BIG plus for Wii, they're mindless extras but I have loved the Mii, Forecast, Vote and and now the vote mii chanels, great FREE extras. The games, here's why I have loved the Wii. Solo games: AAA's Zelda, in my ooinion it is better than Wind Waker and yes even the almighty Ocarina, for me, it's the best Zelda ever. Not a bad start. Metroid, again the best Metroid ever, better than Prime 1 and better than prime 3. Also, as everyone also says - the BEST controls for a console FPS - it is just amazing. Super Mario Galaxy - the best game ever!!!!!!! No need to say more. For me, these 3 games are better than ANYTHING on the 360 or PS3. Other great solo player games: Super Paper Mario SSX Blur (best SSX game ever BECAUSE of the controls) Eledees Resident Evil 4 (best version of the game) Scarface - normally generic, but the CONTROLS raise it to a great little game Guiatr Hero 3 Trauma Centre Excite Truck Multiplayer Games: Wii Sports Mario Strikers Wario Ware Big Brain Academy Mario and Sonic Olympics Fifa 08 - best Fifa since Fifa 96 (fr its time) BECAUSE of the controls Rayman Raving Rabbids Madden 07 (controls) Toer Woods (controls) Special mention Endless Ocean - an amazing experience Kororinpa - not ana amzing single player, not an amazing multiplayer, but there's something about it that I LOVE (PS BECAUSE of the controls) On top of this I love the Wii because my girlfriend loves the Wii. And my family plays the Wii. and our friends who dont play vdieogames love the Wii. And our friends who dont play videogames love the Wii. PS And in the future when 3rd parties start REALLy utilising the Wii, then fuck me are things going to get good!!!!

But whats kid icarus got to do with the last two generations? (notsaying I dont want it or think it will happen) Also, ita aint megaman for the reasons above though this I can see happening easily. The only game that fits is Pilotwings!! And I think it is a bit of a megaton for NINTENDO fans. Waaaaay more than Sin and Punishment (where did this sugestion come from )

Yeah likecosmic said the PS3 is only good value if I dont want to use it for them things!!!! Firstly I would guess most of us use our PCs/macs/laptops to browse the net, secondly the Wii's broswer is better. As for the media stuff, bullshit, not interested at all, I want my games machines to play games. The bluray player is the BEST thing about the PS3 actually, for me its a bluray player that plays some games too I still feel the PS3 will END UP being a really good console, but at the minute I wouldnt buy a single game for it! Well its clearly game that has been on the last two machines or by a developer which has produced work by the last two machines. For me Factor 5 (made rigue squadron games on the 64 and cube) making Pilotings (very similar in some respects to Rogue Squadron). Also, wasn't there a rumour before Factor 5 started making Rare that they were working on Pilotwings!?!? Also, the game couldn't have been on the cube as it wouldnt be a revivial, just this generations version - Pilotwings ticks every box!!!

Evilmurray ruined it for me like a tit, but he didn't know (he's one of those people that slated the game after getting about 10 stars) so I was hoping it was not confirmed, but now it is. Wii lacks polish!?! WTF are you talking about? The Wii machine easily looks the slickets, the front end is way slicker then 360's. And the games!!? Well surely all consoles have some games that lack polish and some that do; maybe Wii has more crap games because it's attracting money grabbing basts, but it's still a bullshit statement. I love debate but please back it up!!! How does Zelda NOT have polish but say Oblivion does? We could name MANy games that do, you aint making any sense, sounds like you're bashing for bashing sake.

My friends have played my copy while I was away, and they werent too impressed, though only played one go on 100m, rowing and fencing. Does it get better? Also, does the person who can move the wiimote and nunchuk up and down the fasest win? Or is their a ryhtm you have to adhere to? Also, when is the speed capped at FULL speed? I want there to be skill in it (well as much skill as there is in flailing arms) - if I can move my arms quicker than my friend I want to be running faster than him in the game!! am I making any sense whatsoever?

Exactly Jammy! And King V, how can you say the Wii's first year is good only because it had a few really strong games moved over to it from the gamecube? I dont care WHY it's had a good first year, just saying that it HAS Anyways, I'm happy, I have over 25 games and like to love them all!!

Dead Rising is awesome I'll give you that (haven't played Mass Effect YET) though Gears of War is hooribly overrated IMO, I really like it don't get me wrong, it looks INCREDIBLE (the best looking game ever IMO) but god does the gaemply get boring. As for Colin Mcrae and PGR3, well I hate racing sims! I'm not saying 360 doesnt have some amazing games, I'm saying the Wii has had an amazing first year - much better than the 360 had (95% of the games you mentioned came in the 2nd year!). And me, personally have enjoyed Galaxy, Metroid and Zelda more than ANY of the 360 games. PS And yes, Excite Truck is a GREAT game (I wasm't sure if you was being sarcastic c0zm1c!?)

The first year on Wii is the BEST first year I have everr witnessed!!! I dont know what peoples problem is - it's better thsn the NES, SNES, N64, gamecube, PS, PS2, Xbox, and yes even the od almight (on these boards) 360!!!! We've had Zelda, Metroid and Mario - IMO the best version of each repsective series - fuck me things couldn't be any better for a nintendo fan!!! We've also had some great broad range titles - endless ocean, mario strikers, res evil 4, Rayman, Trauma Centre, Scarface/Godfather (purely for the controls), Super Paper Mario, Kororinpa, Fifa, SSX Blur, and more. Lets not forget the awesome xmas lineup - Guitar Hero, Ghost Squad, res Evil UC, M&S Olympics, RRR 2 and the stunning post xmas launch - Mario Kart, BWii, Smash Bros, Wii Fit, Medal of Honour 2, Zack and Wicki etc. WHAT THE FUCK IS PEOPLES PROBLEM!!! What does 360 have we don't? CoD4. Bioshock, Halo 3, GRAW, Orange box.....what genre are all these again? Oh yeah FPS ZZZzzzzzzzz And Metroid (in one player) beats them all!!!!! People fucking love to moan though don't they......? PS I have all the 360 games mentioned except Halo 3, which I'll playing after xmas (my mates getting it for xmas)

I'm here now, it's a pretty daunting crazy place (I'm stying in Shinjuku) I'm actually staying in Kubikicho, which is the japanese red light district and is FULL of massage palours and hooker type places - very surreal! It took me two hours to find my hotel after being awake for 50 hours straight! After my first full day though I've got the hang of it a little and it's pretty exciting trying out my Japanese, trying being a generous word for what I'm doing.... I've been excited about this for a long time, I LOVE Olympics games and all they are button bashers. Will I like this? The frustrating controls - when you get used to them do they turn out good? How does Table tennis control - no review has said yet?

What other games have you been playing that has better value than that in a single player experience?!?!
