So there's Black Ops III this year, I'll go for Advanced Warfare II in 2016, Grey Ops in 2017, Grey Ops II in 2018, then they'll really go crazy and release Advanced Black Ops the year after, now with anti-gravity tanks! For the record, I'm not suggesting IGN got it wrong each year, far from it, but a little bit of variety would be nice. Slim pickings I suppose. Cuphead was something so refreshing and original, Fallout 4 looks to be an excellent game. What won it for Battlefront was basically the audio/visual.

If they wanted to give it to a AAA game at least give it to Fallout. It's still a shooter (obviously) but at least has other aspects to the gameplay. 8 out of the last 10 E3 Best in show's from IGN have been shooters.

Two years ago Nintendo revealed Mario 3D World, Smash Wii U + 3DS, Mario Kart 8, Donkey Kong, Wind Waker HD and Xenoblade for the very first time, and people were still complaining it was a terrible showing. That truly boggled the mind, especially with a supporting cast of Link Between Worlds, Pokemon X/Y and Bayonetta. If the fans weren't satisfied with that, arguably Nintendo's best E3 showing in years, then 2015 had no hope.

Not interested in multiplayer in the slightest, so I hope the single player stuff is good enough? Anyone read any reports of that? Shame there's no story based campaign.

There's nothing to take onboard. COD iterates with minor gameplay tweaks every year. They release the same old FPS with small changes each year because people keep buying the games. Good for them. @Clowferret shouldn't be called out for daring to suggest that we get iterative sequels each year.

Jet packs and boosters ok gotcha. Clearly night and day difference just like Splatoon v COD.
