Of course comparing them is unfair, one is from Playtonic, the other is from Nintendo the kings of 3D platformers, I was just responding to the suggestion that Nintendo should learn from the visuals of this game for Mario NX.

Even if that turns out to be true, which I'm very dubious about, I'll stick with the version the devs are prioritising. Wouldn't be surprised to see some easter eggs in the Wii U version.

Adored Watch Dogs, probably my favourite game I've played on PS4 so far. Can't wait for the sequel. Why reveal things before E3 though!!! Such a shame, as if my hype around E3 could get any lower.

The Animal Crossing video was brilliant, but I was a little disappointed with this one. amiibo skins, a MK battle mode track and up-resed N64 Mario Party stages don't really scream HIRE ME.

Those Mario, Samus and Link Inkling skins look amazing

3D World and Captain Toad look far, far better than this. Not just in terms of visuals, but camera control and especially animation. It's no surprise, Nintendo are king with this sort of thing, I just don't see what they can learn from this game's graphics which don't look anything special IMO.

Really?? I mean visually it looks ok, but "stunning" and something Nintendo need to match?? I think not.

It's like those annoying "inspirational" quotes and graphics that have been doing the rounds on social media for years, just with a Nintendo twist.

I'm with @dazzybee, I don't understand how people think it suggests MK8 DLC. Like he says they post these sort of motivational statement type tweets all the time and the MK8 hashtag is just something they threw at the end to promote their games, like they did with #Zelda shortly after.

I think we're reading too much into that tweet. The Nintendo UK account tweets random things like that all the time. Also if the game is being ported to NX it'd make sense to wait before revealing any new courses

Sorry, who's being negative or getting upset about the delay now? I'm pleased we're getting it on the same day as Europe. I was just expressing surprise that the release day being brought forward by a whole 48 hours was enough to bring derailed hype back from the dead.

Now releasing on the 10th of August in the UK to coincide with the rest of the Europe. So only a 6 week and 5 days delay now

I suspect half of the PS4s out there were bought simply to play FIFA and COD.

It's a fantastic game, one of the best Zeldas but I do wish the overworld wasn't rehashed. I know there are little changes here and there obviously but it would have been amazing to have a brand new world to explore.

So sounds like this is worth a buy?

Just Gone Home for me, been waiting to get that on Steam so will just pick it up here. When do PS Plus games go live for the month? Is it on the 1st?

It's a great video and as always he makes some very good points. It's a real shame as the game's content itself is really good.
